  • Seatgeek stole my money!

    By bryan alexander fuentes
I bought tickets for an NBA Clippers game in October 2017. I bought 4 tickets for my college friends that were coming into town to visit me and hang out in DTLA. I show up to the game and present our tickets via mobile app. The staples center indicated that my tickets were invalid. I went to the front office box and was informed that the tickets were “no good.” They told me to refer to seatgeek. I emailed and called seatgeek over a dozen times as I stood outside of staples center demanding an answer as to why my tickets were invalid. The next day I got a response from seatgeek saying that I was supposed to print the tickets and that I was informed about this. However, no where on the tickets, the receipt, or email confirmation did it indicate that I had to specifically print the tickets! I argued my case and I stated that I gained entry to many previous events using the mobile app without having to print the tickets. I consistently continued to reach out to seatgeek but they offered no help! I called my credit card company to file a hold on the charge. 3 months later my bank could not reimburse me the money because seatgeek pled that I was trying create “fraud.” I was so upset and disappointment in seatgeek! What liars! Seatgeek literally stole close to $400 from me! I hate seatgeek! Never use them! Thiefs! Seatgeek is a shameful company for stealing my money!
  • Never will use again.

Yesterday I bought four tickets to a Chicago cubs games while I was driving into Chicago, after I order my tickets I get a call confirming my purchase asking me if I realized the game was in Chicago and asking if I was even there. I understand confirming the purchase but after I answer all their questions, to then be asked insulting questions like “do you know the game is in Chicago?” Its annoying, but after that ridiculous conversation the lady told me my confirmation email would be sent shortly. when I was pulling into Chicago almost to Wrigley I get an email saying my order had been cancelled because the tickets had already been sold. This was frustrating to say the least and I was about to purchase more tickets with this app but before that I glanced at the comments and realized seat geek being incompetent seems to be a reoccurring theme. I then went back to my stub hub app that is an all around better app, and apparently better service. I bought my tickets and immediately received the tickets on my phone. I guess seat geek could push this experience on a third party but that’s not a good excuse to do business with a company like that. My advice to anyone looking for an app to buy tickets go to stub hub, it’s much better.
  • Unreliable, not trusted

    By Crazy Excalibur
I’ve always used StubHub and after listening to Coach Billick sponsor them on a radio show I decided to give them a try. Surprisingly some of their tickets were a few bucks cheaper so I purchased them. Next day I got an email that the tickets were no longer available. Ok, things happen, I bought another set of tickets for the same game. Next day, another email that tickets were not available. I tried again, completely different location of the stadium, same result. 3 different times, 3 different emails telling me tickets were not available the next day. Why are they available to buy on the site if they’re really not available, or is this an issue with the site. Either way, I went back to StubHub and bought my tickets for the same game with no issue. I will never use this app/service ever again. I’ve been using StubHub for a long time with no problem, but decided to give SeatGeek a try based on hearing an Advertisement and seeing tickets slightly cheaper, what a mistake. This is not worth the headache, when it comes to tickets you want a reliable service, this isn’t it.
  • Best Ticket App I’ve used

    By cowboys and penguins fan
Ive always skeptical buying tickets online since paper tickets slowly stopped being a thing. I’ve used NFL ticket exchange, Ticketmaster, stubhub, and SeatGeek for me has been the best option for a few reasons. SeatGeek has always had the lower price options when I compare the similar seats to the other ticket companies. Also, SeatGeek has lots of promo codes that get you $20 off your purchase which I use every time, and that ends up saving on the “fees” part that always gets added on. I’ve used seatgeek to buy nfl, nhl, and nhl playoff tickets. They’ve always had great on the phone customer service, and the receipt always gets emailed within the hour and the tickets show up on the app within the day. I trust them with my money and tickets more than any other company I’ve used and I hope this review helps others. Jesus loves you :)
  • Didn’t Even Get to Go to the Game

    By Facebooker04
I purchased very expensive tickets for a game. Tickets were confirmed within a few hours. I realized the morning of the game that I had never been sent the tickets. I had to call twice before actually receiving them on my phone. In the app it was the correct date, game, section, row, and seats that I purchased but when opening the actual tickets, they were tickets from a previous game a month before the date. I was literally standing at the gate to get into the game 45 minutes before the game with 7 of my family members waiting with me and excited about our row 1 seats to a ranked football team’s game. I called and emailed for the next 45 minutes to only be told that they couldn’t get ahold of the seller and they would refund my money. Great. Awesome. Thanks for the return. But by that time, there were no tickets left with 7 seats together. What a giant waste of time and money to get to the game (we live 3 hours away and had to stay in a hotel). It was a nightmare. We will never use Seat Geek again and do not trust them.
  • Terrible Delivery and Even Worse Customer Service

    By Addicted to FZ
I purchased two tickets for the Denver Nuggets after a friend said he found a good price on a place called SeatGeek. I am used to buying from StubHub, but I thought I'd give them a try. That was a mistake. I bought the tickets the morning of the game (it started at 7pm) and when we arrived there I found that the tickets still had not been delivered. We had to wait in line for customer service for so long that we missed the entire first quarter. Also I ended up having to pay an extra $5 PER ticket to print them because this website had not delivered anything. So not only did I pay this business a $6 fee to "deliver" the tickets and not get anything delivered, but I also paid an extra $10 for my tickets. The most frustrating part about this all is SeatGeek refused to refund me their delivery fee or the fee I had to pay to reprint the tickets. Moral of the story: stick with StubHub. Much better system that actually delivers and has good customer service in the rare event that something goes wrong.
  • Terrible customer service

    By idontlikeseatgerk
If something goes wrong with ur tickets Seat Geek will tell you you’re SOL. The concert I was going to was rescheduled for another day and I found out 5days before. I asked Seat Geek for a refund but they told me to seek my tickets on their website instead. I had hard tickets (mailed paper tickets)so they also failed to tell me you can only sell hard tickets about 8 days in advance of the concert. I started an email chain with seat geek customer service that led me to call other ticket venues that were selling the tickets. Those Venues who were offering refunds said I could only get a refund through Seat Geek. They also said I again couldn’t sell my hard tickets so late. I then called Seat Geek by phone and they continued to tell me to ask other venues to by my tickets. They then told merger would give me an answer about a refund the day before the new day of the concert. They failed to reply. All u should know is that the customer service is terrible and Ticketmaster or Stub hub (2 of the venues Seat Geek refereed me to)are better options
  • Very Awful Service

    By Bryanna Peck
I am very upset that I was never notified that my concert was canceled in the first place. Secondly I was very upset when asked for a credit towards SeatGeek tickets I would be buying in the very near future I was told no. Just because the dates was rescheduled. I was unable to use my tickets due to a very severe weather storm warning. I will not be using SeatGeek any longer which is sad because I am a very reoccurring customer. I get many promo codes from YouTubers that I watch and they say how awesome SeatGeek is when it is definitely not. Especially when they don’t even hesitate to inform you that your concert has been canceled. I live two hours from the concert venue, took time off work to get all the way out there to find out the dates had been resceduled. I am very upset, disappointed and heart broken especially because I didn’t get to see my absolutely favorite artist perform; mind you this all also happened the day of my birthday. Thank you SeatGeek for ruining my birthday.
  • Worst Customer Service Ever!

    By unsatasfiedseatgeekcustomer
(Would’ve left no stars if I could’ve) I bought tickets for an event, the event got rained out and rescheduled. Seat Geek gave me no updates, no emails on the event, when it was rescheduled I asked for a refund because the new date would not work with my schedule. Customer service was absolutely terrible, when explaining the situation the guy kept interrupting me with “uhuh” without even listening to what I was saying, and answering with his response that he couldn’t refund it, and that because “the venue” isn’t issuing refunds neither are we. I left an email, got no response, I called customer service one time, she said she would call me back and didn’t, I called back a second time and the guy couldn’t get me connected with the supervisor after waiting 20 minutes on the phone, I honestly will NEVER use this app again. And if I would’ve read the reviews before downloading I would’ve went to one of the competitor. Ticket master is refunding Idk why seat geek won’t.

I have never had an experience quite like I’ve had with Seat Geek! Charged my card $543 and then cancelled my order because the tickets they charged me for were no longer available. I asked when I would get my money back and their only advice was for me to call my bank and handle it myself (on a 3 day weekend) the money on my account was held and is still pending. No offers of a discount or fixing the issue. The person handling my case told me if I wanted a discount to refer a friend to get money off! Wow! Sure...I’ll get right on that! I will NEVER use this service again! How do you charge someone for tickets before you even know if you have them! I’ve never had that happen on any other resale sites and we purchase concert tickets often. They were not concerned about my business what so ever. The lady who handled my case was sarcastic and rude. Even said she’d watch for my friend referrals to come through! Why on earth would I refer a friend?? Just WOW!
