You will easily see the app. Click on Apple Store application icon. A window of Apple Store will open and it will display the app in your Emulator Software.     I applaude Apple for not only personalized customer service (these people actually care!) but also for consistently striving to produce quality devices that I know I can depend on. No, not everything is perfect all the time, heck, I’m not! No one is. But Apple strives to make every experience for their customers a pleasure. I buy with no worries because I know I can depend on Apple to be there for me and they have. I have not experienced the same with other software/hardware companies who seem too busy trying to “best” the competition rather than care for the customer. I trust Apple. I also trust their judgement on what they post and for how long. I love the Apple Store app. I have found if something doesn’t work it’s usually 99% operator error. Apple puts fun back in technology!

    Much could be said as to why it has taken me this long, and what I have been missing out on by not owning any Mac based products for the last 25 years... but suffice it to say that the Universe has deemed it necessary that I finally come home. Much has already been written about what Apple get right with their products. I just want to say to anyone reading this that the newest gen iPad is miraculous. And the entire Mac experience really does live up to the hype with iOS12. As for this Apple Store app... I didn’t know where else to post my thoughts and stars for the iPad itself, so I did it here. True to form, the Apple Store app provides an elegant and simple to navigate shopping experience.

    I woke up at 3 AM last night being away from California in Washington, DC to order the iPhone X after eligibility had been already determined before. I have had 2 iPhones 7 plus and monthly payments were made for over one year so my credit and payment history were known well to Apple recently and for many years. This app was not ready at 3:01EST 12:01 PST The online site was ready first on the iPad but it directed me to the phone app. I did that, followed the steps. It said the last name and billing address were not right. They were the same for many years with no problems. Now no PO Box billing address was accepted and the same physical address was desired for billing and delivery which they should have informed me the every day before that I checked the app for several days before every day. I know my last name but it had to be in capitals, again not specified. So all took time Card was changed and phones 2 of them will not arrive till December. They said no transaction was final till I got an email. Emails came after more than 3 hours. The phone I ordered second is listed in the app now, 20 hours later but the first one that I got an email about only says “upgrade in progress”. None of this makes sense from a company that holds itself at the top of the electronic internet world! I would not use this app to buy anything again!

    This app starts in the middle of the story. If you know what version of the product you want already, then it gets the job done. But there’s no way to compare one version of a product (eg iPhone X) to another version of a product (eg iPhone 8). So here in 2018, you have to go down the information path of one product version, get out your paper and pen and scribble down some information about that product version, back out of that path, go down the information path of the other product version, scribble down some information about that product version, and then decide which product version you want. And if you forgot to write something down, repeat the process. NOT user friendly. And this is true whether you’re wanting an iPhone, an iPad, or an Apple Watch. Also, the app contains WAY to much visual flashiness and too little useful information.

    How can anyone rate Apple less than a 5? I will tell you. The Windows users of the world think it’s “hipster” to have a iPhone and they more often than not have a very low skill set involving anything but Windows and IOS for those folks seems very foreign. Although its based on logic unlike any MSN product I was forced to use throughout my career. Many very important minor changes in Windows are buried 10 to 20 clicks into that massive and unending, illogical unpleasant experience. Yes, one can memorize some settings but Einstein would gasp at the required brain space required to memorize Windows commands. So in the future iPhone users try to practice being fair when you rate iPhone a 3.7
  • The app is good but....

    The app is very convenient on products that your looking for...but it basically can’t get the request right. So my experience is that I placed an order for the Apple Watch Series 3 along with a Band Accessory as well and schedule it to pickup at my local Apple store. Instead the Apple Store (App) mistook my Pickup order for a Delivery order. So I try to cancel the order or see if it was possible to pick it up at the store, but IT WAS NO WAY TO DO THAT!!!! So my thing is please make this app more officiant so it won’t cause trouble like this AND ALSO change the policy on products that we “SHOULD” pick up at are local Apple store if they have it in stock... Please fix this situation. It really is good but I don’t want to have experience like these again and vent it out the employees that work at the store.

    I’m not happy that the new version, 11.0.2 does not have an option to turn off the save a screenshot on my current page and I have to touch it to make it move away, but usually doesn’t work because the touch seems to be more difficult as well. If I want to edit a screenshot I’ll do it later in Photos. I don’t want to do it immediately. It’s probably a screenshot that I want to send to somebody immediately and you’re just slowing me down. Please remove it or give an option to turn off the immediate edit. Put it back the way it was please! Also, the select text and then copy is also not working very well; sometimes you get to copy and sometimes you just keep tapping trying to get the option to pop up to copy or cut. 😫

    Basically, no matter what problems you have, Apple wants to d... around, hoping that maybe you won’t call back. It takes them way too long to resolve any issue. And then they put it off to some discussion group, people who claim they don’t get paid, that may be true or not, but it still takes too long for some result I also, along with my family, have been an Apple customer for years. Not satisfied at all. Have a nice day. Also, all the apps that I’ve paid for approximately 4+ years ago, or being held at Ransom. It’s extortion. I cannot re-download my apps , that I’ve already paid for, or cannot download my albums, that I’ve already paid for, unless I pay a bill, which is way less than what I’ve already spent. It’s really, really, sad I’m thinking about switching also. Been an Apple customer for 15 years, and this is what I get. Have a nice day.
  • Ruined gift surprise cos of app

    I tried to surprise someone and even called Apple to make sure my name wouldn’t be displayed on the invoice or inside the package. When checking out, I chose the recipient’s shipping address from my address book and chose the recipient’s phone # and email thinking it would be used in case there were problems with shipping. Instead, the details of the order were sent to the recipient, completely ruining the surprise!! There’s zero indication as to what that info would be used for either. Even something as simple as the gift message field was ill thought out. First, the gift message field is too small to see more than a couple of lines, even though the majority of the screen on my 13” iPad is blank. Second, it doesn’t tell you what the max character limit is so you have to keep cutting down the message through trial and error until it accepts it.
  • Horrible iPhone X preorder experience

    I got on as soon as the app opened to preorder, I had updated all my info for billing and shipping in expectation of having everything ready to preorder as quickly as possible. Used Apple Pay to finalize my purchase and before I could remove my finger as I realized all my info was wrong and old info even tho I had checked and double checked my primary info! I could not cancel the order and just redid another order because I knew he first order would not go through since all my billing and shipping info was wrong! Then apple canceled my second order because you can’t have 2 orders of the new iPhone! So I was left with no orders! Apple could not help me and I went from ordering the new iPhone within minutes to having to reorder it 2 days later when apple canceled my second order without any notice! Now I have 6-8 weeks to wait! Horrible!
