Using Tapingo on your Windows computer is actually very easy but if you are new to this process, you will definitely need to pay attention to the steps listed below. 1: Download an Andriod Software emulator for Windows

2: Now Install the Software Emulator on your Windows PC

If you successfully downloaded the Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe, go to your Downloads folder on your computer or anywhere you ususally store downloaded files.
Once you have find it, click it to install the application. It should start the installation process on your PC.
Click Next to accept the EULA License agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application.
If you do the above correctly, the Software will be successfully installed.


3: How to Use Tapingo for Windows PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and locate the search bar. Now type Tapingo in the search bar and hit Search. You will easily see the app. Click on Tapingo application icon. A window of Tapingo will open and it will display the app in your Emulator Software. Hit the Install button and your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
Next, you will see the "All Apps" icon.
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Tapingo icon. Click on it and start using the application.

  • Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever seen

    After waiting an hour and forty minutes for my food which was quoted at an hour for delivery, I received food so cold I couldn’t eat it. I also received the wrong drink, and no straw. Obviously displeased with the service, I filed a complaint about the bad service. The driver could have at least called to inform me they didn’t have my drink option, but instead they chose a drink a random. Tapingo doesn’t allow you to tip after the fact either if you’re using a card- it only allows pre-tips. I waited for weeks for an email response to my initial complaint, and I emailed them again. They finally replied about a week later and just said “thanks for the feedback”. Did not offer a refund or anything. So I emailed again asking for a refund, because I didn’t even get to eat the food. Weeks later, still no reply. I email again and finally receive a response, and they gave me $8 in credits on Tapingo, only replacing half the money I spent on the first order. When I emailed to ask why I was only receiving half credit back, they ignored my email. Again. Tapingo pick-up is fine, I’ve never had a single issue with that. Delivery and customer service however- completely awful.

    Tapingo, specifically the Raleigh one, is just unbelievably terrible. I have stuck it out with them for almost 2 years in hopes that the continuing issues would change or be fixed. But to no avail. The delivery time changes without you even knowing. It typically takes over an 1 1/2 for food to be assigned to a driver, and then arrive. Almost every single order I have placed in the last 2 years has been wrong. Either an item is missing, or the order has something that I explicitly stated I did not want. As a delivery service, they should be mindful to double check what is and is not being given based on the comments made through THEIR app. To top it all off, when you give feedback to the support chat, they are always kind but never offer a real solution to the problems. They always give you $2 or $3 delivery credit and call it a day. How do you expect to be successful if you cannot work on improving your issues? Today is the final straw for me. I would much rather pay ridiculous delivery fees from competing services than deal with Tapingo’s inefficiency.

    I ordered food on this app to be delivered and the first and only notification I get from Tapingo is that there would be a delay and I should contact the courier for updates which I tried to do—I both requested updates and clicked contact courier. The app would not let me contact him. So after an hour and 15 minutes it says order unclaimed and looks as though it started the process over. I go to cancel order, confused and frustrated and then I get told off by customer support that the courier came and tried to contact me. I was not contacted in anyway by the courier. I received 0 calls, 0 text messages, and don’t think that I am going to get my money back. For all I know my “courier” could’ve never made it to my apartment and just received a free meal. The customer service also went to go look into whether or not the courier contacted me and never ended up giving me an update. If I had the money to do it I would sue this company for their terrible app/theft/lying but I’ve already wasted too much energy. Thanks a lot, Tapingo. You’re the actual worst.

    I ordered food for delivery and my courier never came. I could not contact the courier and I waited outside my apartment for a total of 40 minutes. My food ended up getting marked as unclaimed. They place no value on the customer’s experience, however, because they will not refund me for an order that literally never came. Customer service repeatedly sent me the same copy and pasted response about how if it is marked unclaimed, I can’t get a refund. Finally after a week and showing them call records and texts that prove I couldn’t contact my courier, they give me an $8 credit for a $20 meal that I never got—which of course doesn’t do me any good because I will not be using this app again. This app isn’t worth it unless you’re willing to go on a scavenger hunt for your food (the only clue you get is that your courier is “outside”). CHOOSE GRUBHUB INSTEAD, at least they value their customers’ experience and will REFUND you the price of your meal if your courier messes up.

    I own a restaurant they decided to Add. #1 I did not ask them to or approve it. All they are doing is marking up the prices and taking the tips! They get you to order through their App then they turn around and place your order with us through our on-line ordering platform. You pay them more than you would pay going directly to the restaurant! They sometimes take over 30 minutes to place your order on our platform making you wait longer than if you went direct. You use your Credit Card on their App and they place the order to us as if they are you but they use their Credit Card. Check the last 4 digits on your receipt. We are a delivery company and we have had a lot of orders they have given us bad phone numbers and bad addresses so we can’t find you. If you tipped on the App thinking your deliver driver would get the tip, think again, they keep it. Total scam rip off! I’ll be contacting ting my attorney in the morning.

    I enjoyed using this app and thought it was really quick and fun, very effective. I had multiple issues with people taking the wrong drink, but that isn’t a fault of the app, so I persisted. However, abruptly Tapingo placed a 59cent service fee onto every order with no advance notice. I no longer feel that this app saves me time because 59cents on everything I order is a whole lot over time. Makes more sense to just be patient because as this app is directed toward college students, everything counts. If the service fee was more like 20-30cents it wouldn’t even be a big deal but 60 is basically another dollar and that’s very annoying. I understand needing your cut of profit to keep the app running so like I said, a smaller service fee would be nice or based on your order price because if I am buying a $1 muffin I don’t wanna pay another 60cents to get it. It diverts me from using this app for sure!

    So I’m a Cal Poly student and this app is literally my savior! I can place an order for my food right as my class gets out and have my food hot and ready by the time I get there! The app is very user friendly so navigating through it is a breeze. Also if there are discrepancies between a menu and the map you can message Tapingo about the issue. This happened when I couldn’t order an acai bowl from Jamba Juice, but I sent the tapingo team a message and the acai bowls were on the menu within the next week. Also the time estimates are very accurate which is also a plus. The only problem I’ve seen is that some companies had some issues adjusting to the new system, but I don’t blame tapingo for that at all. Sometimes places like Round Table didn’t check their tapingo tickets so when it was time to pick up my food they still hadn’t seen the ticket. Since the system has been in place for about 3 months now, I don’t see this problem as often. What started as my school offering some free promotions has now changed the way that I get food on campus, and it’s great! I honestly wish they had tapingo for more places than just my campus.

    The LOGISTICS of Tapingo has revolutionized how I get food on campus at Cal Poly Pomona. It's amazing how I can order coffee from my dorm, have it prepared while I get ready for class, and drop by the store to pick up my order on the way to class! It's crazy when I see the enormous line that I skipped. Time saver! And it can use my meal plan! THE APP ITSELF needs improvement. For instance, "Favorite" orders are just recent orders. There's no way that I can set a button to tap when I want a specific late combo. I should be able to make custom orders and save them under a custom name them so that I know what they are. Ordering from multiple stores also doesn't work. What if I want linch from one place, but a nice coffee to go with it from another place?

    Last year, I used tapingo when it first launched at my school. I lived in a dorm, they told me when it was there, all good. Fast forward to now, I live in an apartment. It started out fine, I’d order, they’d get it, deliver it to my doorstep. Recently, they would NOT come to my door, and instead just stand in front of my building, and wouldn’t explain why they couldn’t come up when they could before. My building isn’t locked, the only thing that’s locked is my own personal apartment unit door. Then they’d say they were here and they wouldn’t be, so I’d go outside standing and waiting for them to come but they wouldn’t. I’d text and they wouldn’t respond. They’d call telling me to come out and they weren’t there. It got resolved and I ended up getting credit later. Now, I order, they say theyre outside and theyre not, they go to THE WRONG ADDRESS, mark it unclaimed and don’t return my calls. I’d feel better if I didnt spend $14 on food. Ridiculous.

    Slow customer service, and unable to realize when the fault lies with tho company. If your driver fails to contact you, I recommend giving up on ever getting the food or a refund. Update- After repeated attempts to contact Tapingo here are my findings: Messages through the app will be responded to within 24 hours, but are automated and no one actually looks at the message. Email is treated the same way, but will take around four days for a response. Despite something like 10 calls at various parts of the day I was never able to actually contact anyone by phone. In short, they don't care about your experience. I would urge everyone to stop using this app and supporting what might be the least customer friendly business I have ever had the misfortune to have to use. Additionally, the app is clunky and the service overpriced anyway. The app often freezes and does not allow the user to scroll through the various restaurants. Menus are rarely, if ever, updated. The estimated arrival times are incorrect and useless. Nothing works. EDIT Almost a week after my original order Tapingo finally responded with more than an automated message. This is still unacceptably slow, but they did resolve the issue at hand.
