    This app used to be a five star piece of technology. Recently, they’ve made it to where I can’t see who is cooking my food. I liked this. Besides the obvious argument for quality control this feature provides, it also let me know when Facundo was cooking my pizza. At my local Dominos in Jacksonville, my pizza chef is 90% of the time named Facundo. This dude takes pride in his work. I can tell. His pizzas are amazing pieces of work. Pepperonis perfectly space around the pizza; crust always exceptionally consistent in both diameter and doneness. Facundo could be a true example for any Dominos employees, but I believe most don’t care enough to have an example to look up to (based on the 10% of my orders that weren’t cooked by Facundo). Anyway, bring this feature back because whenever Facundo was my cook I would thank him for making my dinner. I always tell my friends that if I open a pizza parlor one day, the first thing I’m going to do is walk in there and poach him off of Dominos’ hands and make him my head chef. Anyway. I hope this review makes it back to him somehow. I’d be more specific of the location he works, but I feel that’s a violation of his privacy. If you ever read this, Facundo, you’re the man. ‘Thank you for making my dinner.’ A million times. So long <3
  • This app is missing ‘an instructions for this order’ box...🍕

    My family is very hard to order for on this app because we all like extra this or extra that....and minus this and minus that....So, when I use an app to order food on, I’d like to see either an option on every ingredient to add extra or take it off completely. Or even an empty box at the very end of the order, before checkout, saying something like ‘special instructions on this order?’ There’s one of those for delivery instructions so how about one for the FOOD? After all it’s the MAIN REASON we’re using your app, right?! So let’s get it right. And what about those people with food allergies to certain ingredients? I can’t eat mayonnaise for instance and I ordered the Italian sandwich for the first time. All other places that have the Italian Sandwich on their menus DO USE MAYONNAISE but seeing I didn’t see that as an ingredient and because I don’t have any place on the app where I can write down special instructions for this order....I’m praying it doesn’t have mayonnaise at all! However all & all, I found this app very good & easy to navigate. I only have that one complaint.   • Total GARBAGE tracker and accountability

    Although our orders are generally simple enough that half a pie with plus x or minus y is great, the tracker is COMPLETE garbage. The tracker reports someone started preparing the order before the transaction showed as completed then 20 minutes later reported it as checked and on it's way from the shop less than 2 miles from my house and then it takes an hour to get delivered. When I call the shop to ask about my delivery they say they are very busy and that I have to call corporate that they have nothing to do with the app. I ask for the manager and get the same response and he suggests I call back to talk to the owner. I give them the number and say for the owner to call me. 25-hours later, no call despite the fact the owner was due in an hour. Neither the driver Julio (who didn't give us our sauce), the guy who first took my call and didn't ask me to hold but walked away for someone else to take the call while I was speaking, Carlos who then pawned me off on the manager Ilaquil (not sure if spelling but was pronounced ee-lah-keeihl), nor Isa (apparently a man's name not short for a woman: Isabel) cared enough to offer me any explanation or compensation even though this is the third consecutive time this has happened. I won't be burned again. IF I order from them I'll pick up and they won't get a delivery fee and/or tip although they clearly couldn't care less :-/

    I’ll tell you how; You want a delivery driver that’s willing to battle the unstable elements of blistering winds and sheer cold late at night against terrible drivers that impede their journey to deliver said treasure politely and elegantly at your door without breaking so much as a sweat to save your relationship when your significant other complains there’s nothing to eat since you couldn’t get the groceries and all the stores are closed? Yes you do. You DO want the blessings of humanity to ring your doorbell and support your relationship like Atlas holds up the world on his rippling shoulders all the while enjoying the very pizza you ordered in a cozy warm living room while the champions that brought upon a new form of nirvana accept your shillings and tip their cap looking over their shoulder dramatically in the night like Ryan Gosling in ‘Drive’; KNOWING FULL WELL that they are the real heroes and live a life of danger and unprecedented hazards that live on the edge like a 1970s action flick with unnecessary explosions because not all heroes wear capes but all heroes have a uniforms. I PROPOSE A TOAST! TO THE TRUE CHAMPIONS OF FLAVOR ! HUZZAH BRAVE WINNERS! HUZZAH!! - A pleased Customer

    My last two deliveries was absolutely horrible. The app would say this person has left the store at this time but I wouldn’t get My pizzas until an hour later when it’s in between warm and cold. Three months ago was the worst where it took them 3 hours to get my pizzas delivered in two separate deliveries...I don’t know why I couldn’t get them in one delivery when I only put in one order. On that note one of the pizzas was wrong. I complained only to feel like I was being shrugged off to an excuse of “ we’re really busy on saturdays”. If that is so then hire some more people to work Saturday’s and give me my pizza in a timely manner! On top of that not all pizzas are consistent with one another in taste and quality. The first time I had break sticks here, it was absolutely amazing! Then the last two times it was mediocre so I never get them anymore. Sometimes there’s just enough sauce which is amazing and then other times the sauce is overflowing the pizza as if I ordered extra extra sauce and then there are times where I have to question myself whether or not they forgot the sauce.

    We’ve lived in the Lent’s area of Portland Oregon for the better part of about 40 years now. We’ve ordered Dominos about once a month for the majority of the past about 10 years. Our home store is the one near Eastport Plaza. Until recently there’s always seemed to have been something wrong with our order; wrong order, wrong toppings, items missing (like bread bites or soda.) we’re ordering again tonight because the last couple of months we’ve had incredibly great experiences! Nothing has been wrong and everything has been even better great! (I should also mention this is not only for delivery, but occasional carry out as well) Not sure if there’s a new manager, or a different crew (I do notice there’s usually someone training on something, so I’m guessing there may be a bit of quick turnover as is the case with most fast food type stores) Anyway! Whosever running things for the better there please keep on doing what you’re doing because it’s definitely working! Thanks
  • Little confusing finishing order....

    I almost always use the large carry out 3 topping coupon and as I’m finished there is no “continue to checkout” but rather this “Add to Coupon” link which doesn’t really indicate I’m “done” with my order and ready to pay? I search around, tapping on my order, tapping but worried I could undo a pizza I spent 5min building with other people eating it. Just feel that part of ordering process a little unclear. I will also add I have a new iPhone 8 Plus running iOS 11.2.1 and while I usually “enter as guest” and skip creating a profile, I had to fill in all parts: name, email, phone and not sure if that was because it was first time using app on new phone? I checked and I had no “keychain” for a profile or any reference to my DOMINO’S app to draw upon to fill in the info, but I’m HOPING being a new phone, despite being created using the backup from my previous iPhone 6 Plus, it allows me to auto fill this info next time as it was unexpected I wasn’t able to use some “contact” info to fill in these areas w/o doing by hand.

    Now as I'm sure many of us know, Dominos used to have a rap for being "cheap and inauthentic" pizza. As someone who orders Dominos a lot, I agree, it was definitely nothing compared to now. In my past 12 orders, I have received extremely great customer service, expedition of delivery, great deals, and AMAZING food. I regularly tell people to order from them more, no matter what their opinion of what their last experience might've been. Dominos to me, is a leader and example of how a business should progress in the 21st century. Everything that Dominos has done in the recent decade has been a groundbreaking improvement for the company. I only order from Dominos and will continue to until the day I die. I love you Dominos. Thank-you. Side note: the app is awesome. They keep you 100% updated the entire way through the order and very happy, friendly reminders from the employees when they're on their way and outside. Update: I've probably made around 40-50 orders in the past year using the app. Absolutely still the best way to get the best pizza!

    We are here on vacation and my grandkids wanted pizza. So I looked up the number to Dominos and I was moved 3 times to 2 different stores. I finally was upset after being moved around for 45 minutes. Spoke to a VERT RUDE worker who called herself a manager named Jessica. If she worked for me I would have to let her go as she didn’t care if I got pizza for my family. I then ask for her manager and was told very worker there was a manager except drivers. I was very upset because she told me she couldn’t and wouldn’t help me place my order. I needed to order online so they would know who’s store delivers to the hotel we are staying at. I own a business for 31 years and is a delivery company I would never speak or allow any of my workers to speak to my customers the way Jessica spoke to me. I will call her owner of that store tomorrow and have a few words with Manny as she told me that was her manager. I love the app so I never have to deal with a RUDE PERSON LIKE JESSICA AGAIN WHEN I AM ORDERING MY PIZZA.

    We ordered 2 pies (always thin crust) and as usual they were delivered promptly. After the delivery person left we noticed that one of the pies wasn’t the right crust (wasn’t thin crust) We called and they read the order back saying that only one of them was ordered with thin crust. We checked the app that we ordered it on and sure enough, THEY were correct. In spite of it being our mistake (we forgot to add thin crust) they immediately put the manager on the phone and he told us “no problem, we will send another pizza out with thin crust at no charge!!” We told him that it was ok and not to go to any trouble... we will eat the pie because it was our mistake. He said “No, it’s no problem I see here in your history that you always get thin crust and are loyal customers, so keep the pizza that was sent and the thin crust is on the way” We were happily surprised and grateful! Way to go Domino’s! Thank you! That is customer service at its best!👍👍
