App Reviews

  • No Homekit support

The lack of homekit support is really starting to get troublesome. This is the only integrated device to not support homekit, and is therefore the only thing in my house not included in my homekit automations. Honestly if they just added this one thing the app would go from one to five stars for me, since its usefulness would increase exponentially. Really hope to see this added soon... Edit: Gotta say, thank you very much to the developers for answering my review so quickly. That’s literally never happened before and it really shows how seriously they take input from their customers! I really do hope that homekit gets added soon, but I had to bump up my review a few stars in light of this response. Knowing that they’re listening to their customers gives me much, much more confident in the platform and it’s future. Keep up the good work and hope to see this added in the future!
  • Good overall but no HomeKit and buggy AppleWatch support drag the rating down.

I have a good experience using this app with our alarm vendor. On the iPhone the app tends to work well and is responsive. The arming reminders are great and very helpful. I was hoping by now they would have offered HomeKit integration. I see they have just added support for Siri shortcuts which could be a solution, but it doesn’t look like I can use the Apple Shortcuts app to create a workflow that disarms the house as part of a multi step process. The AppleWatch app is also a bit buggy. Most of the time I get a connection error when launching the app on my phone. It could be some connectivity issue but I can usually pull my phone out of my bike bag and use the phone app right away unlike the watch app.

Live watch is by far the best alarm company there ever will be. I must say they go above and beyond to get a system installed in your home, very affordable, but the absolute best part about it is, yeah I kno they are wireless, they offer cameras, they offer home automation, but that’s still not it, you wanna kno what sets them apart from the rest, cause I’ve tried just about them all xfinity home, ADT, just to name a couple they all run on internet connection, that’s where live watch gets them, they run on a cellular connection when all the others fail due to power outages and such my home will still be protected cause Live Watch has my back
  • Please make vibration on push stronger part II

When you get a push notification while your phone is on silent, the vibration is very weak. I would think people would want to know then they get a push notification. Please make the vibration stronger or customizable. You replied that I need to change my vibration settings on my iPhone. This is incorrect information this will only work for SMS notifications, not PUSH. PUSH notification vibration intensity need to be changed within the programming of the app this was communicated by one of your techs to SuretyCam. This issue is important because you are currently working through delay issues with SMS and PUSH ismfaster an more reliable
  • All-in-one smart home app

Great app for automating my home. All of my smart home devices are able to talk to each other on this app to save energy through my thermostat and lights. It even tells me if I left a window or door open by accident. I also have a two-way voice, indoor cameras to monitor my apartment and dog. I was also able to talk to my apartment building engineer through the camera on this app. I gave this a five-star rating because of how streamlined my smart home, video, and security services have become through this app. Also a great party trick using Alexa to control the home lights.
  • Excellent Except...

This is an excellent app, except for one very annoying detail, specific to the companion Apple Watch app: When my wife gets home and disarms the security system, it pops up an alert on my Apple Watch. In itself, that’s great, except for the placement of the buttons below that alert. The button directly below is to rearm the system, and the “OK” button is **off-screen** below that. Several times now, I’ve hit the re-arm button expecting it to be the “OK” button. There is almost never any need to immediately re-arm the system, so the “OK” button should be direct below the alert, with re-arm buttons off-screen below it!
  • Love the App but...

I love the app and its features. I especially like that once I leave my geo fence, I get an alert that I left the house unarmed. The alert on my watch easily allows me to arm my house. I would love this same feature in reverse. Once I enter into my geo fence, I could get an alert and could turn off the alarm before I even get home. The app also allows me to get a notice if I have left my front door open for longer then a set amount of time. Not a feature needed in the south where the weather is HOT. But I would like the ability to get an alert if the door has been left unlocked. Is that possible. Thanks
  • Great app with some frustrations

I really like this app. It’s attractive and easy to use, but still “lite” so it’s responsive and not sluggish on my phone. The one frustration for me is that if you have multiple garage doors - as I do - you have to load the full app to control them individually. If you try to control them using the Today widget, you can only “Open All” or “Close All” garage doors. I would love the ability to control them individually in the widget. Another issue I’ve discovered is that while opening my garage doors outside the app works fine, I am unable to close them with the Watch app or with Siri Shortcuts - I have to go back to the app to close them. Not good.
  • Needs work

I’m an using an iPhone 7 Plus and iPad Mini 4. -the app needs to let you set schedules for your outside lights(porch, back door, etc...). I can only manually turn the lights on and off. Also a shortcut to the widget for the lights would be great. -also the alarm interface needs to be easier to view, when you have multiple gadgets and have to scroll it’s annoying. Maybe option for two side by side instead of just all one under the other. -the app should also display the battery levels of your z-wave devices and your motion, door and window sensor for alarm system or at least notify of low battery warning. I can currently only view battery level for front door(z-wave) on alarm panel and as far as the motion detector, doors and window sensors....I have no way of knowing, not even on the panel(according to alarm tech that came to my house to service doorbell). -silent alarm/panic on iPhone & iPad to dispatch police, fire and ems and well. I’m sure these is more, I just can’t think of them right now. Thanks!
  • Refresh

I’m so tired of this app not refreshing and sending errors, I’m about to cancel my security service. I have so many times that I am looking at my garage or alarm box and it says something different than what I see with my own two eyes. It makes my family very unsure when we are away from home. Is the garage open, is it really closed????? I hate this app. Update - the company contacted me and push through some different programming for my app. It updates and works much better now. Upgrading them from a 1 Star to a 3 Star. If I continue to not have problems then I will move them to 4
