App Reviews

  • Obsessed

I am on this app at least once to twice a day!!! :) I’ve grown up with astrology all of my life, my father and his fiancé are both astrologists. Ive been exposed to so many different types of astrological programs and there are only a handful that are this accurate! There are so many parts of this app that I just love. The breakdown of each sign correlating with the various houses and planets. It is not just some vague blanketed “daily reading” of each sign but in depth readings of my daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly aspects of life. What makes this app even cooler is being able to invite your friends&family to join and then see the compatibility between you&them. However, I had to knock one star off because the app is only available for iPhones. I was so excited to share it with my father and his fiancé but neither have apple products so they can’t use it, which is the the first thing I thought of when my friend introduced me to this app. Other than than that restriction I LOVE IT!
  • Beautiful, But Not Perfect

I think this app is super unique in that it does your entire natal chart, and the way they do a daily horoscope seems infinitely more credible than most (if not all) horoscope apps. However, I wish the transits section was a bit more clear and condensed into one summary rather than multiple sections. Right now, there is so much going on in that part of the app that I feel like I’d have to take notes to understand it all. It gets especially confusing when a transit is said to be going on for many months at a time, but gets lost underneath ones that only last for a day or two. It also is challenging when the same types of transits are repeated multiple times. Either that is indicative of the strength in that situation, or it is some kind of discrepancy. Regardless, it is still very confusing. I have such high hopes for this app, and I hope it continues to improve.
  • Love this app

I’m new to astrology but this app delivers information in a way that’s easy to understand. It’s a little repetitive at times, and I’m not crazy about the newest update. Switching to a new page to read the aspects is not as convenient as tapping to expand, and it seems less organized. I liked the “summary” of luck/changes/frustrations instead of scrolling to what I’m looking for (and having to continually hit “what else is happening” - are those less significant aspects? Less recent ?) There’s also not much of an introduction.. mainly stumbling around until you get the hang of it. (What order are the aspects in? Length? Importance? More/less recent?) Overall I love the app and the information it provides, I think the structuring needs a bit of work though.
  • Lovely, but updates need improvement

    By jenek90
I love this app! It’s great to have a beautiful astrology/horoscope app that integrates the entire natal chart AND let’s you check on, and compare with, friends. My main frustration is with the update screen. I would love to see a clearer separation of daily (short-term) updates and longer term updates. I don’t need to see the longer-term updates given the same level of visual hierarchy (they can become less visible after I’ve seen them once). I also find the boxes with the planetary symbols and one-word descriptors very confusing and not all that intuitive. Do they link to different updates than what’s already at the bottom of the screen? Or the same ones? There’s a lot to keep track of there. Thank you for your constant improvements and for listening to feedback so far!
  • Best Astrology App I’ve Found

    By GG245777543236
I love everything about this app it is far superior to any of the other apps I’ve downloaded and deleted after feeling they were rather basic and meh. Costar is engaging and interesting especially for someone who wants to learn more about transits and the world beyond your magazine style Sun sign horoscope. My only wish would be... an added capability to manually add someone if you know their birth date and time. I sent invites to many and only got 3 connections because people are wary of this sort of thing. Also it’s fun to check compatibility with friends, family, coworkers and love interests but not all of them are the types to have an astrology app on their phone
  • Mostly super awesome but there’s room for improvement

I’ve been looking for an app like this for so long! I really love how detailed it is, while still being accessible to beginners (like myself). I would love to see a daily summary section, though. There are a lot of different moving parts, and some of the phases last for months, while some last for days, so it’s hard to sort through which information is new and relevant for today, vs which info is steadier and over a longer period of time. I’d love a description page, kind of a legend, for newbies like me who don’t know what quincunx and sesqui-quadrate mean. Also, my personal preference would be to have the changing horoscopes be the main page I see when I open the app instead of my natal chart reading, since that stays the same. It would be cool to add a lunar phases page as well that could be for women tracking their menstrual cycles, but that’s a while extra thing. Maybe a pro feature? :) Overall, an excellent (and beautiful!) app that’s a pleasure to use and provides thorough information of the cosmic weather, while still being accessible enough for beginners. Thanks guys!

I think that astrology is a difficult thing sometimes to wrap your mind around. We all find identifiers and things to make sense of who we are as people. This app helped me get into astrology, its information is incredibly accessible. I make my friends download this app and I have yet to find someone who doesn’t somewhat enjoy it. From a technical perspective, it’s a great app. There aren’t any glitches, the updates are readily available, and they don’t bombard you with notifications. The app is only in black and white, I would maybe suggest making the middle comparability feature a light grey. The abrupt shift from white to black is a little intense.
  • Beautiful App, Very enticing but needs minor tweaks

    By Silkybabybat
First off if you’re barely getting into astrology or even if you’re experienced with astrology this app is great and easy to use all while providing necessarily information. I love this app mainly due to the feature of being able to add friends and see compatibility between my friends and I... BUT what would be amazing is if I could add a second chart for my significant other, younger siblings, etc. I also suggest that the default should go to the daily updates tab because that is the newest information available, the daily updates should be organized in a way where I do not have to click each transit separately for a description. More so of... tapping each header and being presented the information for each header. Instead of scrolling past those boxes and being presented with the transits. Please, please put the transits underneath each section instead! Overall the app is genuinely stunning and aesthetically pleasing. I very much enjoy and appreciate the insight it provides in my life.
  • Interesting approach

This app is very refreshing divergence from mainstream astrology apps. I hope they will keep improving. Would have gladly paid for additional features. Sign up was confusing because on iPhone X I saw myself forced to first set a password before entering my phone number because of an interface glitch. Curiously, the app doesn’t seem to recognize a difference in interpretation between retrograde and direct planets. Also, planets that are within 4 to 6 degrees from the next house cusp are generally considered to reside in the next house or at least to have impact in two houses, not just in their calculated sign. Looking forward to seeing Co-Star improve.

the concept behind this app is very unique and i love how the app is simple enough to understand for both amateurs simply checking their horoscope, and for people who are more into astrology and have done their research. I also love that we can add our friends and check out their natal charts! super cool! with that being said, I used to love this app and check it every day for my new summary, but recently i’ve been checking it and it appears that the summary rarely changes. the app has also gotten a bit muddier to me with the transit cards you have to click on and it’s frustrating that some of the cards repeat the same thing! I really was a huge fan of the app, but now it’s just confusing to use and i’m tired of reading the same cards every day :/
