Using Facebook on your Windows computer is actually very easy but if you are new to this process, you will definitely need to pay attention to the steps listed below. This is because you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We will help you download and install Facebook on your computer in 4 simple steps below:

1: Download an Andriod Software emulator for Windows

The importance of the emulator is that it emulates or immitates an android environment on your computer, making it super easy to install and run android apps from the comfort of your PC without buying a phone that runs android. Who says you cannot enjoy both worlds? To begin, you can download such an emulator app made by too top dogs in the space.
A. Nox App . OR
B. Bluestacks App .
Personally, I recommend the "B" option as Bluestacks is very popular so if you run into any trobles using it, you can find good solutions on Google or Bing (lol).

2: Now Install the Software Emulator on your Windows PC

If you successfully downloaded the Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe, go to your Downloads folder on your computer or anywhere you ususally store downloaded files.
Once you have find it, click it to install the application. It should start the installation process on your PC.
Click Next to accept the EULA License agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application.
If you do the above correctly, the Software will be successfully installed.

3: How to Use Facebook for Windows PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and locate the search bar. Now type Facebook in the search bar and hit Search. You will easily see the app. Click on Facebook application icon. A window of Facebook will open and it will display the app in your Emulator Software. Hit the Install button and your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
Next, you will see the "All Apps" icon.
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Facebook icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Hope it was not too difficult? If you have any further inquiries, contact me through the "Contact" link at the bottom of this page so I could help You. Have a nice day!

  • Feature photos missing etc

I deleted all my feature photos to start them over where I wanted to put them and now the option is gone I really liked that and now I can’t use it. I don’t want to post a feature album that posts to my friends news feed! I want to change things on my profile with out the world knowing it! There should be a option if I want to change my profile picture or post a picture in a album to not post it in the newsfeed! The fosnapchat slide mode has got to go! It dosent work it freezes when you accidentally slide left. AND WHAT EVERY OTHER FACEBOOK USER HAS SAID AND BEGGED FOR SHOW EVERY SINGLE PERSONS POST IN ORDER! Or give us the setting to make our own set that way!!! I shouldn’t have to click “see in order” every time! I don’t want the forecast for the day from 3 days ago! Or Kroger’s 2 day weekend sale on Monday or the band I really wanted to see at a local bar playing on Saturday on Sunday! If there are certain people I want to see first like my kids and best friends I’ll set them to that! I hate having people come into work and say “did you see the picture I posted of my grandkid? no sally sue I didn’t because we don’t talk much on Facebook so Facebook chose not to show it to me!!!!!!! I wish someone would come up with a new site that wasn’t about keeping up with the Jones’s. Facebook was #1 for a reason I use to use Instagram more but not as much now because they are doing the same thing and now Snapchat guess we all need good old steady twitter

Not so much of a review but dudes, my tech people. I need you to quit with the friend suggestion. Just because I live in an area doesn’t mean I necessarily know other people well enough to follow them on social media, it’s a boundary I will not cross and not ever to friend a stranger. I know people from a job yeah, but do I want to follow them on Facebook? No. Especially mutual people I might know that I’ve maybe had a good twenty minute awkward conversation with while their actual buddy online and in life left me to defend for myself at bars—not a fun time. I MIGHT know them but I don’t particularly like them enough to probably go say hi if I ever saw them in public, much less friend them on a social network. So. Tone it down. Like ten notches back. You explode my phone with them. It’s like Back To the Future when Marty blasts himself away on the large amp in Doc’s place (if you don’t get the reference then that’s okay). Not that I don’t mind it, it was a nice reminder when I still lived somewhere where I actually knew people but you base it probably of similar location, mutual friends and or this person knows that person so I just might know that person when I don’t. Literally, you gave me one where the man was in Italy, I know his aunt so why would I friend her nephew who has never been to the states? So tone it back. Please???

It is so annoying to have to update both this app and the messenger app every other week. I have very limited space on my phone and I’ve cut down everything I can to make storage without having to buy more space. But every other week I get a notification that I have to update the apps and every time I try to update them my phone tells me I don’t have enough space. I actually have to delete photos and videos of my kids to try and make room for these pointless updates. It’s incredibly obnoxious. If you actually seriously have some good solid updates and/or bug fixes then yeah, sure, shoot us an update. But having them every other week, finding superfluous things to update In the app just for the sake of a bi-weekly update, is obnoxious. If it weren’t for the fact that it’s the only way I have to see photos of my family members and their kids I would have deleted Facebook a long time ago. I update facebook and the messenger app far more frequently than I actually use them. Also what is up with the status box not being able to keep up with my typing? The cursor jumps around to the middle of the word to the previous word, then back to the very beginning of the text box, and then autocorrect tries to rectify all of those places that your cursor jumped around to and suddenly you have to retype the whole thing... SLOWLY. So done with Facebook.
  • Privacy Issue

The new changes in Facebook really bothers me. When I like someones post, everyone of my friends knows. Why does everyone have to know what I like? This is a stupid feature. The only person that has to know that I like the post is the person that posted it. Second when Facebook started cracking down on viral staff it became boring. I know they are cracking down on fake news too but do Facebook really think that people are that dumb to not know what fake news is? Sometimes things goes viral because it’s funny and entertaining not because we don’t know it’s fake news. Why do you have to decide what’s fake news and what’s not for us? Don’t you think that we can decide that for ourselves? The third thing is that you cannot make yourself invisible in FB chat anymore. I’m talking about completely invisible. Even though they have the “invisible” button, you still show up as visible. This thing sparks conflict with friends because sometimes you don’t want to be bothered and just want to scroll your Newsfeed for fun stuff, then your friends starts messaging you and gets mad because you did not reply and they know that you are online. And this goes back to the first privacy problem, which is, when you like something it will show up to all your friends news feed, that tells them that you are online. So there is no more privacy really in Facebook.
  • Difficult to use with iOS VoiceOver

I am a blind user, and find this app difficult to use. Some functions are not labeled as links/buttons, so if I find myself unable to figure something out by listening, I have to blindly (pun intended) double tap on elements until I find one that does something. The browser version seems to have a slew of options for pages, which are absent from this app. Another problem I’ve noticed is a failure of using drop-down menus, such as when I was searching for my friend to add as admin to my page. I had to approach the problem in many different ways, and the eventual solution was something I had already attempted. The last thing I will mention is with News Feed/Timeline. I am often unable to scroll the News Feed, as the VoiceOver control jumps down to tabs. Three finger scroll down will sometimes move it, but sometimes not. Timeline’s feature lumping friends’ posts into one item seems impossible to open for interacting with individual posts. I give three stars, because there is a great deal of accessible features, and I do realize this (mostly) visual app must be challenging to translate to a screen reader. It is the inconsistencies in function, however, which kept my rating from being higher.

For years I have used Facebook as a way of connecting with others but sadly when a company makes a privacy policy and terms and conditions a mile long where I need a lawyer to read me my rights of what I can or can’t do, I see a HUGE PROBLEM WITH THAT. After the newest scandal of my information being sold to third parties which I 100% believe that the CEO of Facebook knew that third parties were selling the information of 50 million of its users and profiting off of it. You have to be a complete and utter moron to think that this man has a $1 salary. I have deleted my account permanently and will not be returning to Facebook. My information and my data is solely mine and nobody else’s. And another thing after some of my I guess you could say somewhat conservative views were censored and removed from Facebook for quote “hate speech” of the right instead of the left that’s what really pushed me over the edge. I don’t want to be apart of a company as a user that silences my free speech right. And then labels it as hate speech. When if I say something hateful or disliking about the conservative side and trust me I’ve tested it Facebook never banned me for “hate speech” for a company who wants to make money they sure are blowing it all to hell. My recommendation don’t download this app. Don’t use the web address and don’t let your kids use it. #DeleteFacebookOutOfYourLife #TheDeathOfFacebook

I’m pretty sure that you as the developers of the app, have a Facebook account. So instead of adding useless features to the app that you don’t even tell us about when presenting the updates, (we have to figure them out ourselves) it would be nice that you guys could fix the small problems about it. Like when multitasking between apps. Let’s say, I’m on Facebook scrolling through my feed and I see a post that interests me and let’s say , I get a text message, I leave the app to reply to the text message, or go on google to look something up, then when I try to go back to Facebook, it just resets completely like if I closed it. So now the post that I was looking at is no longer there and I have to waste time looking for it which IT SHOULDN’T HAPPEN. I have an iPhone 6S and I’m not the only user who has had this issue. My friend as well on her 7+. So if you guys actually read reviews, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!! It’s been happening for months now and I’m fed up with it., that’s why I’m leaving this review. I literally have to save every post before exiting the app just in case it resets itself which I shouldn’ have to do that!. No other apps do that. So focus on what matters. I’m currently on Facebook as I type this and I bet whatever amount of money I have that it does it again.

While Facebook used to be a favorite way of sharing photos, ideas, finding folks with similar INTERESTS (not similar politics) I now ONLY use it rarely because Family members do and it’s an efficient way to share our lives from great distances. Facebook continues to fail utterly to implement privacy and ethical improvements its CEO declared to the U.S. Senate would be made “right away” to avoid millions of $$ in fines and/or indictments on criminal conspiracy charges. This app, sadly, is now owned by people who will sell anyone’s private information to anyone, sell ads to international adversaries knowing the ads are intended to undermine our Constitution the freedoms unique to the United States of America. Facebook does this for one reason only; greed! For these reasons, and others, I encourage ethical app developers to create a social platform built on ethics, honesty, and protected privacy. I urge Apple to promote such a platform and also maintain ethical activity, protected privacy, and a firm denial of access to those who act to see the freedoms western Democracies treasure and who’s residents have bled and died to protect. Were it feasible, I would urge a boycott of Facebook entirely as they continue to knowingly aid international adversaries to divide us, to make civility amongst us nearly impossible, to ACT to rob us of our FREEDOM. Is that clear enough?
  • Glitch Fixes Needed

Developers need to fix two things: the first is releasing all new status background options to ALL users. I see other users get new background options on a regular basis, and yet, I have had the same 14 options for a long time now. The second thing developers need to fix is the perpetual number 1 on the badge app icon and within the app itself, even if there are no unread notifications. The app’s description in the App Store is that “To make our app better for you, we bring updates to the App Store regularly” and that “Every update to our Facebook app includes improvements for speed and reliability. As new features become available, we’ll highlight those for you in the app.” We’ll, “new features” as of late haven’t been made available to me, and the only “reliability” I’ve encountered lately is the permanent number 1 on my notifications. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on both my phone and tablet to no avail. The problems seem to be account-related as the issues affect my account when I use my laptop, where I don’t use an app. I’ve reported both the lack of status background options for my account as well as the notifications glitch. I’m not all that confident that developers will fix the problems. 🙁

Following the Cambridge Analytica fiasco I considered deleting my account, but decided against it as I use it too much for business. However, that decision was made for me after and my account of >10 years disappeared overnight. My account was hacked, some sort of rule violation occurred, and my account was subsequently disabled. At this point in my story I’m inconvenienced and a bit frustrated, but understanding of Facebook’s policies. As I jump through the requisite hoops to restore my account (verifying my name, contact info, identify, submitting evidence of a hack, and explaining my experience) I see for the first time the true nature of this company. I simply receive a boilerplate email saying my request to restore my account has been denied. There is no way to communicate with a human being, no phone number, no email, no chat support. For a company that prides itself on fostering an environment for open and reasonable communication their silence is deafening and the irony is ripe. Doing the right and decent thing appears to be too much to ask of Facebook. As it is now abundantly clear to me that Facebook’s actions reflect beliefs and values in automated decision making and blanket judgements by an isolated and powerful entity rather than transparency, care for their users/community members, and any sort of channel to truly interact and serve the people who they are obligated to.
