Using Uconnect on your Windows computer is actually very easy but if you are new to this process, you will definitely need to pay attention to the steps listed below. This is because you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We will help you download and install Uconnect on your computer in 4 simple steps below:

1: Download an Andriod Software emulator for Windows

The importance of the emulator is that it emulates or immitates an android environment on your computer, making it super easy to install and run android apps from the comfort of your PC without buying a phone that runs android. Who says you cannot enjoy both worlds? To begin, you can download such an emulator app made by too top dogs in the space.
A. Nox App . OR
B. Bluestacks App .
Personally, I recommend the "B" option as Bluestacks is very popular so if you run into any trobles using it, you can find good solutions on Google or Bing (lol).

2: Now Install the Software Emulator on your Windows PC

If you successfully downloaded the Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe, go to your Downloads folder on your computer or anywhere you ususally store downloaded files.
Once you have find it, click it to install the application. It should start the installation process on your PC.
Click Next to accept the EULA License agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application.
If you do the above correctly, the Software will be successfully installed.

3: How to Use Uconnect for Windows PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and locate the search bar. Now type Uconnect in the search bar and hit Search. You will easily see the app. Click on Uconnect application icon. A window of Uconnect will open and it will display the app in your Emulator Software. Hit the Install button and your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
Next, you will see the "All Apps" icon.
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Uconnect icon. Click on it and start using the application.

App Reviews

  • Not impressed. Jeep Grand Cherokee

    By underarmour88
The only thing that really works is a vehicle report. The remote start feature doesn’t work more than 99% of the time. I got my Jeep to start once. This app has major problems and the developers don’t seem to want to fix it. I definitely won’t be doing more than the free trial because this is not worth paying for. Fix the problems
  • Worst car companion app

    By the aaron22
It takes ages for anything to load. Out of the 50 times I’ve tried to remote start using the app, it’s only worked 5 times. I no longer bother to use the app since it’s more of an inconvenience. Chevy and other companies have way better apps.
  • Stop logging me out !!

    By Florida-Atari
Stop logging me out of the app it’s most annoying to have to keep on relogging back in. It totally ruins the convenience of the app. It makes a quick request to start the car and cool it off a real chore. Also vehicle locator doesn’t work properly. I have just returned from Orlando and the locator still thinks my Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit (not a cheap vehicle) is not in my driveway but over 100mikes away in Boca Raton which is where I was parked 2 weeks ago !!!! October 2018 Update: App updated but still can not locate my Jeep. I am sitting at a restaurant looking at it in Palm Bay Florida and it still thinks it is in Boca Raton.......
  • What’s New?

    By Gougviyc
Fixed crash issue on login? Um ... NO YOU DIDN'T. Nice try though. iPad app crashes constantly on startup. Zero stars. UPDATE 3/26: They just came out with yet another update, supposedly with bug fixes. Yet still couldn’t manage to fix the crash on login. Wow! Hire some S/W engineers already. I can’t wait for the developer response: Dear valued customer, we don’t give a crap ... UPDATE 4/16: New update. “Bug fixes.” Wow. Surprise surprise ... same old story. UPDATE 10/16: Another new update. Guess what? Still can’t quite fix that same old crash on login. Maybe 17 more updates from now?
  • Trash

App is garbage. Plus you can’t even use the Apple Watch app without the phone open to the app, so what’s the point! Everyone I exit out of my app on the phone it immediately disconnects and has an error message. It’s crap we have to pay for this service
  • No good

    By LMoonbeam
This app is ridiculous. My car is right outside my house and Uconnect can’t find it. Doesn’t work at all. Jeep needs to go to onStar. My husband has no problems with his car which has onStar. If you want to buy a Jeep don’t expect to be able to use Uconnect.
  • Can’t open

    By Crosby Oz
This application is riddled with bugs are still burns not want to open after two days. The older version of Uconnect work very well. I don’t know what is wrong with this particular version but I’m very unhappy with it.
  • Poor Connectivity

    By MisterMikeMidwest
It would be nice if the remote start capability actually worked. Even in the Chicago area, where catching a signal should not be a problem, it only actually works around 20% of the time.
  • Waste of money

    By Butch337
Was trying to figure out what was faster, turning on a blackberry or getting ur car to start from this app ... it’s pretty much the same!!! waste of money
  • App will not open

    By timberdrummer
The last app was riddled with bugs but at least I could open it.
