  • Clear Liberal bias in news stories, sadly

    By Romerican88
I wish the editors at least tried to keep their writers objective and unbiased as possible, but sadly they don't. Seriously, it is at times comical how biased the stories are. The problem is that this is a news station, not a person's blog. Therefore, try to speak facts, not personal opinions. Sadly, they show their biases by how they choose adjectives when discussing politics. If it discusses Obama or democrats, the language sounds encouraging or sophisticated. If it is an adjective about a republican, they usually aim to lessen their image. All in all, this app is good for local weather. If you want actual news, look somewhere else. If you want a childlike blog (at times) trying to pass as news, then you may like it. Not a respectable source for news, especially not for politics.
  • Worse app I have used in long time

    By Southern Potts
Man, where to start. This app, which claims to offer local and national news, offers mostly advertising, with an occasional news story thrown in. When you actually get a story notification, which is infrequently, most of the time if you click on it it takes you to a video commercial, not the story you expected. I suppose if you grit your teeth and stay with it long enough you eventually get the story, but I have not done so, just close the app instead and go elsewhere for news. This is a terrible app, don't waste your time!😁
  • Weather radar is harder to see

    By Bone395
I loved the map on the old radar because it was easy to see where the rain was and where it was headed. The new map looks great but it was better when u could see the county lines and didn't have the satellite imagery in the way. Guess I will look for another weather app. Other than that the new look is nice. Please change the radar map back or give us an option to see it either way. If I had the old radar map back this app would be 5 stars.
  • Latest update is buggy and slow

    By Timbo248
The latest update of this app is very slow and buggy. After reading an article and moving back to the home page the buffering lasts between 15 and 30 seconds in which nothing can be done. Sometimes this app crashes completely and has to be restarted. Previous versions of this app did not have these problems and therefore this update was a downgrade in service.
  • Too many notifications

    By DanInSC81
The app itself is ok and I keep it on here to get notifications about major breaking news. But the amount of notifications sent every day is ridiculous. Today I got 7 and none of the were major breaking news stories. Either tone down the number of alerts and only announce MAJOR stories or give options for the user to choose what types of alerts they wish to receive.
  • Doesn't work

    By JohnInBelmont
I've had issues with this app for a long time. My original issue was that it is simply difficult to navigate. In order to obtain the latest local news, you had to drill down to an article and then select a submenu item. Yuck! Then about 3 weeks ago, the app stopped functioning. There is no news items. There is no weather. There is even no ads. I've deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times and nothing removes the issue.
  • Great

    By Tommy369
Sweetest TV app in existence anywhere. Do NOT update it. I deleted every other local Charlotte app but this one. Whoever designed this is a genius. Any whiners about the radar should just buy RADARSCOPE. The warning beep is loud for push. That's ok especially if there's an emergency. Traffic section is tops also.
