Did anyone test this update? Where did the in motion button go on the radar? You can click on past or future but it doesn’t move!
  • Better before update

  • Data Usage

I only use this app on WiFi now. It uses way to much data. The app is great besides that.
  • There are better weather apps

This app is so slow you’d die in a tornado before the radar ever loaded

I'll start this review by saying I really liked the old app. That being said I want to explain what I dislike about the update. First I dislike that I have to click so many times to find he info I need. The small boxes that house the info just don't give me the info easily and truthfully are hard to see unless you click into it. Multi clicks trying to find info take up a lot of time, I truly liked the way the old app opened to a full radar with info running down the bottom. Second there are just too many places to try to figure out where to find the info I want. It's very clunky for me. Third, I enabled push but with an advisory in place, it didn't push to my phone. So that is a disappointment. While this app was my go to for weather, I find myself going to other apps to get right to the info I need. Basically this version has a lot of visual fluff that's not really needed, and will send you to many screens for info that were once easy to get to.
  • Like the old format better

I have always like the wsfa weather apps radar the best. However this last update makes using the app way more complicated than it should be. I liked the format of the old app better. Everything was pretty much in the same place. I could look at the radar and the daily rain percentages all in the same place. Would really like to go back to the old app format.
  • Great Weather App/Bad Warnings

    By SMR3737
Great app for weather. I love the whole weather team at WSFA. I do not like the lightning warning for strikes that are 5 miles away. At 2am I have woken up several times to a man warning me about lightning. It does not matter if my phone is set to silent or not. With so many warnings, people will get to ignore these and not listen when it's something serious like a tornado warning.
  • Change home screen

    By Tide fan 334
I would like to see RADAR 1st! Why can't we change "home" screens! I don't think this is any better than the last 2 upgrades. I've always been able to pinpoint my house for storm info, even though the advertise this is a new feature. Hate the ads that delay the app from opening.
  • Terrible

    By Alabama farmer
I know they are wanting their weather app to be different than the norm and stand out amongst the rest but this one is terrible. Difficult to use and the weather radar map doesn't even work most of the time. Doesn't show anything on the radar but its down pouring, thundering, and lightening here at this moment. Radar map doesn't even show the play button anymore to animate the past or future radar. PLEASE bring back the old setup! It wasn't broke and worked very well!
