  • Shuffle denied

    By Musdean
I’d like to say straight out that I love this game. Some of the words are easily found but others require multiple shuffles. I can see some words that would be successful but can’t get to them without a shuffle. But when I go to reshuffle, the free button shuffle is darkened and I am unable to continue. How many times are you allowed to shuffle before you are denied? If I don’t have the coins necessary (for whatever reason)to purchase what is a person to do? While I hate the adds that are a part of the shuffle, I should not be limited to the number of times I choose to invoke the free shuffle. As a second thought, perhaps the adds could be rotated so one doesn’t have view the same add 6 times in a row. If I already have the game being advertised, or I’m not interested in the game, I shouldn’t have to watch the same add. Change it up each time. Except for these issues, this is really a fun game. The word categories are not easily guessed which makes the search even more challenging. Fix the advertising issue and I give it a 5+. For now it’s a 4.

Just started playing, but so far, so good. Playing has been lots of fun, but since m not certain why you get the puzzle name, like “Things with wings”, after you have finished the puzzle. It would be more beneficial to know the puzzle theme so you would know what kind of words to look for. So far, that’s not been a problem; but later on, as the puzzles become more difficult, it could make thing dicey. Right now, when I find a word that is a legal word, but not part of the theme name, the game puts those words in a list for later, when I can convert them into coins. I’m always ok with getting extra coins, but I think knowing the theme would be more helpful as time goes on & the difficulty degree advances. Even so, it is a fun game and one I would recommend. In fact, I have my husband playing it right now. How can you loose when you can increase your vocabulary & have fun while you’re doing it!
  • More Ads Than Humans Should Tolerate!

    By Shiggitee
Of the dozens and dozens of game apps I have, the game play on this one is really at the top. It’s fun and challenging and I would have given it 5 stars...except for the horrible ads! I understand and support completely the value of advertising/commerce in gaming; however, this is excessive imo. I have no other app that has this level of ad activity. Starting a game, restarting a game, ending a game, winning a game...everything cues an ad. A loud, annoying, multi-part ad which means you have to turn off your phone sound completely or play the game only when you’re alone or in a place that is noisy already. I’m not opposed to paying for ad-free, but it doesn’t seem as though there are very many “towns”/levels to travel through before the game is completed, so I’m not sure it’s worth it. A shame, since this is really a clever game and fun to play...if you can survive the ad assaults!
  • Ads to Shuffle the Letters!? Bonus Words Awarded Once

    By sora.sp
I really loved this game until I started running into a problem. I’d find several words, then there would be no more potential word to find and I had to watch an ad or pay coins to shuffle the letters so I could continue. I think it’s very poor game design. It doesn’t happen every once in a while, but every other game I play or more! I don’t want to sit and watch ads all day or pay a triple the coins I get for completing a level to shuffle the letters. It’s also frustrating that once you find a bonus word, you can’t ever find it again and get credit for it. It makes it discouraging to find a word, get excited, then find out it’s just a bonus word you’ve already found and you get no credit for it. Like, c’mon. I’m deleting the game because the annoyance isn’t worth the game play. I hope I can find a similar game without the same annoyances and poor design.
  • Love the idea BUT...

    By Jshcljgjgokufoydiyfludoy
Absolutely love the idea and the gameplay. Very clever. But I have just one concern. I really dislike apps like these that make you PAY to get rid of advertisements. Look, I’m no expert in games but I do know that there are plenty of other ways to have a successful game then this pay for no ads strategy. I’d rather have you increase the ads then having to pay to banish them if you guys are THAT anxious to put ads in. So I leave you with one question, will you be the first to have a successful game while ALSO finding a better and officiant way to put ads in. That’s up to you, but I high HIGHLY recommend you banish this obnoxious ads strategy. Anyway keep up the good work and try to be the first to stop this. Thank you and goodbye!
  • I agree with previous comments of too many ads.

    By Jeanius60
Too many ads and I seriously don’t believe that a puzzle is solvable unless the message stated pops up. I paid for a hint and with trying every possibility no word was found. Then I closed the game and when I returned even my hint that didn’t work didn’t show any longer. I just returned to the game and shuffled and it still doesn’t work. I have two screenshots but can’t figure out how to post them here. Updating my review after help from the developers. There was an answer for where I was stuck that I was totally missing. I have played more. To avoid ads, I really try not to use any helps and then you only get ads between levels. I’m enjoying playing more and challenging myself more.
  • Fun but annoying

    By Rebel869
This is a fun game but a bit annoying. I don’t like the fact that the clues are all boosters that you have to pay for. For example the category clue is something you have to use your coins as well shuffling the tiles. Also the ads are very intrusive and last the 30 seconds not just 10 like other games. Again you have to pay money to get rid of it. They do have the feature that you can watch an ad to get a free booster which is nice. Another thing I didn’t like was when you are stuck or don’t know your next move there’s no way to restart and there’s no way to know if you’re on right path. It would be nice if there was a prompt saying “you're out of moves please use 1 of the boosters” Other than that it’s a fun game to pass the time
  • Would have been 4 except for:

    By Illinois frustrated
Screen freezes up when the “out of words” screen appears. The watch ad option twirls around and cannot be accessed. If I choose restart, the same thing happens when I again am out of words. Of course the pay to scramble option always works, but will run out of coins fast that way. And—of course there are way too many ads that are way too long. Having to wait a few seconds isn’t too bad, but 25+ is ridiculous. The game is very fun & challenging, but I will not pay, so if I cannot choose the option to watch an ad, I will not pay. Another pet peeve: I have sound turned off so can play when my husband is sleeping, yet the ads all come on with sound. What good is that?! And so annoying. Does not make me want to consider any of what’s being advertised.
  • Would give a 4 except for the ADS!

    By ElCheapador
I paid the $2.99 for the game to be “ad free”. While it’s true I no longer have an annoying wait for an ad to run between every game, I am still forced to watch ads or pay more money if I need to shuffle the letters. Annoying. But not half as annoying as the fact that there is absolutely NO WAY to turn the sound off of the annoying ads!! It’s infuriating. So forget trying to play the game in bed at night while another person tries to sleep next to you. There should be an option to turn ALL SOUND off the game so you can play silently. Most of the ads only have music so there is no needs for the sound to come on. For the love of all things good and holy, change your game so that muting sounds and music in the settings mutes ALL sounds and music. Otherwise it’s a fun game.
  • Too many ads

    By Trish1a
I agree with the above reviewer that paying to disable ads needs to be a thing of the past. Paying for coins is no good either. I also feel that watching ads in order to get coins is ok but if the game requires too many coins to move it forward then decreasing the amount of coins needed is what is necessary. While I found the game enjoyable, having to watch several ads in order to get enough coins to make the game progress was too much. A game should only take a few minutes to progress to the next part of the city, but due to the number of ads I had to watch, it was taking about a half hour to progress to the next part of the city. I’ve deleted this app because I just don’t have the time to watch so many ads.
