App Reviews

  • Disappointing

I though this would be rlly interesting and like a cool puzzle. I was disappointed to see that it literally has numbers for everything. I thought it would be a little tricky too, but when you have numbers on the shape and on the area for the shape it ruins the point and makes it super boring. I could literally put the shape right other the picture and it would automatically go to where it fits. I rlly recommend that you take the numbers out. There’s no point of playing the game when it’s boring because of the numbers. It’s like doing a puzzle when you know exactly where each piece goes and it’s not challenging at all. It seemed like it would be really cool and fun and helpful when I’m bored, but it’s disappointing. I really hope you guys fix this, because if so I will totally be excited to play it. I’ve used other unicorn apps, and I think they are super helpful with boredom or something to do while your waiting. Other unicorn apps usually have more pictures to pick from or you can watch an ad to get some, but this one doesn’t have much. This is my honest feedback I hope you guys fix it.
  • Terrible!

You asked me to give a review so I am. The picture selection is absolutely horrible! This is really for small children and it should have been advertised that way. The pictures that are available are just horrible! Takes about 30 seconds to color one. As an adult that not what I’m looking for. Coloring By Number and Cross Stitch World are the best apps!! I’ve been coloring with Cross Stitch World (don’t let the name fool ya, it is a coloring app!) for a few YEARS! Coloring By Number for several months. Coloring By Number is COMPLETELY FREE.... NO hidden fees, no asking for any money! Tons of pictures. They just gave us 10 more pictures at their FB page today. They do this all the time! Cross Stitch World is awesome!! Earn credits to buy packages, it’s easy! Everyday upload your own pictures AND everyday choose one from a friend who plays. Every Wednesday they also give us free pictures also at their FB page. Both these apps are very much in contact with us players. Coloring By Number is VERY active with their community! Go check these two apps out. I can guarantee you’ll like them!
  • Great concept, poor implementation

I like the concept of this puzzler. However, the implementation of it is a bit lacking. The pieces are along the bottom with the picture to fill in at the top. However, being able to scroll through the pieces is difficult and half the time I was trying to scroll it would pick a piece up instead of scrolling. After picking a piece up the bottom changes to a hint bar where you drop the piece and it automatically places it for you. When it would pick a piece up for me instead of scrolling, I’d let it go, but then it had already changed to the hint bar so the piece was automatically placed. An easier way to scroll through the pieces needs to be implemented (arrows on each end of the scroll bar or something) so that people aren’t accidentally picking up the piece and dropping it in the hint bar. And move the hint bar somewhere else so people that pick up pieces and then drop them aren’t using hints when they’re just mean to let go of the piece.
  • Yet Another Pay Pay Pay App

Like other users, I too ordered this months ago excited to see how beautiful it is and play. Then total disappointment to have to pay for everything except a small handful. I get needing to make money. A very close friend of mine is even an Apple app dev but come on... $480 a year?!? For essentially DIGITAL SHAPE SORTING?!? I would pay up to $20 for all access (I’d even stretch to $20 a year) but never $10 a week or an asinine $480 a year... and then you want us to pay that EVERY YEAR?!?!? Give me a break!!! You’re ridiculous to ask this price! This is geared towards kids and most parents aren’t going to pay that or afford that. Either will most adults. How sad for all the disappointed children. I wish app devs would just make a price realistic. They’d sell a WHOLE lot more subscriptions. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the one puzzle I did do was beautifully done. I’m so sad the pricing is SO ridiculous, I won’t be keeping this one even though I looked forward to it SO much.
  • Pretty . . . . expensive.

    1) I love the idea of these beautiful polygon pictures, but $10 per WEEK!?! Uh, no. There are hundreds of games out there as good, if not better for free and hundreds more for $1, $2 or $5 total. You have to be crazy to pay $40 per month. I’d happily pay a 1-time $5 fee, no more. 2) Unless I’m missing it, non-members get the lion puzzle and 1 other (a mug) for watching a video. That’s it. Granted, I’ve only had the app for a few hours, maybe the “watch a video to color another” option comes around a few times a day, or once a day, who knows. However, based on the fact this is coming from people who think you should fork over $10/week for their app, I’m betting the one I got is all I get. 3) Maybe I missed this too, but it would be fun if there were a toggle switch to turn off (and back on) the numbers - play it jigsaw puzzle style - just trying to guess placement based off shape. It would be a challenging and fun option.
  • Completely unrewarding and not worth it

So, I saw this app in an ad first, which was stupid to begin with since it was one of those “98% of people can’t solve this” and it was one of the easy numbered bird puzzles that only had three completely different pieces left. It got me curious though to see what others they had and if it would be challenging. Absolutely not. I couldn’t play any of the puzzles and there was no free section to try some out like I’ve seen in other games who work this way. After some searching I found to play a free one that I thought would be complex I’d have to watch an ad. Well, at first it didn’t work, making me have to watch a second ad. Then, once I got in, the puzzle pieces were numbered and it took me literally a minute for 40+ pieces. Plus, if you just put them around the area and not where they’re suppose to be, they’ll be snapped into place. I could literally do it in my sleep. As far as I know, there is no way to turn it off. Plus, another ad played once I was done. Secondly, I only get a 3 day free trial and then have to pay $9.99 weekly for unlimited access and no ads. That almost feels like a scam to me, no matter how good the pictures look. Some say this could be relaxing, but get an actual coloring app instead of this garbage. I was hoping for puzzles, not restricted access to anything at all. I would never, ever recommend anyone getting this app.
  • Good game but some issues

This game is amazing! The little pictures are great and the game has some high quality, but had something in mind that keeps annoying me in this app. There are WAY to many ads. It’s either before you do the drawing or after and I think it’s quite annoying, especially if you are using this app for stress relief. Another thing I think is not making this app a 5 star is that almost EVERYTHING we have to pay. I finished all the free drawings and I think I gotta delete it now cause I’m not paying 9 dollars a month, which would be 120 dollars a year, which is so much. But these are tiny little things, i know you guys gotta make that money because a good app needs the good money. But thanks for looking at this and thank you for making this app.
  • Good, just needs a few tweaks

    By #Jjg25
I got this app yesterday and I really like it! However, there are two minor tweaks I think it should have. When you first open the app, you get a message talking about a three day trial, and at first I got confused and thought you had to pay to use the app, shortly realising the "X" a moment later. With another one of your apps, I actually deleted it as soon as I saw this message. Please try to make the "X" more noticeable. My other critique is that the hint thing is annoying. I used up all my hints in the first day by accident. I recommend that you make hints a button in the corner where you tap it and then you select which piece you want to find out. Please consider my suggestions, and other than these little things, I love it!
  • Which one

Ok ok ok. Did this poly art game or the pixel art unicorn come first? When I saw this game I completely freaked out because I love love love poly art. But I was hesitant to download it when I realized that the name and picture for the game are exactly the same except one is pixel and one is poly art! If this is a copy I think I would delete it. If I got you guys wrong then I’ll keep it. Overall I love the game it just that most of the pictures you want to make require member so can you change it so that it’s not basically all of them? I love poly art so I can’t really say that this game is terrible but please say that this is not a name copy because I don’t think that I would want to keep it after knowing that. Thanks😊
  • Great! Just one thing...

I love this app. It is amazing and calming, and I love to use it to relax. My only problem is that after every single drawing there is an ad. It really bothers me, especially since I use this app to be calm. It doesn’t do any good if there are constantly ads playing. Not only are they ads, but they are super long ones and they usually require you to do a demo of the game afterwards, too. The fact that I can’t play this game without ads constantly playing makes me want to not play it, or even delete it and get a different one. It would be ok if the ads played like every five drawings, but after every drawing (and sometimes before, too!) is repetitive and really bothers me. Otherwise the app is great! Thanks.
