What is this now?
Now, I think 3 months ago when I played this game, it entertained me well. I had almost all the guns. Until I had my phone in the water for too long... Then 3 months later now, I have a phone again and installed this game again, and I was amazed of how you got some crazy guns, along with some random things that are not guns whatsoever.. But, then I see that some of the guns like the P-90, M16A2, and the MGL-MK1 are now in VIP I’m like what? And, the Glock, man... You just made it so weak I can’t pass some of the challenges for the gun... Now those are some of the reasons I put the 1 Star, But on top of all in the worst update.. This game is LOADED with like endless ads and they never stop coming, like every time I fail I get the same ads nonstop. Also every time I X out of the settings on the top left corner an ad pops up. Every time I get out of the leaderboards an ad pops up. Ads never stop popping up you need to chill out with that. Also... I heard you made this game for money since I reuploaded this game, I can also see that you made prices on the membership and the guns even higher! And $7.99 a week for playing with guns? Ridiculous... You’re getting way too insane for me now, I can’t stand it no longer.
Worst Microtransaction Greed I Have Ever Seen
The game is a standard Phone game that can entertain for a while, but half of the guns that you can earn offer no gameplay advantage, and are simply reskins of other guns. The app is riddled with obnoxious ads that play even after you decline an ad to continue, one plays. This game also offers a premium membership service which is absurd for an app like this. With said membership you remove ads (which you can pay for separately) in game currency, and two guns. Both guns offer no major gameplay change, and one you can unlock for free by watching 25 ads. The membership has a free trial which lasts three days, and then you are charged for a weekly subscription which is over $7 per week. A subscription to a streaming service like Netflix is cheaper than this disgusting mess of microtransactions. There is also a terrible pricing system for guns that you can buy with only real money. There is a gun for an absurd $5, but for the low low price of just $99 you can get the same gun but it looks gold. When I first saw this I was so disappointed that I almost uninstalled the app right then and there. I hope they remove these terrible business practices from this game.
Is this legal?
I actually quite enjoyed this game for a little while. It had some nice visuals and a good concept. But then I realized something. This game exists solely for the purpose of making money. First of all, the game is riddled with ads. Did you lose? Here's an ad! Did you click a button? Here's another ad! Did you see an ad? Here's an ad! And if that wasn't bad enough, the micro transactions are ABSURD. First of all, there is a gun in the game that is pretty much the 2nd gun you get in the game. Why I mentioned this is because of the 99 dollar version of the same exact gun that is only a reskin. As an indie game developer, I wonder why I even bother when microtransaction-riddled, ad spamming garbage like this can make piles and piles of money. And I didn't even mention the "premium version" of the game. Basically it's a 28$ a month membership that removes ads, gives you some ingame currency, and gives you one completely useless gun. Imagine walking into an arcade and seeing a game that you can pay 28$ a month to get an item in the game. Remove the micro transactions and this is a 5 star time-waster game. But at its current state, I refuse to give this anything above a 1 star.
The Best Hyper Casual Game in App Store.
This game is great. It’s simple yet addictive mechanics are so fun and make we want to come back over and over. The menu is simple unlike other games which makes it easy to navigate and no intimidating at all. The variety of guns is giant but all of them are unique in different ways. And most of them can be unlocked through just playing the game. My only complaint is the absolute overload of ads but this can be resolved by paying the $4 it costs to remove ads or turning off cellular data. I keep finding myself coming back to this game as it’s fun and it looks good. Some games on the App Store look like they were made in 2 weeks, but this one looks like there was a lot of effort put into it. With guns getting added every so often (and I mean OFTEN) and it’s repetitive yet fun game style; this game never gets old. 5 Stars.
Fun physics ruined by GREED.
First time in my life I’ve seen an ad within an ad. Not to mention full screen ads that can pop up at the start of a run, causing you to instantly fall and lose. At least make the game pause when an ad is displayed. Furthermore, the ‘free’ weapons (aside from the pistol you start with) aren’t completely free. You have to watch 25 ads, spam your friends with referrals, and/or follow social media profiles of the devs. It’s invasive, for one, and a lazy way to get the end-user to do free advertising for the developer. It’s disgusting. There are no options whatsoever. No sound dial or on/off, no quality options, no nothing. You can’t complete all the achievements unless you pay OVER $100!!! Yep, that’s right. Achievements include unlocking all weapons, even the premium ones. Not to mention that some of the premium content can ONLY be purchased with real money. These guys are as greedy as the rest of ‘em. Don’t waste your time, or money. This developer, in my opinion, doesn’t give a crap about the player, THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR WALLETS!! Uninstalled, and I wish I could give 0 stars.
Not saying it’s a bad game, but...
Do you honestly think that premium is worth $7 A MONTH?!? That the golden AK is worth nearly $20?!? The golden rule I always follow with any in game purchases is that if I think something will provide me with ATLEAST one hour of content, that I MAY consider buying it. This however, is literally an animated 2D gun... There’s no way you could ever convince me that a single 2D gun is worth $20, especially when you could buy so many better things with that. Heck, you could buy an actual game that would give you LOADS of content. But instead the devs are delusional enough to think that a picture of a gun is worth more than several cups of coffee, a full video game, dinner at a cheap restaurant, etc, the list goes on.
As for the gameplay, it’s alright I guess. It’s very similar to your generic mobile game. (Start, try to get as far as you can while collecting coins to buy expensive items, repeat). Just seems kind of boring to me... No end goal or anything?
Devs: Why So Greedy?
By Intensive Purposes
You have a simple, easy to learn/hard to master game with decent mechanics. That’s a good start, you already have a leg up on a lot of your competitors. The people know TINSTAAFL. We expect an ad here and there. Developers like Ketchapp understand the balance that needs to be struck. They play plenty of ads but they don’t stuff them down our throats. Less is more. I’ve actually downloaded several of the games they have advertised because they found that balance. I picture you guys like a lame, small-scale, wannabe Wolf of Wall Streeters except you don’t have a Jordan Belfort. You’re his stupid friends. How else do you explain such poor choices? You’re disrespecting your core demographic and insulting their intelligence. You’re the bank robber who gets caught because he insists on taking the rolls of nickels. You think you’re going to get rich off of one or two half assed games but your not. Act like you care about your business and do better. Otherwise, I’ll see ya when you tank this company and come back with a new name.
Good game, but a terrible flaw...
By Day-Z Genre Finatic
I’ve put a solid 10 hours into this game so far. I’ve unlocked 7 guns (not including the revolver), and have completed all the challenges for them. The game is pretty fun.
However, there are two massive problems to the game. The first one is the countless advertisements I suddenly began to see after the latest update. I did an experiment where I played for 30 minutes to see how many advertisements I would watch. I watched 34 adds, not including the adds I watched to get extra coins after each death (Which tallied up to 6). That’s an abysmal figure, and I actually spent about as much time watching adds as I did playing the game.
The second problem: micro transactions. More than half of the guns in this game require microtransactions to unlock, and boast no real in game advantage (besides the $20 AK-47, which I generally see used by players to top the leaderboards). There’s also the premium subscription, which disables adds (you can purchase that separately), gives you 2000 coins a day (I can do that in under 5 minutes for free), and unlocks two guns (which function like reskins of guns you can buy with credits). And how much does this cost? After a 3-day free trial, the premium service costs over $28 a month. I can purchase any reputable streaming service, even cable, for significantly less.
If it weren’t for these shoddy business practices, I would rate the game 5 stars because of how fun it is.
Ads are atrocious. Physics are Bad.
The amount of ads in this game are atrocious. Every time I open the game, I immediately get an ad. After playing once, I get an ad. After getting a new high-score, I get an ad, etc. it’s a good game, but I have to pay $4 just to get rid of the ads? Bro, this game is not worth that much and the developers know it! I would maybe pay $2, but I am not about to drop $4 on a phone game just to get rid of ads. I can go to steam and get a game that has had 9000 more hours of development for $5. This is ridiculous. In fact, I’m going to make a random generating game just like this, but replace it with different types of farting cats. Catch you fags in 2 weeks.
The physics are ruined by the constant crap with the gun staying upside down on automatic weapons. Accidentally fire an extra round? The gun stops spinning and is stuck shooting up, ending your round. Literally broken spawns for ammo at the 250 mark. I have to go 60 meters before I even see an ammo pickup.
Too many ads, but...
It’s a good game with a lot I potential, but with all the ads it renders the game unplayable by many. When u first get in the game ur met with ads just by not even taping on anything. When u tap to play ur met with a ad, when u die ur met with a ad, when u buy stuff ur met with a ad, when ur just playing the game in general ur met with a ad. The game constantly begging u to buy there “diamond tear” which is 7:99$ a WEEK and all u get is 3 weapons. To me this is just a money hungry game trying to get u to tap ANYTHING and BOOM ur met with a ad. If u have a lot of patients and like these kinda games then yea it’s for u. But for me, it’s annoying waiting 30 seconds just to play the game that ur probably gonna die in 5-10 seconds then have to wait 30 seconds again for the ad to end then u repeat. So yea I give this game a
