Using Starbucks on your Windows computer is actually very easy but if you are new to this process, you will definitely need to pay attention to the steps listed below. This is because you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We will help you download and install Starbucks on your computer in 4 simple steps below:

1: Download an Andriod Software emulator for Windows

The importance of the emulator is that it emulates or immitates an android environment on your computer, making it super easy to install and run android apps from the comfort of your PC without buying a phone that runs android. Who says you cannot enjoy both worlds? To begin, you can download such an emulator app made by too top dogs in the space.
A. Nox App . OR
B. Bluestacks App .
Personally, I recommend the "B" option as Bluestacks is very popular so if you run into any trobles using it, you can find good solutions on Google or Bing (lol).

2: Now Install the Software Emulator on your Windows PC

If you successfully downloaded the Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe, go to your Downloads folder on your computer or anywhere you ususally store downloaded files.
Once you have find it, click it to install the application. It should start the installation process on your PC.
Click Next to accept the EULA License agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application.
If you do the above correctly, the Software will be successfully installed.

3: How to Use Starbucks for Windows PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and locate the search bar. Now type Starbucks in the search bar and hit Search. You will easily see the app. Click on Starbucks application icon. A window of Starbucks will open and it will display the app in your Emulator Software. Hit the Install button and your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
Next, you will see the "All Apps" icon.
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Starbucks icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Hope it was not too difficult? If you have any further inquiries, contact me through the "Contact" link at the bottom of this page so I could help You. Have a nice day!

  • Balance, Stars, and Challenges

I continue to run into the issue of the balance not being updated on the app although at the store when I go to pay they say I don't have enough money on the app!!! The stars also take a long time to be reflected in the app sometimes over 24 hours and this is true to the challenges as well. I did a challenge 2 days in a row and waited for the first day to populate, the next day I had the exact order and still didn't have the challenge updated and when I mentioned it to the manager at the time she literally shrugged and said - well I don't know anything about that! It also seems to be an issue when I order in person and tell them I need to load the app and then they entered the order to the register then they can't load mid transaction and that if they delete the order they don't know when the partial payment would be put back on my app and then they ask for cash! I tell them I started off telling them I needed to reload and have the app and credit card out together! Still a disconnection from the app and the stores!!! I would also like to see my actual listed so if any reason I don't get the correct stars or challenge it can be mitigated. I feel like I have done my side purchasing the items for challenge but then getting ripped off by not getting any of those stars and then since I didn't take a receipt I have no proof that is what I actually purchased and stars should be awarded for the challenges!! I'm out 200 stars in just the past 2 days!!!
  • worth a download but far from perfect

    By shazambambam
I love this app for a lot of reasons but it's far from perfect. I love that I don't have to wait in line and all the customizations they make available on the app. If everything goes smoothly with your order and the employees are able to correctly execute it, all is well. However, this morning I asked for "No Cheese" on my sandwich. When I arrived I reminded them and was told they already put cheese on it and it was the last one (side note: they ALWAYS put cheese on it, but it's not usually the last one). I can't eat cheese so obviously that's a problem. Another time I ordered a salad and was told they were out when I arrived. In both cases (and others) the employees shrugged like "not my problem" and I was told they had no idea how to reimburse me. In one of these cases the app hadn't properly updated, but the other was pure laziness on the end of the employee as it clearly says "NO CHEESE" on the order. The first couple times this happened I just thought "it's only $3-5, not worth calling over," but the more it happens the more frustrated I become because those numbers add up. I spend enough money at Starbucks as it is, I don't need to be wasting money on items I never received because of failures of the app or incompetent employees. I wish there was an easier way to report problems to the app.
  • Double charged and treated rudely

    By dashboard5
I was at the the 3815 Starbucks on j street and ordered a honey saracha sandwich and a grande coffee I paid for part of it with the app then the rest with a gift card. The order was approved and they said I had a $1.60 balance left on the card and printed the receipt which they threw away. Afterwards I requested to reload the balance on my phone app, that’s when they asked me to go to the next register with a different worker so the next people behind could order. At the next register the lady asked how I wanted to pay and I said I would use my credit card, that’s when she asked what I ordered before and rung it up again even tho I said I already paid which she said it wasn’t on her register and proceeded to charge me for the full order again which this time I paid using my credit card. After believing this to be a mistake I checked the remaining balance on the gift card which should have been returned to the original price if what she said was correct about it not going through. Except when I checked the gift card the balance was at $1.60 which is what the original worker said was left on it after I completed the payment the first time. So I’m requesting to have my second payment of about $10 which I was wrongfully double charged for. I am a regular costumer of Starbucks spending about $60-70 a month and was appalled by the way I was treated at this store today, as a loyal customer I request to be given what I’m owed.
  • Love the app but most stores are slow to make your mobile order!

    By Cattngo
The app is almost perfect. I wish you can customize the mobile orders a little more like put someone else’s name on it when you order for someone else. But that’s not my big gripe and why it only gets 3 stars. There are two reasons. First of all, one less start is due to store locater being slow half the time unless it happens to be your store that you note as a favorite. The 2nd reason, and it’s a big reason, is that most stores are now very slow to process your mobile order. I can expect 5-10 more minutes on top of what they estimate for you. A lot of them just say they have many drinks. Well the system should have factored that in. If you give estimated times then factor in how many drinks just got into the system. I do think many stores just don’t pay attention to the mobile orders as much. I literally see them pull the labels out for those who are at the stores ordering and let the other machine that has the mobile order sit there longer. Starbucks: If you want more people to use mobile order then have your baristas pay attention to the mobile order labels being printed. Those are your most loyal customers and don’t want to wait 10-15 minutes for their drink to be made. It defeats the whole purpose of having mobile orders!
  • Great app just keeps getting better

    By FM_M
I’ve used the Starbucks app for years. It’s convenient, they have always been quick to add great native support for Apple technologies like wallet and Apple Pay, and the features just keep getting better and better. I appreciate the refinements in the Store Locator (24 hour? More stores like this!!), but I would really appreciate a filter for corporate vs store-within-a-store. I travel a lot for work, and often I don’t want to deal with a grocery store or a department store (or their baristas who are not as skilled as Starbucks employees, or that they might not take payment from scanning my Starbucks app on my phone, etc.). If I’m searching and then driving to that location, I really would like to be able to filter them out before I waste my limited time while traveling. Oh also: I’d love to see Favorites lines shorter (so I could see more than 4 at a time), and that I could name each line (for instance, I have several that start with a Grande Dark Roast and then add different add-ins, but they all now have the same name; it’s unnecessarily confusing). And no, I don’t want that custom name to translate out of the app to my order; I don’t need a barista calling my Floofy Bunny Soooper Sweet Treat! ;-)
  • Needs more options like unsweetened and sugar free

    By Secrete fan
I wish I could like the app more. It’s great that everyone at the office can place their order and then one person pick it up. The issue is that in this day and age with so many people being diabetic and others doing Keto you sugar free or unsweetened options are severely lacking. For example chai tea has no sugars or carbs naturally. The chai “syrup” that is used in the chai drinks and fraps does. There needs to be an unsweetened option or an option in the app to have tea bags used instead. The same goes for the coconut milk and almond milk. There needs to be unsweetened options in the app. My office use to do Starbucks runs multiple times a week but we don’t anymore because too many people can’t place an order online through the app as sugar free, unsweetened, and Keto options are not readily available. If they want a chai latte they have to go in to order it and asked for it to be made with tea bags. Also need a way to report that the drink you ordered online, and picked up is wrong. This is another reason we stopped our Starbucks runs is that one person would pick up the orders for everyone and not know if something was wrong. I ordered a pink drink but what I got didn’t have any coconut milk in it. I took a picture of the drink, label, and order to prove it but couldn’t do anything about it while I was at work.
  • Great app, easy to use!

    By DoNotDownloadThisTerribleApp
This was one of the first apps I ever used with mobile payment and I've been using it for at least a couple of years now. It's beautiful and easy to use. I was really glad when y'all made the inbox section easier to find to make those message notifications go away. However, the most recent update has made rewards look like it has a permanent badge icon that I keep accidentally tapping on because it feels like something that needs my attention. I always save my rewards for special occasions when I want to treat myself instead of just getting my daily coffee so that icon gives me anxiety when I see it but can't clear it. I also wish that the little green pay button on the home screen would update more often to stay consistent with the actual amount left on the card. Sometimes I'll manually refresh from the manage page to see my current balance but the amount on the green button doesn't update. But maybe that's just to encourage people to set up auto reload 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also a sidenote: I love that the games that open in Safari will now keep you logged in.
  • Starbucks app and rewards program .

    By StarbuckHappy
I love the app for most part but it gets frozen or does not always update the purchase at times. Bonus reward is great for most part, only I feel I don't get offers based on my purchase but they want to sell. I have never received any offers to purchase teavana teas which is what I buy most often . I also buy other beverages such as latte, cappuccinos and frappes. I have not gotten any offers for that also . I don't like the fact some offer are time constraint related especially if it before 11am or between 11am to 2 pm. Due to work not possible to get starsbucks between that time or even stop over at one in morning if running late. Also they keep sending me the same offers over and over again of which I don't care of which combo of warm sandwich , protein box and a breakfast sandwich. If I don't use a offer , I don't receive a offer next week so I don't get bonus stars for two weeks. I love to receive the offers based on what I buy , bakery items only offers, teavana teas only offers and breakfast sandwichs only offer and also any purchase offers are good too. I can also deal with any bevearage purchase offers also.
  • Starbucks is my treat to myself!

    By Tunes the Driving Cat
I enjoy a Trente sized Green Iced Tea. I don’t have any pumps of sweetener and no water. I try to get the maximum benefits of the undiluted Green Tea for weight loss and anti-oxidants. I am a Gold member and drink my first Green Tea at the store. Then I take advantage of the free refill to enjoy the rest of the day!! The Starbucks employees are so friendly and go above and beyond to make sure your meals are just right. I love the new turkey sandwich for the Thanksgiving and holiday timeframe. It even has cranberries and some stuffing inside! Totally delicious!! I have tried almost all of the breakfast (anytime) sandwiches and their other warmed sandwich variety. Just had a grilled cheese sandwich after visiting a store that was sold out of every other warm sandwich. To say the least, I was craving a few of my favorites, but the grilled cheese was very tasty and loaded with cheese!! I am not a big coffee drinker. However, that goes to show you that Starbucks is not just about coffee flavored beverages!! Download the Starbucks app and join the rewards program. The benefits are more than worth it by earning free beverages, food or their out of this world desserts!!
  • Recent woes with the app

    By Momofmydomain
Starting with the positive, I love the rewards program and the free item notification visible when I open the app. I love mobile ordering and the ability to identify the closest location when I'm ready to submit an order. The woes begin here. Recently I attempt to put in a mobile order and get a message that the store I have selected is out of stock on the items I have chosen so I walk in and order the exact items it said were not available at that store. Today I got a message that this store could not accept mobile orders and walked in to ask why and they said they had been getting them even in the prior few minutes but many people complain about the mobile ordering not working right. Then it looks fine but when I get to the register and click on the pay button it just sits there. I have money on the app but cannot access it and have to return to my car for cash. So frustrated with the app right now. Further, if you want any customization to the order it is definitely not easy or intuitive. Keep working at it developers. We love the concept but the experience leaves something to be desired.
