Using Destiny Discover on your Windows computer is actually very easy but if you are new to this process, you will definitely need to pay attention to the steps listed below. This is because you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We will help you download and install Destiny Discover on your computer in 4 simple steps below:

1: Download an Andriod Software emulator for Windows

The importance of the emulator is that it emulates or immitates an android environment on your computer, making it super easy to install and run android apps from the comfort of your PC without buying a phone that runs android. Who says you cannot enjoy both worlds? To begin, you can download such an emulator app made by too top dogs in the space.
A. Nox App . OR
B. Bluestacks App .
Personally, I recommend the "B" option as Bluestacks is very popular so if you run into any trobles using it, you can find good solutions on Google or Bing (lol).

2: Now Install the Software Emulator on your Windows PC

If you successfully downloaded the Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe, go to your Downloads folder on your computer or anywhere you ususally store downloaded files.
Once you have find it, click it to install the application. It should start the installation process on your PC.

Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application.
If you do the above correctly, the Software will be successfully installed.

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and locate the search bar. Now type Destiny Discover in the search bar and hit Search. You will easily see the app. Click on Destiny Discover application icon. A window of Destiny Discover will open and it will display the app in your Emulator Software. App Reviews

  • It's pretty good but it's really slow

    By Colepey
It's a great app to pass time but most of that time Kids such as my self have to wait an unnecessary amount of time just it quicker and many others and I would probably give this app a good five star if you would make it faster or not I am a little geek overall it's a good little app just mend it a little
  • Revised.

Love the new look but app is too slow. Unable for students to use on iPads to search/place holds while in the library for a short while. NOT school wifi. Even on my phone it takes too long and times out many times a day! Ignore:nothing changed!!Once students check-out a book, it gets confusing on the next step. The should have an arrow to show download. Then it should show the book with a button to read. Also when the student first opens the app there is nothing to show to search. Book on the top left doesn't explain it. Also looking forward to the print function for notes (like on the desktop version). Looks like more updates are coming end of July.

This app performs poorly. Difficult for my students in a title I school to use. Loved destiny quest app this app is horrible. I it is much less user friendly. The Quest app was easy for even my first grade students to use on the iPads. This app times out, has less pictures and is to difficult for my students and my staff to use. Hate it!
  • The app won't even open

    By Lexalexlex25
When I go into the app to search for my school it won't even search. I can type in and select but it won't do anything. I was really disappointed and hoped to be able to use my online textbooks on my phone but I guess not.
  • Not good

This app does not work well. It’s design is not user-friendly, it doesn’t have a menu, and it works about 10% of the time. My family would like to read books on our devices but it’s virtually impossible to do so with this app. Disappointing.
  • Seriously though...

How about an update or something? App just spins and spins. On the rare chance you can open a book, it cashes out too often to read it. How can I promote this to my students? Buying ebooks and audio books from Follett is a waste if you can’t use them.
  • No longer supported??!!

    By Mygryffin
So first you get rid of Quest, but Discover was full of glitches. Then when Discover finally started working correctly last year, you get rid of the Discover app and make it web based? Nope, nope, nope. Please bring back the working Discover app!!
  • Where do I start

By How many people have mr handy
The app refused to open, and when it does, it shuts off your phone for 2 days. I've contacted support, but they put me on hold for an hour. Extremely disappointed! Will not recommend to anyone!!!!!! 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩🅱️😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😭😩😭😩😭😩😭😩😭😭😭😭😭😭😩😩😩😩😩😩😤
  • Does not even work /// No point

    By Ianwolf
The app redirects you to the website, but if you go back to the the app, it redirects you once again to destiny discover’s website. This is beyond frustrating. This app has no point.
  • Does not work

Is slow to load and often freezes. A recipe for disaster in an elementary classroom. Either the tech works or it doesn’t. There is no in between when it comes to the classroom.
