  • Amazing game, but ads kill it

    By Diamondsheep19
This game is super fun, not gonna lie. I may delete the app due to this one following reason: ADS. Every time you mess up 5 flips, the game gives you an ad as your reward for failing. This is super annoying, as when I found a sweet spot to flip, if I failed, an ad would pop up, and ruin my streak. Other times, the ads completely crash the app or open Safari unwantedly. Instead of the 5 fails get an ad mechanism, what if there were amplifiers that users could optionally do for 3 minutes to boost all their knives or something? If the user doesn’t do the boosters, how about if it gives you an ad every 5 minutes? Another complain that people have is how they keep the app running in the background, and they can collect the money all their auto flippers did. They complain about how if they want to multiply it, they watch an ad. The ad has a chance of crashing the game or opening Safari. What if the game put the money right into your money count, then after it does that, it would tell you to multiply it if you wanted. This game, again, is SUPER addicting, but there are still issues. Fix all of the ones I listed, and I would be playing this way more. Thanks for reading, even though basically nobody is going to see this. :P
  • Lot of promise but progression too steep

    By Parkitcharlie
I downloaded this app because I love pointless clicker games and Voodoo’s other game: Idle Balls has had my attention for weeks now. At first it seemed promising, flipping the knives yourself actually takes a certain amount of skill and makes the active participation fun which is very different for others in the genre. I was also happy to find that this game has backgrounds that unlock when you hit certain achievements. My problem with the app stem from two places. 1. Ads: There are ads set to play if you fail to flip your knife correctly five times and this gets seriously frustrating when you first get a new knife. The option to remove ads is cheap but most people don’t want to drop money on an app they aren’t invested in and the ads make it kinda hard to get invested in the first place. 2. Progression is HARD: In a vein similar to some other clicker games, (Adventure Capitalist comes to mind) new knives are not automated when you first get them. Problem is, the cost of switching a knife to auto-flip is often astronomically more than just buying new knives. Overall Idle Flipper has the makings of a great clicker but awkward progression and ad filled flow make it just another app of hundreds
  • If I could rate it zero, I would

    By Waterboy2002315
Don’t get me wrong, I love games like this. It combines some skill with the pointless “wait and get money” aspect. But there are a few things that made me delete the app. 1. The 5 failure ad campaign is ridiculous. This is because the ads might be short, but I’ve had too many of them crash the game and my phone. 2. The ad campaign also opens websites that again, crash my game and phone. I know you can pay $2.99 for ad free, but slamming ads into my face because I failed so many times trying to learn how to flip the new “knife” I just bought. 3. I was expecting the app to be played in horizontal mode as well as portrait. As I did see a lock like “toggle” in the “settings” it did nothing when clicked. 4. Again with the ads, some of them have sounds or music that automatically play through my silent mode on my phone. Very unappreciated, annoying, and could possibly get people in trouble. So thank you ads for not only forcing me to look at your product, but to also be bombarded by sounds that I absolutely did not want to hear. And to conclude, I understand the app maker doesn’t make the ads. But the should have the power to choose. So I’m asking this, choose ads that won’t crash the game and phones, and more people will keep the app.
  • Fix the App Ads

    By Only on Tuesday
While entertaining, the ads create a huge flaw that crash the app. Letting it go idle for a long period of time, then watching the ad for x2, ad websites pull me out of the app mid 30 second advert. Go back to the game, and it’s like the last 24 hours of idle time never happened. 0 points. I’m at a point where I need to flip the knife 10,000 times(Not perfect landing) to afford the next knife. Idle time is required to get close. Can’t do that if the app crashes every single time and erases my points. Edit:this seems to be fixed. But a new issue has arised. After letting it be idle, I attempt to get 2x the points by watching the ad. Lo and behold 30 seconds later, I get zero points! Collecting normally works fine, but if you have an option for double points, and I choose that option, I should get double points, not zero. Fix it
  • It got me addicted

    By T-rev111
When I first started playing this game I honestly thought to myself that it was going to be useless because I saw it on an ad on instagram but I downloaded it and I’ve been playing it for about 2 weeks straight it’s not the best graphics but I’m a 8bit kind of guy I like styles like that and the progression aspect of this game is what I think keeps bringing me back I open my app and have 2.9sx what ever sx stands for and I just can’t wait to buy the next knife I’m only 3 away from having all the knives and I hope they keep adding so I don’t have to stop good game in my opinion I play it everyday and usually open the app every 2 hours
  • Some thing good and some things bad

    By Swahicvlydcjjccv
Started playing the game and progressed fairly quick. I bought a few knives with auto flip to make money for me while I was working or whatever, opened the app up after not playing in a while and had made a huge amount of money offline and when I tried to watch an ad to collect my money, something would interrupt the ad and it would open the App Store, and when I opened the app again I never got my money. So far Iv lost about 3 quadrillion dollars due to the automatic open of the App Store during an ad to collect my money. Really hope this will get fixed soon.
  • Disappointed at times..

By Could be SOO much better
At times in the app I try to much before I go to sleep at night, upgrade my autofips and wait to wake up to collect a whole lot of money. It’s happened to me 3 times. Today I had 20c to collect, and clicked double the money. And the app crashes at times.. and it makes no sense that your points restart, and don’t collect shay you were supposed to just because you didn’t hit collect because it crashes. I think it should automatically be collected, but have the option to double it. Because easily 18+ hours of autoflippong gone to waste. I just think that should be fixed
  • Fun game, some ads pull you out of the app completely

    By Mahfocka
The game is great but the app has ads that are capable of pulling you out of the app completely, opening safari and giving you a fake pop up add like you would expect from a malicious or porn site.... the games fun, it’s an idle clicker game that actually requires some skill when you play it, but the ads the developers allow on it make it unplayable for me. If it was a regular ad that simply lets you exit out of it after a few seconds that would be fine. But taking me to a web page that I feel puts my $700 device it risk is not. I enjoyed the game for 10 minutes and I’m deleting it
  • Like clockwork,an Ad EVERY 2 mins,SO Rediculous

    By Squeeeeeeeeeeps
Why cant developers have some faith in there creations...put so effort into them and be patient and you will get a return? Tired of hearing, well we gotta pay the bills so we MUST use Ads for compensation, everything costs $ ya know? Anyone with a successful type of bussiness will tell you it requires time and patience? A few Ads here n there is fine but this was excessive to say the such thing immediate success and for those who disagree, give it time and we’ll see whos still around long term! Theres a saying...”...Even the biggest n brightest fires fizzle out when the fuel runs out!” Somethin like get the point...hopefully? Just focus on the customer and the reward WILL come....😉
  • Pretty good game

    By Plaid11
This game is fun overall and one that I will continue to play. There is one problem that I have come across so far though. If I open the game and watch an ad so I can double my income while I was away and I have to close out before it’s finished, I won’t even get the regular amount. So because I have something come up that I have to do something else, I don’t get my days worth of income...I get 0. Hopefully they can fix this and then this would be a 5 star game. Aside from that, it’s a good game.
