If you successfully downloaded the Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe, go to your Downloads folder on your computer or anywhere you ususally store downloaded files.

App Reviews

  • Don't get xfinity

Xfinity tv is horrible. I continue to have issues with sound not working for three days now. Xfinity representatives are ill trained and clueless and don't know how to fix the problem. After hours on the phone of trying to resolve the problem. There is still no resolve. It's a waist of money to pay for service that the does not work and representative are inept to handle. I am highly disappointed with my xfinity app. I am unable to watch the shows live from the app. I was told many different stories. One man said I can only use the app if I am using xfinity wifi, which is asinine. If I am paying for cable I should be able to get cable without being forced into buying another product. Not only that their was no notification about a change to a service I was able to access just yesterday. Another representative said that they would not be able to resolve the problem for 3 days which is absolutely unacceptable. If I am paying for a service. I should be able to use that service at all times and issues like this should be resolved in a timely manner. Calling and speaking to customer service was a waist of time. I highly doubt the people that I was communicating with knew what they were doing. DO NOT GET THE APP OR BUY THE CABLE SERVICE BECAUSE THE COMPANY DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THEIR SERVICE OR THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I have cable there’s only three tv in my household one does work it need a bulb, but they other two does my mom tv and my brother tv mine is broken and I have to wait too get another one...so in the main time I have to watch tv on the xfinity stream app, which is cool but you see on cable we have it with Netflix for free for a year as long as we pay the bill for the cable which is a plus but the problem with the Netflix you can’t watch it on the stream app (unless I missing something)(HELP)I did try looking for it nothing and I really need to catch up on my shows that I missed they have it were you can buy it but not in the app and I don’t have money to spend for every episode/season. So all in all I was trying to only use one app to watch all my show but it looks like I have to download more tv apps to watch a whole season of what I missed. Can you try and see if you can include that in the stream app I would be the happiest girl in the world(sorry for the spelling errors as you can see spelling is not my strong suit math is). Hope you can understand have a great day.
  • Awesome app

I do have to say after reading some of the reviews I wasn’t sure how this would work but wow. It is great. I can watch any show anywhere in my house on multiple devices. Even my kids almost silly kindles can run this and they can watch their crazy kid shows. Haven’t had any problems with the way this works at all. I have to say a lot of others seem not to understand or care how things actually work. They get upset if they can’t use it any way they choose. So here are some things I know and have found through simple research. Some things are in home only, not because Comcast is limiting your service. They are because that provider, NFL, espn, food network or whom ever has deemed it to be. And yes there are copyright protections built into the app so you can’t use your device to stream to another, even a projector or an Apple TV. I will continue to use this for my whole family as long as I have their service and will recommend it to everyone I know.
  • A little better. A little worse.

So let’s start with the good, I love the fact that I can skip 30 seconds at a time as well as tapping it multiple times to skip minutes at a time. This is much better than the delayed skip before the update. I also like the controls positioning now, that is also better. A few of the bad now. First I am very disappointed that I cannot set a recording to start from the app. Sometimes I see something is on and want to record it to watch it when I get home, BUT NOPE, you took that away. Also, since I am paying so much money can I get ALL my services in the app? I can’t even watch a huge amount of stuff “away from home”, btw.. if I’m home don’t you think I would be watching on my 70 INCH TELEVISION rather than a mobile device. The other thing I don’t like about the most recent update is that I can go to “last” when I’m switching between live tv and something recorded (I hate commercials so I watch recorded shows during live commercial breaks). Please continue to work on this, it is becoming more and more tempting to CUT THE CORD with all the the new options out there now for live television. Thanks.
  • Hate update

I hate the new update. It automatically stops the episode in the last five minutes and starts playing the next episode. Then it doesn’t say what episode you are on so you have to go back through what might be many seasons of a show to find the episode you were watching to be able to finish watching it. On some shows, there isn’t the “next episode” link to click so again you have to repeat the process listed above to try and find the next episode you want to play because it does not say which season or episode number you are currently watching. I’m also frustrated by how many shows don’t have the last episode or two of a season so I never get to see how the season ends, or I have to find another way to watch it. I never write reviews but I’m fed up. I have wanted to cancel my Comcast cable because the cost is ridiculously high and I’m having so many unresolved issues with the WiFi and cable boxes I’ve been getting. Up until now the only reason I didn’t cancel is because I liked using the app. Now I don’t even like the app. My decision to “cut the cable” is getting easier and easier.

I have been using the app on my iPad for several months now. It works great for me. Maybe an occasional buffering issue but I use it daily and have watched live TV on it as well as some previous days or weeks shows such as the Late night shows like Colbert, Kimmel, Fallon Rachel, Lawrence etc.I do wish it was available on my Roku TCL TV though or Fire Stick so that I can dump the cable box on some of my other TV’s in the house. But I guess they don’t want you to do that and keep you chained to the rental. Overall it has been glitch free and I like that I can watch next day or 2 or 3 day old shows that I wouldn’t watch otherwise. Truly on Demand is the way to go with watching programming. I’d love to cut the cord at my house with my wife and MIL hooked on the traditional cable remote and channels I have to keep the conventional way of CATV. They find the Cord cutting way to complicated to see there shows. So I bite the bullet and pay almost $200 per mo for my package.
  • Good but flaky at times

The idea of moving from room to room or device to device is a good one if well executed. My biggest issue with this app is when the app randomly begins fast forwarding in the middle of playback, or jumping back to an earlier part of a recording. Sometimes the app decides to skip ahead to real time when no buttons are pressed, sometimes with buttons disappearing and no way to stop it but to exit. I don’t know if this is due to the recording still being on or just weirdness with the controls and stream or buffer. Worse still is when the status bar shows the correct time and location in the recording but the audio and video have skipped back in time to an earlier part of the recording. I have tried to watch sporting events outside of real time and jumping ahead ruins the game. Lots of potential and there are quite a few good things about the app. If Comcast can fix the random jumping back and forth without the app being directed it would rate higher. Hoping for a future fix.
  • Discovered why I couldn’t download to app

At first, I thought there was a problem with the app. Even called customer service for help, but the approaches the rep tried/recommended did not help (refreshed the cable box; logged out of app then logged back in; deleted app and reinstalled it). Then, when I went to the Recordings screen of the app, I saw that it was 98% full. After I deleted some of the recorded programs, such that the red bar turned to green, I was able to download to the app within the Recordings section. Thinking the percentage full was the cause of the problem, I went back to the Saved For You screen of the app and tried tapped on a program. The program immediately started playing instead of giving the option “Watch,” “Recording Options,” and “Download.” So, it appears with the latest update of the app, programs can only be downloaded from the Recordings screen. Problem solved. Now, I hope they bring back the ability to set recordings from the app.
  • Just keeps getting worse

As many others have pointed out, it used to be a great app. A couple of years ago. Every update takes away more features and functionality. We are now to the point where you can no longer even delete a show you’re done watching with a swipe. You have to go back to the main menu, into the options, then delete. Just one more insult to injury in a long line of customer insults. The app was one of the things keeping me to Comcast’s ridiculous prices and horrendous customer service. Apparently they think that by having every person you speak with read from a script and assure you they will solve all your problems (even though you can tell from the first 30 seconds of conversation that person could not solve the simplest of your issues - but it will take a maddening hour of stupidity for them to get that), they have addressed their customer service issues. I can assure you that does not make up for the rudeness, lack of knowledge, outrageous prices, and lackluster performance of their products. Comcast has finally inspired me to cut the cord. Congrats.
  • It works well for me!

Xfinity is definitely not perfect, but I have found it to best of what’s out there. This app does a very good job of delivering Xfinity’s content to me. The one major aggravation is that you cannot watch all of the content you pay for from it outside of your home (as in, upon attempting to watch certain channels/networks, you get messages telling you you cannot watch them outside of your home). To remedy that, I have found you can just go directly to those networks and watch remotely using your Xfinity credentials...or something like that. So, that’s not a limitation of the app. I think it’s a request from certain content providers to disallow it. I HATE how much we all have to pay for cable. I DO like that I can effectively get that most of that content through apps like this. Nothing but thumbs up from me.
