App Reviews

  • I wouldn’t.

This app is advertised as a snake word game, where you go through the correct words. But in reality, there is no snake game until you reach level 100. Seriously. Level 100. It was a waste of time. It took me less than 45 minutes to get to said level, because it was so easy. I didn’t struggle to find a word once. If you are older than the age of nine, this game will be too easy. I wanted a challenge. When I actually got to the snake game, it was slow, and my phone crashed a lot. You tried to move it faster, like those other snake games they have. But it wouldn't go fast at all, so in the end, you would die because you try to gain more points, but instead you can’t go fast enough to reach the right word. And 4 year olds would have difficulty playing that, because there are words like “lard” included. What 4 year old knows the word LARD?! It’s not a good app. Just don’t get it. Too many ads, it crashes, it’s slow. If you are an adult or teenager(and I am NOT talking to those 5th graders who think they’re so cool because they have phones and play rap music, because you’re not teens and if you are going into middle school, you’re going to get a rude awakening, because you’re not going to rule the school, and 6th graders think they’re cool but they’re not, they just look ridiculous. You know who I’m talking to) this app is NOT recommended. Thank you for not downloading it. I warned you.

I hate how this app makes you swipe from letter to letter when creating words because a lot of times, it doesn’t recognize the swipe, making you get the word wrong and having to redo it more carefully. A lot of times you have to press down really hard to make it comprehend what you’re swiping. I also highly dislike how you can get bonus words in each round, but sometimes the game doesn’t recognize a real word as a bonus word. For example, you can have a group of three-letter words, and you may go through several three-letter bonus words before you figure out which one actually fits their blocks. I’m working on one of the puzzles right now that has several three-letter words, but when I tried “elf” it wouldn’t take it as part of the puzzle nor a bonus word. And I swear this game makes up some words! I also don’t like how you can’t select which box you’d like the hint to go in; it just goes in order from beginning to end. I didn’t realize how much I hated this app until sitting down to write this, but the fact I felt compelled to write a review in the first place should’ve told me something.
  • This is nothing like it’s advertised as.

I was on Snapchat going through a story when an ad for this game popped up. It seemed like a pretty fun game, there was a snake game where you had to dodge wrong words, a hammer game where you hit the correctly spelled word, hangman, and so on. I saw the ad a couple of times and decided it would be fun to try out so I downloaded it. And it was nothing, and I mean nothing, like it was advertised on Snapchat. It was basically a ripoff word soup game where there are several sets of words you must make with a few letters. Every 10ish levels you would get to play the snake game but when I played it there were no correctly spelled words and there were points where there was no correct answer. Every time I retried I had to watch another ad, and the snake game kept having no correct answer. It was just frustrating. That’s not it though, the hangman game and the nail game were never there. Download it at your own risk. But just understand this, it’s nothing like the game advertised on Snapchat and Instagram. It’s just flat-out false advertising, and that’s exactly what makes me mad about this game. I spent more time writing this review than actually playing the game!
  • Not as advertised. Really read reviews and about game before downloading

I was playing a different game when I viewed an advertisement for this game. The advertisement showed the game where it gives you a word and you have to form a picture of that word by using pieces of other pictures (objects). However, there main focus of the game is a completely different game. I saw it had other games and made the terrible mistake of assuming it would allow you to choose which ones to play. I also saw the game had an overall good rating, so I downloaded it. I’ve been very disappointed by it. The main game is what you MUST play to unlock the other games, and you can’t even continue to play the other games! They’re considered “challenges” and you can only play them for a little bit. I was NOT satisfied and it was nothing like advertised. However, if you know an accurate description of EXACTLY what this game is going to be like, and are interested in playing that, im sure you would like it. I just did not find in the game what I was looking for after seeing the ad.
  • Not what I was expecting.

This game is NOT what is advertised on social media. Advertisements look as though it’s a really fun interactive game. In reality, it’s just a word finding game from jumbled letters. Very generic, but to top it off, you don’t get points for all the words you find. Each level is a little different, but if it shows blocks for 4-5 letter words and you find a 3 letter word, it tells you that it is incorrect. Then, when you do get to the levels that look like the advertisements, they’re repetitive and simple. I’m already on level 120. I’ve MAYBE been playing 45 minutes. I forget which level it asked at, but it asks if you would like to purchase the game to no longer have ads. If you click “no” there is an ad every other round or so. Luckily they don’t seem to be more than 15 seconds at a time. But it’s quite excessive. Quite disappointed.
  • You can play all the games advertised any time you want?

I’ve been playing this game for a while I’m on like level 500 something chapter 70 or 80 something,.. its pretty challenging here and there.. I do like enjoy it slot.. I see so many complaint about not as advertised... after I got past a a few chapters the “pop in” games stopped... but I when to my home page and noticed at the bottom left corner you can press the 4 squares button and play any of those games you want any time? I guess I’m the only one in this whole review thing that’s noticed this??? Weird... maybe you have to get far enough and that will open up?!
  • Great game but...

This is a great game and definitely gets my brain going especially since school is about to start, but the only thing that bothers me really bad is that the false advertising. Like I can remember seeing all these cool games like a hammer game or a game that you choose which word is spelt correctly but that’s not here. There are a few that you get to play but it’s only when you have gotten to a certain level and once you run out of time you are back to finding the words with letters. Maybe you should come up with an update where you can actually have the choice of them because I think that would give you a lot more sales than what you probably have right now. Thank you for taking the time to read to read my review and I really hope you take it into consideration.
  • False Avertising

Like so many people, I saw the advertisement for this through social media. It is nothing like what was advertised. If the games that were advertised are within this app, it would be great for the creators to let people know at what point players can expect to see them, otherwise, there is no reason to continue with the app. Right now it’s just a word spelling game like hundreds of others with way too many ads. Also, there are many “words” that are not real. You just have to keep guessing to complete the puzzles with made up words (by the way, those same words will not be recognized in other puzzles). At least use real words and be consistent. Very disappointing!
  • Time killer

This is a great game as a time killer. Hasn’t gotten very challenging as of yet. My only problem is is all the words that could go into the “extra” box aren’t except for certain ones that the system chooses to go in there. That in itself can make levels go on forever if you have a strong vocabulary like some of us do. But overall a fun game so far. Edit***- this game WAS alright until I started playing it again (been playing daily) when all of a sudden it’s an ad after EVER puzzle when it was every 3+ puzzles. I will now be deleting because of the ads after every puzzle. I could deal with the ads before but this is now ridiculous and obnoxious and I will NOT pay to remove ads when it’s simpler to find other games like this.
  • Daily puzzles.

While I like this game the daily puzzle has a bug. When I go into it, the timer will count down faster than normal as if the time has already passed and it is trying to catch up. It will only count down if I’m in the app staring at it and right now it’s at 2 1/2 hours. It did this yesterday. I don’t want to lose my streak for doing the daily puzzles but I find it annoying that I have to sit there staring at the timer waiting for it to catch up. Having said that, it is a fun game and though some words should be added to the bonus words list I still enjoy it. There are also probably too many ads, but I’ve pretty much gotten over that.
