Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and locate the search bar. Now type AT&T WatchTV in the search bar and hit Search. You will easily see the app. Click on AT&T WatchTV application icon. A window of AT&T WatchTV will open and it will display the app in your Emulator Software. Hit the Install button and your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
Next, you will see the "All Apps" icon.
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the AT&T WatchTV icon. Click on it and start using the application.

  • The app will not let me sign in when I go to the help center

    I don’t know why but every time I go to the help center and it asks me to long in, it will not let me! It takes me right back and asks me to long in or click my id. Which I do but then just directs me back to the log in. Okay and I’m wondering why when I go to watch certain shows like the walking dead it won’t allow me to watch the one from last night! Also on different series it will only have so many that you can watch not the whole series?!? The thing is I have to watch this tv from my phone! So I can’t stop and turn it on when the walking dead is on, so I figured I could watch at my own leisure? I really hope as this progresses that all that I’m talking about will be available!! I pay a lot of money for my phone service! So much to where I can’t afford the tv service and internet. So getting the extra so I can have this tv and the hot spot seemed like a good deal! But I really don’t watch the tv much because it’s on my phone! I’m wondering if I got Apple TV if I will be able to screen mirror it?? Thank you.

    Face value it’s a good app. But the first episode of the first show I tried to watch had a very annoying technical issue. Basically, the episode played, went to the first commercial break. When it came back, it played normally for a few seconds, then the audio cut out and the audio from the beginning of the episode started playing over the video for the present part of the show. I tried turning off the app then back on and it didn’t fix it. I tried fast forwarding and rewinding, but that just cause a blank screen and the audio worked but was still the wrong section of audio. This makes the shows totally unwatchable. Please fix and the rating will be more then one star but I can’t rate higher due to this issue. Update: this app is terrible. Between the annoyingly long load times and 5 million ads that play on the numerous ad breaks, they still have not fixed the audio issue. It seems to revolve around the ads. Almost every time an ad plays, the audio to the show you’re watching either goes out of sync, plays audio from a previous section of the show or the audio cuts out all together. This seems to happen after ad breaks, but will also glitch out after receiving a text, phone call or any other notification on the phone. This is a seriously bad technical glitch that makes the show totally unwatchable when paired with 7-8 ad breaks and makes the app absolutely unusable.

    This is a joke! I signed up before the unlimited plan went through. They tried to charge me. I went to chat to delete my acct. Fine. Weeks later the charge goes through! They tell me to start another acct. The new one also wants payment. Finally, someone says my acct isn’t showing that I have unlimited, even though 6 different people have verified I have unlimited. I spent about 6 hours on chat with 6 different people and still cannot watch Watch TV. I was told I’d have someone from the tech team contact me within 24 hours to fix this and a refund. 6 days later I had to contact them again! I finally got my refund. I won’t be surprised if I’m charged again next month. About two and a half months into this and no one has contacted me even to say “Hey, we’re sorry. We’re working on this!” I am done. I’m shopping around for new phone service I’m so irritated even though I’ve been with AT&T since 2008. When I switched to unlimited I was told I could use it with the Roku....nope. 🤬🤬🤬🤬
  • Once you get it to work, all down hill from there

    So you get access to content. Cool. The streaming has been pausing, audio is out of sync with video, the audio doesn’t play at all, or the most bewildering the show starts over in random places. I have confirmed that it wasn’t my WiFi causing some buffering issue, no. The app has a glitch and the fact that they know about it and haven’t fixed it just tells us that you shouldn’t rely on a phone company for TV! Their attention is obviously split. They are using this feature/offer/app like milk at the grocery store. Very disappointed. If it is not fixed soon I am inclined to move over to Verizon just because I refuse to do business with companies that do lots of things poorly. I would rather do business with lots of companies that offer a great singular product. I haven’t even mentioned the actual app navigation, sorting of content or the weird not-really-helpful “bookmarks”.

    This app is really bad and the interface is horrible. Most importantly, volume goes out constantly or is not synced correctly, the app freezes constantly, after restarting it does not save your place, it will not let you fast forward in an effort to start from where you left off (before it crashed), it does not keep track of episodes you have watched or what episode you are up to, it is very difficult to search for content. The worst thing is that there is content here that I would like to watch, but they make it such an ordeal to get through one episode of a program that I just give up. This is sold as part of AT&T’s plan but really should just be a free beta until they get it working. And they don’t seem to be in a hurry to do so. And they won’t let you watch anywhere else, like in a browser on the web for instance. Forced to use an the app which doesn’t work. Just bad.
  • Pretty good when it works

    It’s ok for what it is, but can be really glitchy at times when the video randomly freezes or playback skips around for some odd reason and you just have to completely kill the app and hope it goes back to the place where you left off watching when you restart. Also there is WAY too much on demand content that when you click to play it you just get the error message “We’re having technical issues” over and over and over. Been trying to watch a certain movie for a couple of weeks now and all I get is that error message every single time I click on it. Also, what’s the deal with certain content where an episode of a show will air and a week later it’s still not available to stream? Kind of maddening.
  • Just launched earlier today

    I got a text this morning saying that because of my AT&T cell phone plan, I had free access to AT&T Watch TV, and I can stream without using data! It includes only about 30 live TV channels, but the streaming selection for On Demand content is actually pretty nice. The UI is good as well, much better than Sling TV or Direct TV Now. This streaming service has not even been out for twenty four hours, but if they keep adding content, and fix this bug where every once in a while I get a “too many simultaneous streams” kind of message, even though I’m the only one logged in, I can see this taking off, especially for AT&T customers. (Also, Apple TV support day 1 makes me so happy!)

    Since it's a new service, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but it still has a ways to go to be great. I was disappointed to see that I'm very limited on what I'm able to watch. I thought I was going to be able to catch up on some old shows, but not so much. Since they expect you to watch live, reminders for when favorite shows come on would be helpful. Streaming multiple devices at once would also be nice since we have several devices. I had hoped to be able to connect directly to the different network sites to stream from them, but they apparently don't have a deal with them to do that. My son loves being able to watch his favorite Cartoon Network shows so that's a plus.
  • Using on iPhone the menu

    Using the menu or trying to navigate through the app is terrible. Trying to change episodes is confusing. And trying to cancel is maddening. I guess if they make the subscription too difficult to figure out how to cancel then people won’t. The app itself has little account settings. Not able to cancel there. Looked on AT&T for a charge to my phone bill as it is linked to a phone number not there. Looked in my phone settings on any subscriptions not there. The AT&T watch app keeps taking me back to the AT&T app for info to cancel, but not there either. What a pain!! Spent over an hour on chat and they don’t have any idea how to cancel. FYI most likely in your PayPal that is where I was finally able to cancel after about 3 hrs and speaking with an AT&T agent and an hour on chat. This service is a joke.
  • Unable to use

    I have an unlimited cell plan with att and, like other reviewers, can't log into this. I chatted with customer service and apparently, it's only for those that are NEW subscribers on the att unlimited plan plus more. I am considered grandfathered in so I don't get access. I have been a loyal customer with Att since 2007 and this is what I get?! I am considering switching to a different provider just because of this. I do not want to subscribe to direct tv which is another way to access this as an add on because during my free trial, I had a terrible experience. I have sling TV which I am happy with and have never had a problem Update: I accidentally signed up before knowing I didn't qualify for a free account and this thing is impossible to cancel! The chat conveniently does not work to cancel, on the phone now trying to get though to support, smh
