Using Adobe Connect on your Windows computer is actually very easy but if you are new to this process, you will definitely need to pay attention to the steps listed below. This is because you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We will help you download and install Adobe Connect on your computer in 4 simple steps below:

1: Download an Andriod Software emulator for Windows

The importance of the emulator is that it emulates or immitates an android environment on your computer, making it super easy to install and run android apps from the comfort of your PC without buying a phone that runs android. Who says you cannot enjoy both worlds? To begin, you can download such an emulator app made by too top dogs in the space.
A. Nox App . OR
B. Bluestacks App .
Personally, I recommend the "B" option as Bluestacks is very popular so if you run into any trobles using it, you can find good solutions on Google or Bing (lol).

2: Now Install the Software Emulator on your Windows PC

If you successfully downloaded the Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe, go to your Downloads folder on your computer or anywhere you ususally store downloaded files.
Once you have find it, click it to install the application. It should start the installation process on your PC.
Click Next to accept the EULA License agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application.
If you do the above correctly, the Software will be successfully installed.

3: How to Use Adobe Connect for Windows PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and locate the search bar. Now type Adobe Connect in the search bar and hit Search. You will easily see the app. Click on Adobe Connect application icon. A window of Adobe Connect will open and it will display the app in your Emulator Software. Hit the Install button and your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
Next, you will see the "All Apps" icon.
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Adobe Connect icon. Click on it and start using the application.

App Reviews

  • Works for me every time

I use this app for work and school. I even host meetings using my iPad Pro. No problems. Just make sure you have the link for the meeting room. Only complaint is with iOS now able to show video in a smaller screen on iPads, Adobe SHOULD recode this app to either do that function or minimize it at least so you can look something up in safari, find a document or otherwise multitask while using the app. The audio should continue even after hitting the home button. Keep it open until the app is closed.
  • Adobe, so predictably bad

First, know that you CAN get this to work on an iPad. The trick is to chase down the meeting URL (try the link in your calendar or on the webinar description page), copy, then paste in the meeting field within this sorry excuse for an app. Second, select Guest, give yourself a name (I entered only a first name), and join. Wth that out of the way, Adobe, try getting some true coders of professional caliber. Better yet, call the folks behind GoToWebinar, find out how to provide a fuss free webinar-attend app, and pay them. Cuz you sure as can't figure it out on your own. I haven't been near an Adobe (or Microsoft) product since I jumped the Windows ship during Vista days. This intense irritant simply validates that abandonment.
  • Works for me!

I don't understand why everyone else is having such a hard time with this app! I needed it for school and was hesitant to try it because of all the negative reviews, but I'm glad I did anyway! I have an iPhone 5 and it worked PERFECTLY for me, and I didn't have to download any other adobe or anything to use it either! No problems whatever! Nada!
  • Total garbage- does not work!!

We missed a critical meeting because of the complete failure of this product. It simply does not work. AND try calling Adobe support to help login.... you get a sales pitch for a Florida vacation instead of support to assist. The worst experience I ever had. Adobe has become one of the worst companies in the US for “support”. Have used GoToMeeting and other options and they almost always work immediately- have for many years. Adobe needs to stick with Photoshop and Illustrator. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT! Read other reviews and see it is a complete failure. Total frustration.
  • Upgrades wipe out my meeting history

The app works on my iPad fairly well. However my chief complaint is that when ever an upgrade is pushed I lose the meetings I have in my history. Small pain - but still a pain. I have weekly and bi-weekly meeting. When I am running late then I have to search for the url and type it in again and again, It should be possible to push an update without losing my history.
  • Fail : Does not work on iPhone

Tried to watch my class recording using safari but I can't because I need the add in. Since the add in won't download on iOS, i tried the app. The app will ask for the web address of the recording. Fine until it does the dumbest thing which is to go to safari to play the recording. But it can't because I don't have the add in.... IDIOTIC. I feel like Adobe is playing a joke on everyone because a high school kid could have identified this issue and NOT RELEASED THIS SOFTWARE. who approves these things?
  • Works, just not very well.

Works, just not very well. You have to go to the meeting in the browser and then navigate via the browser. Does not say this anywhere in the app. I had to look through the app reviews to figure it out. Additionally, I declined a call during a meeting and the audio cut out and I could bit bring it back. It is a buggy app and probably best saved as a last resort.
  • Can’t type in the meeting link or my name!

I was using this completely fine with my iPhone 6 but once I upgraded to my iPhone X I can’t type anything! No keypad comes up for me to either type in the the link to the meeting or type in my name. I really need Adobe to fix this issue so that I can attend all my online class meetings. I am very busy during my scheduled meetings each week so this is more than a small inconvenience. This makes the app unusable for me. I will come back and update my review once this is fixed.
  • Need to Reboot iPhone X to close app

While this app works for my company’s training sessions, I would not recommend it for other companies or individuals because it has a fatal flaw. Specifically you can’t close the app or toggle to another app from this one. Even if you log out, you are still stuck with the app on your screen until the call is over or you reboot your phone. In all practicality, you have to reboot the phone to exit. Go to Webex or one of the other enterprise apps and vendors
  • Works, only as a last resort.

I use adobe connect for online classes, and this app is glitchy as heck. For one thing, when a host puts up a poll box, it is completely non functional on the mobile app. It takes forever to enter the meeting room, and lags out if you use the chat box a lot. Auto correct is a nightmare in Latin class, but that is apple’s fault. 2/5 stars due to glitches, only download if you have to.
