  • Excellent call quality from Vietnam to the US.

    By DragonSan67
I am so happy to discover this Viber out service to the US for $.99 per 100 minute. The call quality is just like next-door communication. This is much better than paying the $5.99 per minute charge that Viettel charged T-Mobile customers for calls from Vietnam to the US. Several months ago I received and had to pay a charge of $600 for a call from Vietnam to the US levied by Viettel. It's a total rip-off by Viettel. In this day and age in Vietnam technology is so advanced that comparable to develop countries like Korea Thailand and India. However, the rates that Viettel charges unsuspecting user of their network is more in line with the rates in third world countries of Africa and South Asia. I hope that Viettel will come to their senses and correct this terrible price-gouging rate structure.
  • Search feature always gets messed up with updates

    By kReview10
The search feature needs a fixin'. Ive noticed that after most updates when i use the search function that it doesnt jump you back to that message when you tap it like it used to in the chat history. Would like that work again. Is it possible to add a feature to it where when a particular word or phrase is searched, that it finds all references of it instead of only the last one and that you can toggle through each one? It would also be nice if the options of Chats and Messages were available where the actual search box is and not on the next screen AFTER you put in the word or phrase you are trying to search for then you must select Chats or Messages.
  • Getting worse with recent updates

    By PeterW76
I have used Viber for several years to keep in touch with family & friends overseas. I always considered it to be the best instant messaging app out there and have always recommended it to other people. But in recent months I have seen issues with messages not being sent and received. Sometimes closing the app and reopening will force it to refresh. Other times it takes the other person messaging ME for my message to appear at their end. (Ie. I send a message but it gets stuck until the receiver messages me at which point my message will now show as delivered). This issue seems to be getting worse and is almost at the point where it's impossible to have a flowing conversation. Please, in the next update, I can live without more stickers & emojis... just fix this issue.
  • Concerned user

I have been using viber for years now. I haven’t really cared about my data (images and chat history) before and that wasn’t really a thing I consider while switching phones. However, last time I changed to iPhone 7, I really wanted those data and even restore iPhone to get those couple of times, Just to get viber history. Didn’t happen that! So I let it be. Again, this time when I changed to XS made sure that backup was backed up to iCloud and in viber’s settings and then changed phone having high hopes that it will have. But gues what, it didn’t! This is bad in a modern age and this is not how a customer experience should be while other platforms like Telegram handle this nicely. And I dont the tech behind is different, but there’s no excuse to loose my data while I did everything right! Never using viber as my primary chat app ever again!
  • Fun and Reliable for Years

    By Jo_85
I’ve been using Viber reliably for years to communicate with one-on-one and group messages with my close friends and family overseas. And I have so much fun with it, with its variety of cute, fun sticker packs; many of which are available for free. I have seen it keep getting better and better, keeping up with wider technological developments, incorporating video chat, and voice and film recordings. To date, it has been a smooth transition whenever I’ve had a software update or phone upgrade. I’ve recommended Viber to family and friends and will enjoy continuing to do so, while they keep up the great work.
  • Delayed notification

    By iKWeeNii
I have been using viber for years. It’s great for use with connecting to people from long distance. It’s just that lately, the notifications on viber are always delayed. Or sometimes my phone would not ring, and it will just display that I missed a call. And no, I haven’t had any trouble with my connection. I’m always wifi or if not, LTE. Sometimes, notifications for messages received will appear on my phone after 10-15minutes, it’s frustrating. I don’t think that I have any problems with my phone though. It’s only Viber that has delayed notifications. Please fix this.
  • Дуже приємно мать вайбер

    By Wise Truth!
We must say that Viber has been a lifesaver. Free is the way to be! Able to communicate with a Ukraine without paying extra fees! Lifesaver is not a lie by the way... my son was dying from a traumatic brain injury and we were able to call out discuss prayer to the Lord All Mighty Jesus Christ our savior! On top of that my mother is currently living there, 83 years old and very wise. Good source of knowledge and wisdom. Easier, affordable(free) to communicate from both ends brings satisfaction to my heart. Paying limits time spent and details in all cases. Must say “THANK YOU VIBER!” Give them a try, before you buy(elsewhere of course) 😁❤️👍
  • So far so good this is most supportive long distance video/voice calling free apps I got.

    By Sprozario
Guaranteed better then Skype, IMO, What’s app etc, only Massager could proxy this apps often. Still my favourite video, voice, and text also mms providing fully free apps is VIBER...10 out of 10 marks from my point of view. Also I’m a very long time user of app. Day by day it’s upgrading and more then my expectation and satisfaction I gain from this particular social apps. Thanks to creator and all the members of service provider, including operator and especially the owner of this amazing app. Long live Viber from the bottom of my heart.
  • Great App - some issues

    By BeaniePhoto
Viber is a good messaging app and I often prefer it to Whatsapp - loads more functionality. BUT, when I had to uninstall my Viber a few months back because it was buggy, I lost all of the extra sticker packs I had purchased - even on reinstall, they were all gone. I will never spend money on their sticker packs again because of this. Also, since the latest update, whenever I try to turn my camera on while in a call, the call immediately dies and then I have to restart the app a few times and send messages before it will call out again - until I do that, it just keeps saying call failed. Very annoying when one of the reasons I preferred Viber over Whatsapp was the ease of switching between video and audio call without having to hang up.
  • All I Need Is The Key Pad

    By ZIbr@him
The big difference btw Viber and WhatsApp is that you have the option to use the key pad here and can dial out numbers that are not even not in your contacts. Came in handy for me when I was overseas and had to call Delta 1-800 # to change my return flight to the US. Burned through all my phone credit waiting in the 40-minute phone queues and had to restart all over again when call dropped due to insufficient credit. Had net connection but WhatsApp has no keypad option to dial and Viber was my lifeline. 👍
