App Reviews

  • Quick, easy to use, great options

Loved it. I’m old school and am used to using a competitor’s platform because it’s what I’ve been using for years (old habits die hard). But I specifically wanted a Hello Kitty background, which the competitor didn’t offer at all. I found MANY Hello Kitty options on Punchbowl, which created a good challenge to have - which should I choose? It was super easy to import contacts and send out. Between the great design options and user friendliness of the app, I will definitely use again!!! 5 stars (plus)!
  • Awesome at keeping your guest list organized

At any given moment I was able to pull out my phone and say who was coming was not who have been invited and who had night and has been such a relief to always be ready with my guest list at all times. I gave it four stars instead of five stars only because the interface was a little challenging to adjust to. some of my invitations were failing to be sent and it didn’t always tell me why it was failing so that was a little frustrating but customer service was very helpful.
  • Nice invites BUT looks like SPAM

    By AmFranLem
The invites are nice BUT those I sent it to thought it was spam, so none of them wanted to open it. I had to tell them it wasn’t spam and in fact an invite. This to me is a problem because in this day and age with all the new tech spam no one will open an invite. I wish that we could create the invite and save it as a picture to send out to people through text message. I don’t really care if I have electronic RSVP counter. I would rather my guests see the invite and get a simple text back to me. Instead of being afraid to open it. For this reason I will delete it.
  • Perfect for Party Planning

I love ❤️ this app, it’s so easy for any event (especially party 🎉 planning ). I wasn’t sure this app was good, since almost all apps try to steal your information, but this one was totally good! I use Punchbowl for all my events, and sometimes make up excuses to try to use the app. I also like the tracking feature so you know how many people are coming, if there adults, children, infants 👶. So, I would recommend this app to all of my friends that like to plan parties 🎉.
  • Convenient

Any busy mom knows that convenience is important! Anything that makes my life easier, I’m all for it! THIS is genius! The invitations are beautiful & it allows for many options & customization. Anymore, even the kids have cellphones or iPads or tablets of some kind & my daughter was able to send her invitations straight to her friends without having to track them down at school or worry about who she missed handing out paper invitations to. I love this app!
  • Disappointing

Unfortunately, I sent out the invitations without first trying a test invitation. First, Punchbowl doesn’t provide a “what-to-expect” dry run through of what will happen when a guest receives the invitation. So, after I sent them, I had no idea what to expect or if they actually got sent. Luckily, there is a way to send another invite, although it wasn’t marked clearly. I had to dig. Once I sent it to my daughter, the birthday girl, I discovered that in order to RSVP, each person has to create an account! I never would have used Punchbowl if I had known that! The whole reason that I used Punchbowl was because it can set up multiple emails under each invitee, so that if one parent is out of town then the other parent can respond to the child’s invite. Great. But, then when you look at the invitation list, it counts up how many email address there are instead of the number of invitees! How un-useful. There is no invitation app that is a pleasure to use!
  • Amazing but a little time consuming!!

This was my first time using this app and the variety of invitations was amazing. I used a Masquerade design, for my Daughters party & couldn’t be happier. My only issue is once I imported my contacts to send via text, it took me hours to get them all to send. For some reason, when I would add one new person, invites that I thought were already sent, were sitting in a pending folder. Other than that, I love Punchbowl😊.
  • Soooo easy to use

I've been using this app for over a year. I paid for no advertising. It was the best thing for me. I didn't want my guests to have to see all the advertising ads. This site is great. I have sent invitations at least 7 times this year. And my guests love it too. It's super easy for them to respond back and the invites you have to choose from are very creative! Theirs nothing SHADY about it!!!!!! If you think that YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING!!!!!
  • Ok app but room for improvement

    By HomeSweetSold
Not as intuitive as you would think it should be. How can I simply edit a guest phone number? How can I simply invite just one additional guest without it sending to random other guest? There is probably a way to do these things but it’s not very obvious. Also, before it sends to all guest again it would be nice if it asked “are you sure you want to re-send invites to guest who have already responded?” These are simple improvements that can be made. Overall the app serves its purpose.
  • Great Ap but could be better

I love the design & most functionality but it bugs me you can’t just view your invite without sending it to yourself. Also it would be really nice if you could address the invite to a specific guest - like when using for a kids party you could address it to the specific child so adults know it’s not intended for all siblings to come. You can kinda get around this using the share link but it’s not as simple. But the designs are great and it’s a pretty sleek ap so I’m pleased!
