App Reviews

  • Only office suite with the features I want

Crash/Bugs – Docs? (2018-Aug-17): When app is unloaded from memory (because of one too many apps open), the app attempts to recover the document I was working on - The problem: The background color of the recovered document is displayed as black. Yes, the document can be saved, and when reopening, it will display the correct background color. Cons – Docs: In Web View, a zoom of 98% or less causes tables to stop responding to horizontal movement. – Docs: In Web View, for longer tables, it becomes hard to navigate vertically, because, at one point, vertical movement stops working, every gesture is regarded as horizontal movement - making longer tables which cover the entire screen, essentially inescapable. Pros + Docs: I really love the Web View feature; hardly any other app has this feature without it being hopelessly broken (i.e. Google Docs) + App: Generally good performance on use. Latest updates point towards a better app too, looking forward to it. Other * Docs: A toggle to display/hide the actions ribbon while in editing mode would be great to add to the screen real state. The keyboard, the blue bar on top, and the actions ribbon take a lot of space.

Upgraded to Premium. Overall very pleased. Use it to write blog posts in Word format and upload to Dropbox. Retrieve on my computer and upload to Wordpress. The paste function occasionally disappeared in Word but would reappear if I exited and reentered the app. That bug appears to have been fixed in the latest versions. Just started using spreadsheets. Also appear to be very good. Update: the development team continues to add features and the app performs very well. Integration with Dropbox is good.

Great app. Pretty happy, so far. It is missing 2 things I need. I will buy $15 OfficeSuite Pro if you add built-in thesaurus and auto word completion - including Learned words. I do not use Apple's soft keyboard (Swiftkey). I use handwriting keyboard called Myscript Stylus. I need auto-complete built into OfficeSuite. Press spacebar to accept suggested word. I would also like paid version to have shortcut for Spellcheck Whole Document and Thesaurus on extra keyboard row, and skip to bookmarks forward and backward. Need a button to select a word, sentence or paragraph near cursor, all at once. Also need Dark-mode in paid and free OfficeSuite, and choose autosave frequency. What's the difference between $15 Pro and $20 Premium apps? Thank you. If you plan to add these features, reply here, and put them in feature list of paid OfficeSuite when you do.
  • Do we want real reviews or fake ones?

It takes time to research, explore, work out or investigate anything, both new and established. Maybe we live in a world where we are asked if we like something 2 minutes after downloading it, but the answer, in something that superficial, is fake. I’ll write a real review when I have something. Until then, this is modeled like desktop . . . And that isn’t bad.

Works just like it says. But it also says in the list of available features... “ Premium PDFs… Convert PDF to Word Excel and EPUB (available as part of OfficeSuite personal subscription) So I read this as I should be able to convert PDF docs to Word or Excel when I purchased this subscription but when I try to do it said I had to go premium?!?!!! And I have no idea what the “available as part of OfficeSuite person subscription” means? Can you explain it? Not real happy about this.
  • Not quite perfect

We use OpenDocuments extensively on our IT systems so it would be great if it supported editing and saving in odf & odt formats. Also due to IT security policy we don’t allow the use of cloud based storage services, but we do our sync through resilio sync instead and have it installed on all our devices. It would be great if there was native support to open from resilio sync like the other cloud service integrations.

I stopped using my computer a few years back using only my cell phone and kindle fire. Since I bought my I-pad a couple of months ago I decided I don’t need a new computer. I decided to use the Office software for my first document and it is so much better than I remember it. I-pad and Office is a winning combination.

This app is great. I have to get accustomed to how it works. I have never used a PDF converter and was expecting more but now I know different fonts are not available when converted. Thank you for your support. Sorry for the negative review. It wasn’t the app it was me. Again sorry for trouble or concern I caused.

This is a very good program to view all the required documents into one word, excel,PowerPoint,PDF, you have to buy the upgrade version if you want to unlock all the capability and there is add pop ups at the bottom that is annoying
