App Reviews

  • Switching to lime

Their scooters are waaay better. They’re faster and more visible which is important when you’re riding at night. The throttle is way easier to handle and less jerky too. Also, I’ve NEVER had a problem with the Lime app. With the Razor app, let me tell you it is a PLETHORA. The map leads you to scooters that aren’t there and end up wasting your time. And if you can find a scooter and actually ride it (because half the time the scooter doesn’t work) be sure to double check if you ended your ride because even if you press “end ride” sometimes it’ll still go on and charge you for that extra time their app spent being glitchy. Love the concept! It’s just Lime does it better. Here’s $3 on it for free when u sign up: R4EH4P6 (shameless plug)
  • Decent scooters, but horrendous customer service/help function

I love the scooters, but it is a shame that they can’t invest more $$/thought into the app. There is no log of your previous rides, and the help chat is just plain unhelpful! Almost feels like it is deliberate - to dissuade refund requests. You have to stay in the chat section until someone is available unless you have to start all over again... and all that wait just to have Sue tell you that it has to be escalated to someone else. 🤷🏾‍♂️ And what’s up with charging for a ride that lasted 10 seconds? Feel like it’ll be safe to assume there was an issue with the equipment.
  • App does not work

This app does not work. The Advantage to these scooters is the ability to quickly pick one up to get where you are going. This app is not quick to set up, unlike other providers it required a pic of your drivers license, and it does not work with Apple Pay, so you have to manually enter a credit card. After a lengthy set up, every time you try clicking into a scooter the app shuts down. There are unused scooter laying everywhere because of these issues. Many other people I spoke to encountered the same issue. Razor needs to fix this app or get rid of the scooters.
  • Needs Work

Have not been able to use this yet. All of the scooters have vanished from my neighborhood. Also, when you start the support chat you have to stay in the screen or you leave the chat. Makes it kind of difficult to look at what they are talking about in the app when you can’t leave the chat screen and come back. Also, Long Beach is testing this program. Part of the test is that the scooters are supposed to be left in drop off zones but they are not provided on the maps.
  • Doesn’t work at all.

Tried scanning at least 3 different scooters to ride and an error on the pop up keeps saying “needs to be in range, make sure Bluetooth is on!” The app is really buggy and needs to be fixed ASAP. Map shows scooters to be in a particular area and when I get there, it’s no where to be seen (I tried 4 different spots)!!! A little frustrating that I had to take a Taxi home because I was very excited about this and ended up being very disappointed instead...
  • I’d like to give it another shot if you make this right

Today for the 1st time I tried your service. I downloaded the app paid Althea start fee and the scooter could not go, there was another scooter so I ended the ride knowing things happen and I paid the other start fee on the 2nd scooter and nothing... I’d like to get a refund and the issue addressed, if you do so I will give it a 3rd try in hopes it will work but if not the review will stay as I am not a fan of giving away my hard earned money.
  • Horrible experience with Razor scooter

I rarely write reviews for app, but I have to leave a bad review for this one. I downloaded this app simply because there wasn’t a Lime scooter around, and I only found a couple Razor scooters so I decided to give ita try. The first scooter didn’t work at all. The second one worked, but man the design is so horrible. The scooter itself was too short, and the brake react too rapidly so if I didn’t brake really gently, I would’ve flipped over.
  • Seems fun, app and support stink

I’ve had the app for three days. My first ride was fun, then the app wouldn’t scan the next three scooters I tried. The second day it made me do an update. Biggest problem is that three different times it has led me to a persons garage, where they were obviously keeping it for themselves. The app has no in app support or way to report this- so you’re walking around for an hour taking a tour of butthead’s garages.
  • Another great ‘product’ from Razor!

Razor is well known for their scooters and making their Scooters share-able is the best ‘product’ EVER! This ride is smooth. Yes, more so than the other shareable scooters not to mention much cooler looking too!

App is really easy to set up and use. It was convenient locating scooters on the apps gps and the ride was smooth and fun. Definitely will be using this service again.
