  • Overall, very convenient!

This app has been a fantastic solution to the long lines that seem to always be at our Chick Fil A (I live in a small Texas college town, and Chick Fil A is everyone's go to spot). And I don't mean to say the long lines are terrible, because the workers are lightning fast when it comes to taking care of everyone, but it's nice when I'm in a rush or on my way to somewhere, and I need a quick meal, all I have to do is click on my favorite meal (which the app has saved), walk in, wait a minute or two, and walk out with freshly made food without having to wait in a line or swipe a card. It's even faster than their drive thru! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it times out and glitches a bit when handling a large order. We had an internship meeting and took everyone's order (about 8 people total), and when I was entering it into the app, after only a few orders had been placed, it would shut down, and I'd have to start all over again. After a couple times of it happening, I finally learned to go back and forth between placing the order and looking at the total in the app to make sure it was staying updated, so when the app would close out, my order would be saved and I could continue putting it in. It ended up being a bit of a hassle, and took more time than it should, but I still think overall, this app is a great and helpful tool. I think if that small issue were to be fixed, this app would be top notch!
  • The sandwich(es) that got away

We love this place and will still go back. I've tried to order through the mobile app the last few times and when I get to the parking lot, the app just goes into this deep dark Abyss and after about 5 minutes, it gives me an error pop-up and there's technical difficulties. When I place an order through the app it is normally a $50-$60 order, so I would consider it a large order. The last 3 times (including last night) I have found that they forgot to put a sandwich in the bag that was included on the receipt. Since the order was quite large, instead of taking out all of the bags out of the big bag that everything is in, I tend to be a little trusting that everything is correct. This has happened the last 3 times, which is making me a little weary to place larger orders. I place them Through the app because there are 6 people with different tastes and it is suppose to be convenient....however if the app doesn't work when I pull into the parking lot and if they keep forgetting food that was ordered, then I will either go inside to order and have them check my stuff with 25 other people waiting behind me. I didn't call to complain, because for one...that is not me...and second ... I'm not driving back just to get the missing sandwich. I luckily order soup because it's normally me that goes without the sandwich so at least I have the soup. Hopefully this is not a trend. That will make me sad because we really do live this place.
  • need to have mobile order pickup shelf

The app itself is okay. I’ve dealt with a few glitches here and there, but nothing too concerning. My issue isn’t so much with the app, but with the whole mobile order setup. There needs to be a standardized way that mobile orders are handled between all CFA stores. In some stores, there seems to be an employee who is watching the pick-up line and making sure that customers who stand there are getting taken care of. In other stores, not so much. I often press the “I’m here” about 5 minutes before I actually get there because I don’t know how busy the store is and I don’t want to chance them being really behind. I’ve waited at the pick-up line, watching other customers in the normal line get waited on left and right, with new people walking in, for minutes, while I’m sitting there looking at my mobile order sitting behind the counter. Employees walk by me, cleaning and whatnot, and no one pays me any attention until I have to interrupt them and ask for my food (which makes me feel very rude but...when I’ve been waiting 5 minutes to no avail, I don’t really see what other option I have). It would be SO much easier to just install a mobile order shelf (hello, Panera) than whatever is currently going on. Also, you should be able to order jalapeño salsa from the app - that stuff is a NECESSITY.
  • time saving and life saving!!!!

I work at the mall in a big town where traffic is heavy and a chick-fil-a just opened 0.7 miles down the road, which is perfect considering I only have 30 minutes to grab lunch and get clocked back in. This app has a feature called curb side where I can skip the long line and pre order and pay for my food in the app (which remembers my favorites and most frequent orders) so I can pull up in an open park space and press one button saying I’m here to pick up my food and someone brings my food to my car within seconds! It makes ordering less of a hassle! Skip the lines and download the app to save a ton of time! They even send you free treats for using the app like a free medium waffle fry or ice cream just for being a faithful customer! Nothing is better!! The app is SO easy to use and has pictures for every item so it makes ordering so easy! I can even be walking to my car and making my order because I just look at the picture! No small print or reading necessary! You can even add small details like adding lemon to your sweet tea or extra salt or salad dressing all in the app! It’s made my lunch breaks less rushed, enjoyable, and hassle free! :)
  • Late for work now

Placed a mobile order for curbside pick up. I received notice that it was ready and on it's way out while pulling into the parking lot. I call them to tell them I'm right in front after not see anyone for 5 minutes. They lady was nice and said she check on my order and send someone right out. Waited over ten minutes still no one has come. I call again and asked if she needed my order number because I've been waiting for over ten minutes. She apologizes and said that someone did go out with my order maybe they went to the wrong car and she'll send someone out right now. I guess a manager came out with my now super cold order and gift cards for a couple of free sandwiches. At this point I'm late going back to work from lunch. A 5 minute drive there and a 5 minute drive back during a 30 minute lunch so I can leave early enough to not be in traffic for 2 hours when I get off has now turned into 45 minutes and no lunch break for me. The whole reason I ordered ahead and requested curbside became a useless disaster. I'm so sad that this happened. They're normally super on point when I do a mobile order. I feel as though there is some serious disorganization and communication happening there.
  • Really Need Some Pointers from Panera

The app is okay. I’ve used better food apps. Panera for one. What I find frustrating is that when you forget to scan a receipt you can only input one per day on their website. And they state “this feature is not intended as a primary method of earning progress” “Approved requests apply to a limited number of transactions.” Really?? I feel like I’m a child being reprimanded for forgetting my receipt. I paid for the food! I can’t claim something I paid for as many times as I need to?? Panera has it down. They allow you to enter as many as you need to because if you have a receipt and you paid for it then who cares how many you enter. By the way, I’m not trying to get away with a lot of receipts. I just ordered a meal (1 receipt) and went back for dessert (2 receipts). Just don’t understand greedy companies who will do anything to make sure you don’t get anything special. Because God forbid you’d get a free ice cream cone. 😡 Not to mention how many times lately Chick-fil-a has screwed up our orders. I’m sure they will not take notice and really don’t care because we’ll as long as they’re making money… 😡 Also, the app doesn’t work half the time. Trying to reset my password and it never sent me the reset email. I had to sign up with a new email.
  • Service is Amazing

Chick-fil-A is always my first go to. The service is always amazing - Second to none! I have not experienced this type of service at any other fast food environment. The food is simply the best. My only suggestion is bringing back the chicken salad sandwich-so many of us miss it! All of the Chick-fil-A staff are absolutely wonderful. Today I drove a little bit farther to the celebrate Virginia location. The smiles and excitement from the staff because they just launched mobile ordering was wonderful. Their enthusiasm and incredible service makes it one of my favorite locations. Went to Chick-fil-A if the Greengate center in Greensburg PA. No matter what Chick-fil-A go to the service it's always amazing. The staff is so friendly and the food as always. Thank you Greengate Chick-Fil-A! great job. Completed mobile order at Central Park Chick-fil-A. Not too many cars in the drive-through, however, it took longer than usual because most folks had very large orders. I didn't mind at all because the staff is just so nice. Good job Central Park Chick-fil-A.
  • Good App Poor Experience @ Restaurant

Overall it's a great app. Customization of orders are limited. If want lettuce and no tomatoes, you can only do that with the original sandwich while you're not able to remove it from the deluxe version. At Fairfax Circle, a normally very busy location in my experience, they do not have dedicated parking for mobile orders, but insist that mobile orders are picked up thru walk-in vice drive thru. The app includes a notification that you're at the restaurant with the caveat it is to provide the freshest food. Sitting out in the parking lot until there's a space to park is not going to keep the food fresh. They should be able to either take my order number at the drive thru and enter it so I am in the sequence or it's an option in the app to notify them the customer is in the drive thru queue. Or reserve a space for pick up orders like every other restaurant in the country pretty much does for their mobile orders. The customer isn't going to know the parking lot is full before they arrive and the mobile order is to place your order before you even arrive at the restaurant with your custom choices.
  • I want to love the app like I love Chick Fil A

This app is mediocre at best. I got a Facebook notification about a free sandwich if I purchased online today. Ordering chicken minis online from home worked to begin with but that was where the success ended. I left home and immediately couldn’t access my order to “pull up and let them know” I was at the restaurant. I have not once ever, despite re-downloading the app at least 3 times, been able to view orders or treats without being on wifi (typically mine at home). I have an iPhone 8+, have the latest version of ios, and sufficient memory on my phone for the app. But I get the message that the app “isn’t connected to the internet”—whaaa? I live in a town of 200,000 on a major highway with LTE everywhere. So, to solve my problem I just pulled up to the drive thru and told them I had an online order. The girl gave me my food but gave me no free sandwich or comparable breakfast item. I thought the free item might come as a notification on the app but nope, not there, either. A disappointment altogether...Please get the glitches fixed on this app once and for all.
  • Good overall but should allow Dine In option for mobile orders

I really like the app. I have a few wishes for the app and rewards program. First, I wish we could exchange rewards earned for other equivalent food/drink options. Often, I earn a breakfast biscuit and never use them, because I don’t like biscuits. I wish it would just allow you to get a monetary credit on your order in the amount of the retail price of the freebie offered. I also wish they wouldn’t expire so quickly, but I don’t foresee them giving any consideration to that. Most importantly, I think mobile orders should allow the customer to choose not only between Carry-out and Drive-thru but also Dine-in. It seems odd to me that you can order for carry-out but not feel welcome to eat in the restaurant if you so choose. Tried to order this morning (5/07) and the app crashed several times and would never submit the order. So I had to order the old way and wait during morning rush hour. Usually the app works well, but this morning, it wouldn’t allow me to submit my order despite 5-6 attempts.
