The accuracy needed to do precision cuts is lacking. Overall, a fun game but the number and frequency of ads increase to the point you either have them removed or delete the game. If enjoying a game I’m prone to pay to have the ads removed though that still leaves you at the publishers mercy as to how many “game ads” they roll into the developers portfolio as these are not considered ads. The logic of this escapes me which leaves only greed as the motivation. Therein lies the problem with the price being set at $4.99. Since the shift from purchase to “free” games, the cost for entertainment has skyrocketed but $4.99 just to remove ads is high in comparison to other games offering the same. I’ll delete this game as it is neither unique nor enjoyable enough to justify the price. Also, since I’m already paying with the more expensive commodity of time spent viewing ads (money you can make. Time not so available.) to play I’m disgusted being forced to pay an addition monetary amount that is overly inflated. We consumers are be herded into acceptance. This trend needs to be stopped at some point. This is game and price is my limit.
  • This game is really interestingly fun🤔!!!

I downloaded Ultra Sharp a few months ago, I never played it until now. I was waiting for my flight and decided to click on it because I was going through the apps I didn’t need to free up space on my fancy IPone MAX S😁📱!!! Thule game makes you really think of clever ways to slice things in as few moves as possible. I’ve gotten stomped on one particular. The one where the star is much lower that the connected boards, I just accepted 2 crowns out of 3 on that one but I usually get 3 crowns because I’m such a King in my own right👌😁!!! But yea folks, it’s a great app and I highly recommend it to anymore who wants to kill some time👍!!! Ok you guys all take care and never forget ANYTHING is possible if you truly believe in your Vision👁!!! You are the captain of your plane✈️, and where that plane takes you is totally up to YOU🙏!!!
  • Addicting as, (You low the F word)

It’s something different. I love the physics! It’s well thought out, you have to think outside the box for solutions... $3 is kind of steep... Whatever happened to $0.99 apps?? I’d pay $1.99 for this game, because it’s very cool, and inventive... However, $3 for simple graphics, no story, no power ups... I’m not a cheap (same F word as in description title), but if there was more substance. A ‘Vs.’ or ‘Challenge’ mode, a strategic battle slice mode, a one shape ‘practice slice mode’, a mode where they show you a shape, and you have to replicate that shape in so many slices mode, user created level share mode... The list goes on, (I’m available for hire, BTW... 😜). All that would make it worth $3.99!! So far, these one mode... The game itself, 5 stars all day.... The price, 2 stars....
  • So here’s a way to get rid of ads...

    By bossy cooper
At first I had a problem with the ads but then I realized I can enjoy this game without them. I figured this out when someone turned off my WiFi and cellular. So that day I decided to play some of this game and I braced myself for a buttload of ads but miraculously there were none. I checked my phone to see if it had some sort of bug and then I realized that my WiFi and cellular services were both turned off. All in all, the game is fabulous and intricately designed but if you really want to enjoy it with all its glory, turn off your WiFi and cellular services temporarily to rid this game of horrible, life-sucking ads.
  • Obnoxious ads!

    By akaFrankCastle
I have no issues that the free version uses ads (although they are pretty excessive). I do take issue that the ads are so loud with no way of disabling the sound. Even if the game is set to silent, the ads blast you at full volume. I have to put my entire phone in “do not disturb” mode to stop the ad sounds. I would pay to remove ads, but the game isn’t worth $5 to me. The obnoxious ads ruin an otherwise decent game. Dropped another star for the way this app responds when I turned of the data sharing. It puts a reminder at the top of the screen stating how awful I am for wanting privacy. I ignored it, but the app opens the privacy options every few min asking me to please reconsider sharing my data! I also noticed that when I close out of the app, the settings are reverted to sharing data when I log back in. You win game... it’s time for deletion.
  • Hours of fun mixed with hours and hours of ads

By My Nickname is Taken, so...
If you’re patient with ads or you don’t mind paying five bucks to get rid of the ads, this is a great game. Your brain will get a good workout trying to earn a crown by clearing each level in the fewest possible moves. Then your brain will be numbed pressing two X’s on each ad anywhere from one to five times until it clears. I really don’t mind the ads much, but I just want to let you know that they take up about 40 to 50 percent of your playing time. You have been warned, so don’t act surprised by the number of ads. Great game, though. Did I mention the ads?
  • Amazing but a little inconsistent.

    By A.Friendly.Human
I want to start off by saying this game is a very fun game to pass time with. I’ve spent so much time going through this game at Restaurants, at in waiting rooms, etc. The only downsides are that, it is relatively hard for the first maybe 30 40 levels, an then a series of incredibly hard levels hits you, almost impossible to pass without hints or skips, this theme continues constantly, and while I understand having a steady slope of easy to hard for 300 levels with all being unique is impossible, I’d just like it to be not so inconsistent. Do not let it discourage you from downloading though, it’s at the moment my favorite game to pass time.
  • I don’t mind ads but...

    By XyandO
I totally get that a developer needs to sell ads to make a profit on free apps, so the ad after every third level doesn’t bother me. I don’t even mind ads after every other level! The harder the levels get, though, the more tries they take to figure out and when I *almost* have it, and reset the screen and it asks me for the millionth time if I want to watch an ad to get a hint, I get frustrated. In top of that, the hints that watching ads give you, give you the two star solution, not the three, and you have to watch another ad to get three stars. It doesn’t even give you the solution, just gives you the third star, so it really seems like a spammy ad grab app. Not my bag at all, which is a shame, because except for that, I really enjoy the game!
  • Too, too, too many ads

    By Yabba Dabbadoo
The concept behind “Ultra Sharp” is clever and fun, calling on logic and patience rather than noise and violence — but the ads go way beyond annoying: 1. All of the ads are for boneheaded games that no one would want. 2. Every ad shows up twice, back to back, so it requires TWO “x” clicks to close it, not just one. This wastes the player’s time. 3. Every single level of “Ultra Sharp” is followed by TWO ads, so the player spends more time waiting to close ads than he does playing the game. Developers: we know you need to show ads, but please show them one at a time, and please make them SHORTER, so we can enjoy your game more.
  • A great thing ruined

    By Whiplash14
I love this game, fun puzzles that make you think outside the box. And it’s simplicity is awesome because I hate neon flashing obnoxious arcade like layouts. BUT. I understand ads are a necessary evil of free games, but what’s most annoying is the constant “Are you stuck? Do you need help? Do you want a hint! Do you want to skip?” if you try a few cuts to test the results. Or make me watch an ad because I’m working the puzzle out?! Jesus stop sweating me, I know where the hint button is. Update: now the ads are every 4 moves, in the middle of puzzles. Come on, developers. People won’t pay $5, maybe $2, out of stubbornness, after making it through half the game to remove ads. Star removed.
