Using PingID on your Windows computer is actually very easy but if you are new to this process, you will definitely need to pay attention to the steps listed below. This is because you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We will help you download and install PingID on your computer in 4 simple steps below:

1: Download an Andriod Software emulator for Windows

The importance of the emulator is that it emulates or immitates an android environment on your computer, making it super easy to install and run android apps from the comfort of your PC without buying a phone that runs android. Who says you cannot enjoy both worlds? To begin, you can download such an emulator app made by too top dogs in the space.
A. Nox App . OR
B. Bluestacks App .
Personally, I recommend the "B" option as Bluestacks is very popular so if you run into any trobles using it, you can find good solutions on Google or Bing (lol).

2: Now Install the Software Emulator on your Windows PC

If you successfully downloaded the Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe, go to your Downloads folder on your computer or anywhere you ususally store downloaded files.
Once you have find it, click it to install the application. It should start the installation process on your PC.
Click Next to accept the EULA License agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application.
If you do the above correctly, the Software will be successfully installed.

3: How to Use PingID for Windows PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and locate the search bar. Now type PingID in the search bar and hit Search. You will easily see the app. Click on PingID application icon. A window of PingID will open and it will display the app in your Emulator Software. Hit the Install button and your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
Next, you will see the "All Apps" icon.
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the PingID icon. Click on it and start using the application.

App Reviews

  • Seamless with Apple Watch

    By Ryohazuki222
I have to use this for work, like everyone else. I love how seamless this works with my Apple Watch. I’ve used Okta, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google Authenticator apps in the past and never liked them. Note that the negative reviews are NOT REVIEWING THIS APP — they are reviewing their company’s IT.
  • How does allowing access to location services improve security.

    By Mike@wendys
The title says it all. If you know where my phone is when I'm authenticating, so what? How does that improve security as your pop-up claims?
  • Good App

    By aj_cardiff
Very simple. It does what it says in an efficient way. This is enabled at my corporate intranet and I don’t have any problem in last 6 months I have been using.
  • Love this app w/ FaceID

I’ve used a lot of push apps to secure web apps. This one is simply FASTER. It’s completely dummy-proof, for your end users that don’t normally endure security apps.
  • Stop trying to force me to turn on push notifications

    By WoohooGreatApp
I continue to receive a pop-up screen that states: "To securely authenticate with PingID you need to change your device settings." No. I don't need to do that. The app functions 100% properly without changing my device settings. Then, the app tries to direct me to my settings to turn on notifications, allow notifications, show notifications on the lock screen, and display banners. This pop-up displays EVERY time I open the app even after I decline to change my device settings. Stop spamming me. It is brutally annoying.
  • Bad service

    By Giannuz1
Called on a weekend to ask for help, a human actually answered which was nice but then wouldn’t even try to help me. He told me to call IT at my company, which is closed, I tried reading him the error message and his response was “ your IT department” he wouldn’t even listen to me. Terrible service.
  • Update to iPhone X

    By mspalacios
When will this app be updated to support iPhone X? .... AppleWatch app also complains needs to be update soon. Please update!
  • Simply stupid

    By Crashn
Nothing personal against the app developers but having to download apps and go through numerous complicated layers of authentication by my employers is ridiculous. There are easier ways to accomplish the same goal
  • Invalid Signatures and other bugs

    By Actual Geek
Too buggy, and as a user for multiple browsers, and multiple devices, this is not friendly. Decreases my work time trying to log into application I need :/
  • They could not have made this harder.

    Frustrated, and confused
