  • Junk

Maybe this is ok in Europe but it is worthless here in Dallas. Non intuitive. Convoluted interface. Can’t find a 40-year-old address. When connected to sync on my Lincoln navigator there is no voice command function. So if you were driving you can’t enter anything. Unlike Google or Waze or you can just say the address and it pulls it up, here you have to enter in a city into the city field and then wait for it to populate and then select the city, then it asks for the street number, but you can’t enter the street number until you’ve entered the street which is unseen as it’s after the street number so you have to scroll down to the street then you enter in the street name and then you have to select the right street name, then you go back up to the street number and it may or may not find that street number. Pathetic is a good way to describe this app. I don’t understand somebody paying a dollar for this much less the 70 or so dollars they want for it.
  • Doesn’t work with my Ford

    By SteveinDC
I was all excited when I hear this app was available to work with the Sync 3 system in my 2017 Ford Fusion. Well, it doesn’t work. I connect it to my car using the USB cable (since I have an iPhone 7) and all that happens is that a message pops up saying “waiting for device,” but the app never displays on my car’s screen like it’s supposed to. I’ve reached out several times to the support department at Sygic but the advice they gave didn’t work and they haven’t answered my latest email in nearly a week. Thumbs down on this app! UPDATE: The app still isn’t working, and the support department keeps telling me to do the same things over and over, namely to send him a screenshot (done) and to restart the application, (done). None of their so-called solutions works, this thing just doesn’t work. I guess I foolishly expected their tech-support to be able to do something other than follow a pre-written script full of advice that had already tried on my own before contacting them. Wow.
  • Very Satisfied Customer

    By atnictowt
I’ve been using Car Navigation with a 2018 Ford in the U.S. Midwest for a few days now. The installation and setup on my iPhone were easy and completed without any problems. The product works very well with the Sync 3 version in my vehicle and its directions have been spot on. I did have one question about the product that is not answered online, so I used the “submit a request” feature on Sygic’s website to pose the question to the company. I was very pleasantly surprised to find a fully responsive reply in my email the following morning. My experience has been very satisfying all the way around.
  • It is a nice application

    By GerardoS31
The application is good and useful, something that should be improved is that it does not say, you can only see when one approaches a railroad, nor does it speak when one exceeds the speed limit. This happens when it is connected to the car's radio. It is better to listen than to see when one is driving. I use it in a honda car 2017.
  • Not worth buying

    By sneakersteve
This review is based on my use with CarPlay. Cons: -The map interface is no better than the 3 major free Nav apps, google maps, Waze or Apple maps. Maybe a little worse - Lane guidance is very unclear - Spoken direction does not include street name - No turn by turn list.(in other apps you can see the list on your phone screen) - Final destinations were totally wrong for me - No street or highway I’m presently on shown - Contact lookup for drive-to does not work. Only saw a handful of my 400 contacts - Search is very slow Pros: - Map movement response is quick. No lag - Maps are on-board In conclusion, unless you MUST have on-board maps this app is not worth the high cost and the value is not there. Especially since you can download off-line maps on google. I’ve been using this app for the trial period. See no justification for buying for 75 bucks.
  • App crashes

    By Ammocacher
Trying to connect to SYNC 3 and app crashes every time. Customer support contacted. UPDATE: contacted customer support and received response very quickly. Followed there direction and resolved problem quickly. Come to find out SYNC 3 had an update that did not push to the car automatically. Once SYNC 3 update was complete, app worked. Will update feedback again when I have more time using app with SYNC 3.
  • Wouldn’t recommend

    By teamkde
Was anxiously awaiting this app. First if you purchased the other app thinking it would work with CarPlay you will have to buy again. Next the voice navigation is horrible text to speech technology from 20yrs ago. Finally in CarPlay you can’t enter destinations because of the microphone feature doesn’t work even after allowing access and the keyboard is disabled for safety reasons. Don’t waste your money on this. Much anticipated and very disappointing. I’ve purchased Multiple Sygic apps in the past and this one is not up to the historical standards.
  • New down load

    By House Review
Ok - used Google, Mapquest and Apple maps. Using the Premium $$$ service So we we’ll see how this app companies to the others! • The down load was fast • The setup was simple • Lots of option and ability to customize - would like more voice / accent options - still the app has many useful languages • Heads Up display - nice option - will be using lost of night driving. • Traffic updates? in San Diego CA at 5PM on I-5 And shows no traffic or delays? Guess standing still not moving is not traffic delay? Not well defined as to in-app purchases - does $$$ plan have all options or are the add-on $ - $$ still needed as well? We will see!
  • Not ready for primetime and treat your customers better.

    By SK19981998
Configuration made on the app do not flow to the car infotainment. Sent a question to support - No response. Paid a lot of money to be treated so poorly. Tried to configure voice on my phone to hear street names - but when connected to my sync 3 car system only a standard voice is available, so no street names. Tried to configure the side bar to see my speed etc, but again when connected to the car none of my changes show. I don’t suppose money can be returned for an app.
  • Decent App pioneer compatibility

    By Stangin8193
I like the app, but trying to use with my pioneer touch screen is painful at times. Sometimes I just have to use on my phone because of the issues with freezing up or trying to navigate. Hoping developer and pioneer will team up to correct in the very near future.
