I wouldn’t mind subscribing for a few months, but The prospects in my area are not really all that appealing. Sure they are nice probably nice people, but other sites seem to have a better selection of higher caliber clientele. I am not that picky, but browsing transsexuals and scammers in Nigeria that claim to be in my area on their profile, is a huge turnoff. Nothing worse than accidentally clicking on a profile of an otherwise normal woman and finding out it’s a dude and then getting approached by that “she man” is really annoying. Perhaps Badoo should create a separate “She Man and He Woman” category or area for those folks and people that are actively searching for that. Just my thoughts. Other than these issues, the app functions fine. It would be a much better app if the developers would look at weeding out the weird ones or create categories to choose from like: Heterosexuals Only! It’s repulsive to most normal strait men have to weed through other men that are posing as a woman... In closing, this is a free app and that’s cool, the advanced features are over priced for the quality of members available. I guess you get what you pay for. If one looks long and hard he or she can find a few folks on Badoo that aren’t “undesirables”. I do not wish to seem arrogant or condescending towards people. But, when selecting a potential partner, being picky is my right.
  • Just stay with Tinder ...

First that I downloaded, I was happy that it did let me change location and overall it looked way better than tinder ... first day I started messaging some users and looked alright (getting response and that), day two I couldn’t message anyone getting pop up saying “skip the queue and chat for 10 credits” first off WHAT does skip the queue mean? Like everyone is messaging her/him so im in the queue? ... then I saw Encounter where you swipe right or left to find your match BUT how can I match someone when he/she is 1000km away 😐 and no theres no way to filter your distance. Today I wanted to delete my account but badoo wanted to give me 3 days of premium so I backed out to try premium AND boy what is this?! They say chat with popular users with premium but no i cannot do that ... then I said let me spent 2 dollars to get 100 credits so I can get that “Get to the top” option and GUESS WHAT nothing happened 😃 ... overall Badoo looks good BUT they not clear with their information. Badoo if you reading this give me my 2$ back or give me the service that I paid for 🙏🏽
  • Good app but definitely can be far better

Out of all the dating apps this is probably one of the best! Far better than POF. The problems I have with this app are, being linked with someone that is actually in your area! I understand you have 7 million plus members but flipping through the pictures I have not seen atleast 1 person that is within range. Every girl is in other states so that being said It almost makes this app pointless!! The other problem I have is the amount of transgenders on here, some dudes are into that so maybe make a button like male/female/TS and seperate them from being sprinkled in the mix. This app is awesome but it is very limited. Please make it so that you can use your location and be linked with local singles instead of being linked with someone you will never waste time meeting on the complete opposite side of the country!

So all I can really say is this app has really changed my mind about online dating. I use to be against it feeling uncomfortable and everything but it’s shown me a world that not many ppl get to experience because of their lifestyles and just being busy in everyday life, we often don’t have time to go out and meet new ppl. So the few seconds we are able to spare can be used to idk... look for that special someone, or experience new relationships, whether its friends or even just to feel more social with the outside world. I think it helps... and I guess for me it’s always a good experience to be able to chat with someone and get a feel of who they are and what their looking for before actually meeting them. More of Interactional level rather then physical.

So Dating apps are my thing. I’m an introvert and it’s just easier for me. Usually always get good results and get to meet lots of new people. I used tinder for a long time and soulswipe too, but they were linked to my fb, which I was taking a break from. Had just moved to the west coast and I needed a new platform. At first I thought because I was in a new area, maybe I’m just not appealing to the female demographic around these parts. I spent money on the app too🤦🏾‍♂️(so ashamed to say that) no dice. Wasn’t meeting or talking to anybody worth my time tbh. Usually don’t have to or I can spend the minimum and still meet people. Idk it just wasn’t going my way. Downloaded bumble and the results were night and day. If I wasn’t detoxing from fb and I could use my tinder I’m sure it would’ve been cool too. Long story short I don’t have enough time in the day to talk to all the girls I’m matching with on bumble. Even matched with a girl I like genuinely. Stick with bumble or tinder. People have diff experiences though... this was just mine. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Eventually you get to a dead end with the free and the premium version. The matching “game” is getting you nowhere showing you inactive profiles and repeating the profiles that you have not liked until you do like them. Another option is to write directly to a person and when you want to initiate new conversation in 95% of the cases it asks for 20 credits (you pay additionally for those even if you payed for premium service), and 5% of those are getting really expensive - getting closer to 10EU for 2 initial messages. And if she does not reply, or even read the messages, there is no refund. I get that girls get too much spam and this filters “undesirables”, however I want protection for my investment too and there isn’t any credits recovery conditions whatsoever. Spending your time and money elsewhere will be more profitable. And the latest- stream video to get credits from the viewers, FYI the private show option is not yet there, does it ring a bell?

For one they make you go thru hell just to get on their platform ! They make you take a picture , verify your phone number , & another source . So you do all this & boom within 24hrs they block your account for who knows what! You reach out to support and they tell you the same automated bs “your account has violated the terms and conditions & is now blocked” . That’s all they say they never go into detail as to what you did specifically. I give up with this app I’ve tried to many times , I use to like it before all this other foolishness they’ve added . I never heard of getting verified just to use a social network ! It’s harder for us women to post pictures because anything gets moderated ! It’s a lot of bs that comes not with the app but with the company all together . Waste of time and space on your phone . STOP WHILE YOU CAN!!!!
  • No Responses & Tons of Ads asking for Premium Membership

Badoo is one of the worst dating apps I’ve ever used. I constantly get notifications that women want to chat and most are nowhere near my ideal match. For those I feel that are never respond to me when I initiate conversations with a clever icebreaker. When I say never I mean 0% responses from women who supposedly wanted to chat with me. However, I get constant pop up ads in the app that prevent you from doing much until they go away in 15-20 seconds. Then they bombard you with requests to go premium. I get a handful of notifications and emails a day offering me a “deal” to go premium. I’ve had ZERO success being a regular member, why would I pay a decent bit of change to be a premium member with the hope it improves?! I’ve had 1000% more actual dates on Tinder than this worthless app.
  • Premium version is cool

The only way to get the best experience is to have the premium version. For the first few days it’s free, and then it expires. Once it expires, there is really no point in having it because it’s hard to know who liked you and there’s not much to do bc names and faces are blurred. So if you’re on here to find friends or true love, you’d better find people you click with quickly and then take the conversation elsewhere. I mean, you have the option to purchase the premium version but... idk how I feel about that. Overall, it’s the best dating app I’ve seen so far. It’s easy to navigate and everything is pretty straight forward on here.

This is a really BAD App, there is a lot scammers is this app I know mostly about this people don't work and they start asking for money, I'm so glad my parents teach me to work harder to have what I want and need, I can't believe mostly of this people do drugs, drink alcohol, and perverts and this app for now long I will go outside my door and meet Mr. Right, also they're men who scammed your own pictures and they say they are someone else, and they're are black, or fat, so they started asking for information that's not fair I found out a lot of this jerks trying to have easy money I hate this app.
