Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and locate the search bar. Now type Shazam in the search bar and hit Search. You will easily see the app. Click on Shazam application icon. A window of Shazam will open and it will display the app in your Emulator Software. Hit the Install button and your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.

  • Just want more exact live or version recognition

I’m an audiophile, put together high end vintage equipment home stereo and home theater and love live music and those long 7min+ songs that are your entire TRIP in the car, not those 3min 09 sec “radio edit” versions and appreciate and immediately recognize when it’s NOT a radio/studio version that has been beaten into my head with repetition and has different changes and musically unique versions instead and 9 out of 10 times I need Sound Hound to capture exactly what I’m hearing, even if Shazam will pick it up and give me the general album or song but not the “Live at Red Rocks” with some date, etc. I live for hearing new version of the same song even if I do sacrifice some fidelity in the process. More importantly I want to know where to find it again! I really am a “Shazam Guy” first, just it those instances I have to go searching for SoundHound in a race before for the app buried in my apps before the song ends! Help me out Shazam. Make it a one stop shop!
  • It is the technology I have been waiting for since 1990...

There have been songs that truly have been ingrained in my life since 91' where I never knew who the hell was the artist or song. On a tv show, a random commercial, etc. that have slipped through my fingers and traveled onward into the dark distance. I never caught the artist or the song. And I would sing these songs carving down the mountain or riding a wave internally for all this time.. When Shazam came out it literally changed my life on this earth. I finally have found what I have been searching for. You Shazam have found what I have been searching for. Now I use it anytime I feel moved in hearing a song at a store, a party, a commercial, a Movie. It has made me a better person. We are finally entering an age where the shadow of the sun is no longer. I beckon the suns musicals waves with the power of Shazam! Thank you my friend! You are a beautiful creation.

I’ve been using Shazam for over 10 years I barely thought about giving it a review. Not that it really needs it, because many people already know about the app globally. It’s the best app to see what artist/tv/movie/radio is playing! I remembered when I first used it when 3G was barely the next gen with it at these speeds it made it so much better to search for the details without any needs to going the the webpage or anything else it is at your fingertips just one click their is a way to say “Shazam” to start the searching. I am not to sure if it works with everything. Most o the type I find my self just using Siri to do most of my stuff while moving around. It’s a very useful app because you may what to know what movie someone is watching or a friend my want to know without interrupting the movie they can search seamlessly!

I’ve used Shazam since I got my first iPhone back in 2011. Overall, it’s been super helpful, especially when I’m in a store or somewhere that I can’t just ask what song is playing. However, I’ve been frustrated with the app the past several times I’ve used it. First off, the app was slow to launch. Secondly, once I pressed the Shazam button it was then slow to figure out what the song was. In several instances the song ended before the app even started Shazam-ing. That was super annoying, but I just figured out how to set it to start Shazam-ing upon launching. Hopefully will fix the problem. (And hopefully it’s not just that my iPhone 6 is just senile.) Another feature that I just discovered for myself is the ability to connect Shazam to my Apple Music app! It even adds a playlist of all my Shazam-ed songs. Since I subscribe to Apple Music I can listen to them immediately and whenever I want.
  • Great app when it works!

This app is literally part of my daily routine so I use it quite a lot. However recently I’ve been noticing when I go to play a song using Apple Music through Shazam the entire app just stops working on my iPhone. So I figured it was just my phone acting up but then I went to use it on my iPad and the exact thing happened when I went to the map and tried playing a song. Also a lot of small things about the user interface will just stop working like the back buttons and scrolling on a page. It’s to the point every time after I Shazam a song and try to either add it to Apple Music or Olay it I have to close the app and restart it. Overall I love the app just wish I could use it a bit longer without having to restart it!
  • Several Issues

Shazam is a very useful tool, but it does have some issues in this version. For starters, I’d like to modify Notifications Settings… but the link in the app takes me to the front page of Settings and there’s no panel for Shazam available on my new phone. Additionally, when upgrading to a new iPhone I lost access to the ad-free experience I bought into years ago with the since-depreciated Shazam Encore. I’m using the same account as before, but I have ads now… I’ve submitted a ticket and am waiting to hear back. A final complaint would be with Facebook integration. Most apps now show me a page asking to sign in with the Facebook app, which takes me there to authenticate; Shazam, on the other hand, wants me to sign in directly in the app instead of taking me to the Facebook app to do so; this is less secure, sends my data through Shazam for additional lost security, and is just not the way I want to do things. Security and privacy are important in today’s world, and Shazam needs to add simple support for Facebook’s newer secure-authentication system. Other than those issues and occasional minor bugs, Shazam works great. Aside from the emails about the top charts that I can’t seem to turn off in the app for some reason, I enjoy using Shazam and it has proven extremely helpful in identifying music on many occasions.
  • Could Be Better

It IS very useful in finding out the track name, artist, album of a great many songs. It DOES have a few flaws. One flaw is that it occasionally gets a song completely wrong, or associates it with another artist, but that is probably less that 1 % of the time. Another quirk which I don't like is that it frequently defaults to a newer CD compilation album release for a song when what I really wanted was the original album and it's song listings. One thing I like about it is its ability to display an album title exactly how you need to label it in iTunes in order for iTunes to be able to find the album artwork. If your title is just one character off from Shazam, iTunes won't find the artwork and you have to enter it manually. Fix the glitches I described, and it's a five-star app in my book.
  • Good not Great. Stop making it so hard to like you, Shazam

The app needs some TLC from a human. My sense is that it has spent too long under the hands of techies and over-aspirational leadership. I‘m a tech guy one; but the app would be better for molding by someone who just loves music and wants to snatch a title. I‘m that, too. The problem, after signing up and upgrading, I find it impossible to get back to the Shazam screen to which I am accustomed - You know, The big blue shazam button. Instead I have some incomprehensible screen with settings of undefined/ non-intuitive meaning; links to other apps; blah; blah. Shazam is not an all encompassing social environment. Stop it, Shazam CEO (or Creative Director or whoever is pitching otherwise). If I can‘t figure it out, I have to delete it and figure something else out. I don‘t want to. Please give me back the blue button; make it easy to get music on the drive by again; and you got my 3 bucks a month for life. Deal?

Shazam! I do not have enough thank full words for your team. I’ve been using the app for as long as I can remember, but I’ve finally decided to give back to you and post a review. First off, the free aspect is incredible. I hate to say this, but it’s such an incredible app that I’d have no problem paying for what’s free. Next, thanks to the app, I have danced and grooved much harder, because now I can find the music my heart craves! Third, I love the fact that I can prove to my husband I know more music than he does (we use Shazam to Test). Ha. I could list 100 reasons why this software seems to be some of the more radical to hit the market, but I’ll just summarize w a deep and heart-felt thank you for your passion and vision. Amazing app. Works beautifully. Many thumbs up.

I think the app is amazing--- they get 9.5 out of 10 songs when I try which is a whole lot better than they used to be---- oh my heck!!!! It was horrible before. I had Shazam and I USED to try to show people hey!! Look at this but it would always fail——wah-wah😰——it was just so bad I quit using it!! One day I said,”I’m gonna clean up my device n Lemme just give it another go” and zoom baby!!!!! Success!!!!! And they didn’t stop there. It just keeps getting better, improving every time I update it. I often get tags when there is dialogue on top of it. I continue to be pleasantly surprised. So, I said all that to say you guys are doing a great job!!! Keep up the great work!!! And thank you from from the bottom of my heart. —-An avid music junkee.
