This is because you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We will help you download and install Instagram on your computer in 4 simple steps below:

1: Download an Andriod Software emulator for Windows

The importance of the emulator is that it emulates or immitates an android environment on your computer, making it super easy to install and run android apps from the comfort of your PC without buying a phone that runs android. Who says you cannot enjoy both worlds? To begin, you can download such an emulator app made by too top dogs in the space.
A. Nox App . OR
B. Bluestacks App .
Personally, I recommend the "B" option as Bluestacks is very popular so if you run into any trobles using it, you can find good solutions on Google or Bing (lol).

2: Now Install the Software Emulator on your Windows PC

If you successfully downloaded the Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe, go to your Downloads folder on your computer or anywhere you ususally store downloaded files.
Once you have find it, click it to install the application. It should start the installation process on your PC.
Click Next to accept the EULA License agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application.
If you do the above correctly, the Software will be successfully installed.

3: How to Use Instagram for Windows PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and locate the search bar. Now type Instagram in the search bar and hit Search. You will easily see the app. Click on Instagram application icon. A window of Instagram will open and it will display the app in your Emulator Software. Hit the Install button and your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
Next, you will see the "All Apps" icon.
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Instagram icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Hope it was not too difficult? If you have any further inquiries, contact me through the "Contact" link at the bottom of this page so I could help You. Have a nice day!

About Instagram

Developer Description

Instagram is a simple way to capture and share the world’s moments. Follow your friends and family to see what they’re up to, and discover accounts from all over the world that are sharing things you love. Join the community of over 1 billion people and express yourself by sharing all the moments of your day — the highlights and everything in between, too. Use Instagram to: * Post photos and videos you want to keep on your profile grid. Edit them with filters and creative tools and combine multiple clips into one video. * Browse photos and videos from people you follow in your feed. Interact with posts you care about with likes and comments. * Share multiple photos and videos (as many as you want!) to your story. Bring them to life with text, drawing tools and other creative effects. . They disappear after 24 hours and won’t appear on your profile grid or in feed. * Go live to connect with your friends in the moment. Try going live with a friend and sharing a replay to your story when you’re done. * Message your friends privately in Direct. Send them photos and videos that disappear and share content you see on Instagram. * Watch stories and live videos from the people you follow in a bar at the top of your feed. * Discover photos, videos and stories you might like and follow new accounts on the Explore tab.

Stop adding new features all the time and instead fix bugs that have been lying around for months. I like using Instagram and not too long ago I created a second account for my art. After Instagram polls were introduced I found I could only use the poll feature on my art account and vote on them on that account. I thought the problem was fixed when I was able to use the poll feature on my main but now it’s stopped working on my art account. Why is it going back and forth? It should work on both. Please fix this. I also HATE that posts are not in chronological order. Not one of your users likes the way the posts appear on their feed. I hate seeing a post from 4 days ago before seeing someone that was posted an hour ago. And because of this my posts aren’t seen by all my followers and I get less interaction on each post. Why hasn’t the feed been switched back to chronological order at this point after so many complains?? And now the comments on each post aren’t in chronological order? The people that decides the changes that are made on new updates must be bored out of their minds at this point. I like chronological order for posts and comments because it makes sense and is easy to look at. If nothing else, at least explain how the algorithm works so your users know how to use the app efficiently. Everyone who uses Instagram would be very satisfied if the algorithm was changed to the original one.

I love Instagram a lot. As a content creator (I make video edits), it’s the best platform to share my content as well as talk with friends and share other things with my friends. But lately, I, as well as some of my friends, have been experiencing rather annoying bugs. In some DM chats I have, pictures and videos that I have sent have been showing up at the beginning of the chat and I am unable to make them go away. I’ve tried everything I can think of; I’ve deleted the pictures and videos from when I sent them (they went away, but came back shortly), I’ve deleted the chat and restarted with that person, I’ve logged out of my account, and I’ve even deleted Instagram and reinstalled. It’s quite annoying to have numerous pictures and videos at the beginning of my chats. Another thing I’ve noticed is that sometimes when I post a video, is freezes at certain spots, and that’s also annoying, since videos are my content and it’s hard to share your content with the world if the video is freezing in the middle. Overall, I really do love Instagram, even though I do have several complaints about it right now (as well as I’m still a bit upset since my account was deleted in November 2017 and I had to restart completely, that was annoying and uncalled for, as I did nothing to violent any terms). But please try to fix these two things, Instagram! I, as well as many others, would really appreciate it!

We all know that Instagram is a great app...or it used to be. Changing the order of how posts show up on a user's profile has not only hurt content creators, it's forced users to physically visit a page or set up notifications for us to like our favorite blogger/photographer/whomever's content. It's frustrating. I am also growing tired of sponsored ads from shady companies (who have been stealing photos and videos from the original owners) about products and services I have no interest in, and it clogs up my feed. Instagram 'Stories' are a problem as well because 1) it's a blatant copy of Snapchat, and 2) it tracks your location (which I have no idea how it came about doing since I have Location Services for Instagram turned OFF). I am not pleased with how this once great app has now been destroyed. Listen to your users and get it together. Updated: I’m happy to be seeing more content from other Instagrammers I follow instead of the same ones and then a ton of ads. The ad amount has decreased on my end, and now I have the ability to make them disappear if I don’t wish to see them. The only thing that is ruining my Instagram experience (besides the other issues I listed in my first review) is the autoplay of videos regarding sound. When I tap a video I want to really watch, either I have to tap the sound off after I finish or have loud audio frighten me as I’m scrolling through posts. Please give me back my option to choose.

I’ve had Instagram for years now and it’s one of my ways to engage with my friends and know what they’re up to. I like to know when they feel sad so I can cheer them up and when they feel happy so I can smile knowing they’re doing good. But ever since the new algorithm, its caught me in many situations in where I’ve lost all contact with my friends because I don’t know when they post and the other account I follow most recent posts. Yeah, of course I can turn on post notifications but why would I do that when I’ve already followed them and I should see all there posts on my feed. Why would you do that? Why would you take the perfectly fine chronological algorithm and then throw everything out the window? If it doesn’t need fixing then don’t fix it. I don’t need Instagram to tell ME what I MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN, I follow those specific accounts because that’s what I’m interested in, not follow an account just so I’m not able to see their posts. At least make a setting where you can change between the new one and the chronological one. And the reason why there’s not a lot of demand for the change is because bigger Instagram account don’t even tell the difference seeing they follow so many people. It dramatically affects smaller accounts because now you can barely even communicate with your followers and it dramatically decreases the percent of anyone to see your most recent posts. Why did you think the new algorithm was a good idea???

Instagram is getting more and more like annoying Facebook (I’ve stopped using lately). The feed is just awful. There was a day when I had to scroll past 10 posts by one person who had posted for a period of several days and was not even the latest posts. I don’t know why Instagram thought I needed to see this persons posts. It almost made me want to unfollow him. The feed algorithm is just broken. I wish I could control if I wanted to just see things in chronological order. Why is this so hard?? Another annoyance are the notifications that I have no control over. Example: I get notifications for some accounts when they post. I really don’t care about these accounts but IG keeps forcing it on me. It’s hella annoying. It’s not like I’m not using IG that they’re so desperate for me to come back. I freaking use the app several times a day. So I don’t get why they’re so aggressive about it. Also these days I get notified if someone else comments on an image. And I don’t care what other people are saying if they’re not replying to my thread! Lastly, in the past few months they stopped notifying likes and comments in real time, and instead it is done in batches. This does not make sense. Why are you tinkering with all these settings that just make the app more and more annoying? I’m happily using your product, but you are making me dislike it with every single update.

I honestly love Instagram. I have ben using it for awhile and enjoying it. Except now. I have two accounts. My main account and my side account. With my main account, it does NOT update. The new “FaceTime” feature does not work. The new “Questions” feature does not work. I don’t even get the option to use them. But my side account I can use them. I don’t understand how it is updating one account and not the other. With it only updating certain parts my main account set up is different then my side account because the set up has updated in my side account and not my main. So if a button is in a certain place on my main account it’s in a different place for my side account. I’ve tried everything to fix it and it won’t work. I’ve even reported the bug multiple times but the have NOT tried to contact me or fix it!!!! Also I cannot log out of accounts unless I delete the app and refer it. So if my friend wanted to log into there account on my phone i can’t log out of there account. When I press the “Log out” button it just moves it to the bottom of my accounts list. It’s still logged in. I get notifications from the account. It’s TERRIBLE!!!! Also lately messages have not ben sending. I gave this a 5 star so you could all see this review. Please stop making new updates and start fixing old bugs.
  • Annoying algorithm

Very great app. I use Instagram every day. It has a great flow to it. Only problem I have with it is that posts do not appear in chronological order. It’s pretty annoying when you follow a new person and see a ton of their posts from 5 days ago. Also every other 2 posts are ads. Maybe keep your current algorithm but add an option for sorting it by the most recent? That is what Facebook does. Now even the likes and other people’s followers aren’t sorted by chronology? I click to see which of my followers follow an account and it doesn’t list them all anymore. Only a select few. Not even sorted by the order they followed the account. Seriously? No sort of organization at all. Another thing that’s incredibly annoying is the new Recommended For You posts that appear IN YOUR HOME FEED. If I cared about what random people I don’t even know posted I would be looking in the explore page, not in my home page where I see all the people I actually know. The recommended posts are super annoying. A suggestion I would really like to see is being able to change the order of the way pictures appear in a photo album. Sometimes you don’t get the right pictures in the right order so you have to delete your post and do it right the first time. It would be helpful if you could change the order after posting your album. Thanks.
  • Start listening to your users and give us what we want

First off let me say that I love Instagram and use it more so then Facebook. But, I’ve never posted a review for an app or updates before. But I figured it’s time to finally say something about how idiotic it is to not see my feed in chronological order. You would think that after so many people have complained about this, that the developers behind Instagram would take that into consideration and give their users what they have been demanding for. But instead they have just ignored us. The so called algorithm they said would make everything better is terrible. In order for me to actually see the post from people I want, I have to go to their page. Now as for the most recent update and the addition of this tv thing, is there an option to turn it off? I do not want to see the pop up at the top of my screen whenever someone is doing it. I’m already having enough trouble with my notifications as is. I’m not getting my notifications when someone loves a picture or leaves a comment, even though I have them turned on. I still get a banner telling me someone is going live when I have that turned off. It’s time for you guys to start listening to us and giving us what we ask for Instagram, or people will stop using the app. And because of this, regardless of how much I use the app and actually enjoy it, I can not give it 5 stars.

I never write reviews on anything so best believe I find these suggestions really significant. I use Instagram everyday and I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t check it every 5 seconds. We get it Instagrams great. However, the fact that the posts were taken out of chronological order is really annoying because you look like a creep if you liked a photo that was posted on someone’s page last week even though it just popped up on your timeline and now you have to actually go to someone’s page to see if they’ve posted anything new. So it would be amazing if the posts could be in chronological order again. Next, I believe that people should have the option to remove pictures from their carousel posts without having to delete the whole post in its entirety. It’d also be great if you could post images or videos with their actual size and not have to compromise with instagrams options or having to just use no crop apps. It’d also be really cool if you could have the option to make almost like sub caption on the rest of your carousel posts and not just an overall caption for all of them. We should also be able to comment with gifs like Facebook also being that Facebook now owns Instagram. Lasty, there should be no time limit to videos that people post. I hope you take these suggestions into consideration. Thanks in advance!❤️

Instagram, what a fun app to connect you with the world! 😊 I’ve been a long time Instagram user, and have had my current account since 2013. I had never encountered any major errors that weren’t accounted for, and quickly fixed, until recently. When the “Instagram polls” were released, my account began slowing down, and getting extremely glitchy. 😕 I’ve never had the option to create an Instagram poll, post slider votes (not sure what those are called), or post the newly-released question stickers on my story. Mind you, I manually update this app each time a new update is released, leaving no room for error in automatic updates. To this day, after numerous emails and direct requests for help (through both the Instagram help page, the application, and personally emailing), my account still has no access to these accessories, limiting both the fun and functionality of my account. Before I deleted my second Instagram account permanently, I HAD access to these functions, meaning the issue was not with my application or phone specifically (I have also logged out of my account, and deleted the app to try and solve this problem). Not only have I never even HAD the option to choose these functions, but I have never gotten a response from Instagram that they are even TRYING to fix this issue. I love Instagram dearly, but there are definitely some minor issues that have been occurring, and growing to be major issues. 😬
