Using Twitter on your Windows computer is actually very easy but if you are new to this process, you will definitely need to pay attention to the steps listed below. This is because you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We will help you download and install Twitter on your computer in 4 simple steps below:

1: Download an Andriod Software emulator for Windows

The importance of the emulator is that it emulates or immitates an android environment on your computer, making it super easy to install and run android apps from the comfort of your PC without buying a phone that runs android. Who says you cannot enjoy both worlds? To begin, you can download such an emulator app made by too top dogs in the space.
A. Nox App . OR
B. Bluestacks App .
Personally, I recommend the "B" option as Bluestacks is very popular so if you run into any trobles using it, you can find good solutions on Google or Bing (lol).

2: Now Install the Software Emulator on your Windows PC

If you successfully downloaded the Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe, go to your Downloads folder on your computer or anywhere you ususally store downloaded files.
Once you have find it, click it to install the application. It should start the installation process on your PC.
Click Next to accept the EULA License agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application.
If you do the above correctly, the Software will be successfully installed.

3: How to Use Twitter for Windows PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and locate the search bar. Now type Twitter in the search bar and hit Search. You will easily see the app. Click on Twitter application icon. A window of Twitter will open and it will display the app in your Emulator Software. Hit the Install button and your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
Next, you will see the "All Apps" icon.
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Twitter icon. Click on it and start using the application.

  • Great platform for speech as of 6/5/18

Twitter is very useful as a news source, research avenue, and platform for speech. I completely agree w the decision to not have an edit button, because that complicates when tweets were originally done! A delete button is enough. A user also has the ability to tack on something after, which is annoying, but at the same time, that user (which is often me) was hasty in not proofreading. Furthermore, it overcomplicates everything when there are threaded replies to a tweet. It would make a conversation useless. Two improvements: First and most importantly, you should be able to have customized filters for your thread where you choose what the filter is called and what users (of the people you are following) constitute that thread. For example, you could follow crypocurrency junkies, politicians, and actors, and you could have a filter for each. You might have a user that fits multiple filters, and can put them in both. So if you were trying to concentrate on something, you could just apply filters. Your normal feed could also have certain people that you follow filtered out, if you only want to see what they have to say under specific circumstances. The other one would be to automatically make a thread when you go over your character limit. However, I understand not doing this, as it defeats the encouragement to consolidate ideas.
  • Shadowbanning

Twitter anti-spam artificial intelligence software hacks and slashes its way through members indiscriminately banning it sometimes based on differing opinions sometimes of course on language or negative flags but more often than not simply by being #AtTheWrongPlaceOrTheWrongTimeThatIsToSayTwitterActuallyPunishesYouForUsingTheirAppTooMuch. I don’t believe it’s a big conspiracy and I don’t think it’s anything personal it’s simply a bot picking out certain red flags that you could accidentally stumble on and then once you are Shadowband you can tweet till your blue in the face and no one will ever see your tweets unless they bother to actually go to your timeline. I used to love Twitter, it was my favorite social media activity but I kept getting Shadowband and I honestly do not know why...if I had done something objectionable like threaten or racism or excessive bad language yada yada yada I would understand but the most negative thing I ever post it was that I didn’t like a certain episode of a TV series or I didn’t care for this movie or that. If you try to contact Twitter they ignore you their help and support line is nonexistent it’s all bot driven. There is no clear and obvious fix for it as you were basically fighting a tapeworm antispam program you can change your identity but it simply finds your computer and equates that with the old account and within an hour and a half your banned again ! If they ever fix this problem I would love to get back on
  • Warning!!! Violation of rules not enforced!!!

The App overall is good. It does crash from time to time forcing me to delete it and reinstall. Great way to reach a large audience for your business/ agenda/etc Though I believe that Twitter tries very hard to ensure their platform is a safe place for all voices to be heard the violations of the RULES here are not enforced nor is Twitter following the guideline that are in place by their company. There are easy options to report violations for example; a president threatening nuclear war. The reporting was easy, I was prompted to select the recent Tweet and promised a resolution. But there is never a follow up. So you’re left wondering what happened and if it will happen again. Not a safe place sometimes based on that. There is a great deal of bullying from powerful people and their accounts are still active in spite of reporting. But, some people may make statements others do not like BUT are within the margins of the Rules set in place yet are punished for the statement while others continue causing world wide mayhem. So just remember that rules seem to apply only to those who are average citizens, sometimes, depending on the day and time. However if you are rich and powerful you can do and say anything. This way you are prepared as to what your experience will be like.
  • BIG RANT! Locking people out of their accounts randomly

I’m so frustrated I loved twitter but now it’s going out of hand with locking accounts. I have had my account for 8 years never had an issue with resetting a password til now. I was on twitter put my phone down after an hour I got lock out randomly and they told me to reset my password over the 8 years I forgot the original email and phone number I used for the account and back then it wouldn’t even be shown in the settings. Now that I am locked out they told me to reset my password with the email or phone with the account which I forgot they never told me to update my information before they just decided to lock me out. I decided to start a fresh account but wanted my old account deactivated since I couldn’t get into it I don’t want it to just stay online. I gave them all my personal information to deactivate my old account and emailed me saying they couldn’t get any proof that I made my account it was so obvious that I did I’m so annoyed. Now when I try to login to the new account it gets confused with the old account so basically I AM LOCKED OUT OF TWO ACCOUNTS INCLUDING THE ONE I JUST MADE 😠 I can’t get help because their emails are not helpful whatsoever I rather talk to someone who can understand what the problem is. I’m so disappointed with their customer service.
  • Urgent! Money scamming going on in twitter.

I believe there is scamming going on. People are pretending to be celebrities and asking people to send them large amounts of money claiming it's for concert tickets. Twitter needs to make it so that we can copy our entire message so that we can report this suspicious activity. Facebook needs to do the same thing. Make it so we can copy the entire message that needs to be reported. Please do something about the scamming. The scammers are pretending to be celebrities. It's not fare to our real Celebrities. Please investigate and get to the bottom of of it. Thx. I need to be able to copy the entire content of the messages that I have. Question: Now I'm left with who is really who on twitter. Aka What caused the alarms to start going off was when they started asking for money. A real celebrity would not do that. Plus they wouldn't put pressure on someone and then block a fan because they didn't get what they were after. Please give us the ability to copy our messages in their entirety. Why am I getting so many true twit requests to verify that I’m really me? It’s very confusing when I’ve already done it. I’ve registered, what more is there? I’m not going to creat a payed account.
  • Better than Instabook

Facebook organic reach has been dwindling as they convert to monetization. Instagram is well on its way with ads now showing up as every 5th or 6th post. Not to mention that both platforms are attention hacking to get you to use more of their services and invite more of your friends. Meanwhile Twitter, the second platform chugs away. Keeping posts short, points to the point and political discourse from spilling over into articles, sources, fights meh. I find Twitter to be useful at quickly finding and sharing what you like and easy to avoid/block what you don't. Unlike fb and instagram it is still chronological, you still see all the posts for those you follow, and the ads are tolerable. The only abuse of ads Ive seen are for companies I despise creating new accounts to get back into my feed. Microsoft, Google, and Dell seem to do this well. Microsoft has about 30 accounts that all need to be blocked if I don't want to see their BS Azure or Surface crapware that I don't care about. All in all, a fast platform.
  • Update Review 2018

I adore this app!! It’s my favorite social media app above everything else. I use Twitter daily on and off throughout the day. I will say I love how fast news updates and information appears making it #1 in news. This app is a place where anyone can be sociable everyday and engage in fun to controversial conversations and with 280 characters it’s so much better. Only cons I have and it’s minor is that certain followers I can’t see when they retweet something I have retweeted but I can see if they retweet my own tweet. Also I can’t see when I have new followers I have to see if the follower count has moved up or not. Other than that this app is awesome it doesn’t drain the battery while using or left open in the background. The timeline separates what you missed while you were away from the current tweets. Unlike some other apps that show 3 day old posts. But nevertheless I came back to Twitter back in 2016 from a long hiatus of 4 years and I’ve been on the app ever since.
  • It’s become very toxic

It’s now a lot of people trying to shut others down with one liners. Taking pictures of their bio to “expose” them. Trump hating, a ton, like unending... we get it, he’s bad, you don’t have to tweet every single thing he does. Too much politics. Segregation, there’s literally a thing called “black twitter” and everyone just seems to be okay with it.. okay (Ps I’m black, hate that now a days you have to clarify that unless it somehow invalidates everything you just said prior) The best way to experience this app is to pretty much, don’t read comment on news stories, if you do don’t reply, unless you want to get into an argument and possibly lose your job in 12 seconds. If you talk about politics, tread lightly, someone out there will get offended, stay away from political groups, it’s very easy to get swept up in radical believes and lastly follow your friends and not get swept up in trends... hey! That rhymed! 😃 Of course these are for the average user. Not company users or anything like that :^)
  • Deletes accounts for no reason

Every single time i interact with someone via commenting back and forth, nothing aggressive or rude ever, like every single time they lock and suspend my account and if you create a new one eventually it just has the same thing happen to it. And they never respond to your tickets if you make one to get it fixed, I don’t understand how people actually use this app. Like if they stopped doing this to people they’d probably have less random profiles. I’ve been deleted 3 times so at this point I’m just over it and will not even waste my time again. It’s like right when I get some followers and follow all my favorite accounts they just suspend my account anyways so what’s the point. Update- I just checked my old account and it’s still suspended (3 weeks later) and I have NO response from the twitter team so I tried to just delete my account and it won’t let me even do that since it’s suspended. It removed all of my followers and all the people I was following from my account as well. It’s like they do this and then they make it so you can’t reach out and you can’t tell anybody or tweet about it because they block you from doing EVERYTHING.
  • Locks me out for no reason

Twitter locks you out of your account for no reason. It’s very stressful. I’ve used twitter for years and in the past two years I’ve been locked out about over 10 times. I’ve done nothing for this to happen! When I made my account I was 13 (the required age) but it wouldn’t let me put my birth year (2000) so for the past 6 years I had to put 1995. Every now and then I would try to put in my real birth year but it still wouldn’t let me. I tried again today and surprisingly, it let me. Immediately after Twitter locked me out and removed my account from the site. They keep saying I’m under 13 or was younger when I made the account. They also said you have to send in a picture of your ID to get it back. Because of personal reasons, I don’t have any sort of ID. I sent in a picture of my birth certificate, hoping it works. I made a second account to message them but it kept on saying that Twitter Support wasn’t responsive at this moment. After a couple of hours they then locked me out of my new account. This experience made me not want to get on twitter anymore. I got on the app almost everyday. This is very stressful. Please fix this Twitter!
