  • Awesome Game

    By SterlingCD侍
I used to think this game was an Overwatch Animated Remake but once I stared playing it with friends and new updates came out week and week, it it now my and most every gamer in the world favorite game! I love this game so much and how it will get updates every week so the game doesn’t get boring and how new cosmetics come to the game and all. It’s just great, and when I heard they were making it for mobile, my jaw dropped because I didn’t think that would ever be possible and nose that it’s out this early and how it is, I’m really impressed, now about the game, is it so much more that I thought it would be, it may be hard to control and all but for and mobile game, you can’t have PC skills on a small screen but for what it does do, it is great, it’s smooth, stable, clean, not may bugs at all. And just for a beta, I’m really impressed. My only concern is the shoot button, I hate that it is on the left side and not the right because it is hard to move and shoot at the same time. I know you can tap the right side but if there was an actual button on the right side that we could hold it just press to shoot, that would be great. Or if in the future, y’all could make a custom control setting were you can customize your control. But overall, great game in general and I love it, keep it up! 👍🏻

After playing a few rounds (and winning one!) this is the Fortnite you know and love nearly perfectly ported to iOS. However, there were three opportunities for improvement I noticed. First, the autoaim doesn’t seem as smooth as it could be. Maybe instead of pulling the crosshair towards the enemy it could redirect player view movement? (E.g. I move diagonally down and to the left when the enemy is actually to the left, so the game acts as if I was panning to the left alone). Second, framerate. Yes, I understand this will be a tough nut to crack, but after getting used to both Fortnite PC and Rules of Survival on iOS at 60 FPS, it is tough to work around the increased input lag and decreased visual information provided by a 30 FPS lock. Maybe the game flip off vsync for 20 seconds or so when the player enters a firefight against another nearby enemy? That way, the improved reaction time of 60 FPS wouldn’t be ruined by the resulting throttle to 15. Third, instead of double tapping to continuously shoot, why not use Force Touch and the Taptic Engine to simulate a clickable joystick? Wherever the view changing finger is, they need only press to fire. Additionally, press to jump would be useful. For inspiration, look to the iPhone X’s flashlight and camera buttons on the lock screen.
  • Ultimate Culmination of Games on the App Store

This is by far the best game that has ever been on the App Store. Rules of Survival, Knives Out, Survival Royale, they all have there place on my iPhone, but Fortnite will always be on my dashboard. The other will be kept deep in a folder where I will probably forget about them. No longer will I have to stand waiting with nothing to do but stare at my phone reading boring articles, or in rare instances, playing mindless games. From now on all free time will be spent pouring my heart and my soul into this game. I can wish away my future in computer science and graphic design. I’ll spend what money I have left right now upgrading to an iPhone X and buying cosmetics for Fortnite. That guy you see on the street or in the restaurant staring at his horizontal phone? That’s me. And that group of guys huddle up under the bridge or around the soup kitchen? That’s my buddies and me. I’m hoping that all the pain and suffering we put into grinding this game on mobile will eventually pay off (I’m sure that it will). Pray for me and my buddies as we begin our conquest to climb the ranks of mobile players and become better than the best. Ninja and Myth will know our names and we will beat them in any mobile round of Fortnite. No one will see us coming. Beware.
  • Good but I have great ideas

So, the game is really fun, but there are only three things i don’t like about it. One is how the shoot button is above the joystick. I understand that standing still or crouching and shooting is ideal but when in a shotgun fight or up close fight it’s harder. So I suggest you move the jump above the joystick and shoot where that is. Or you could let us custom It so we can do it where we want it. Another thing is you either have to press the small button above joystick or tap. There are some games that you can press down and it shoots, and I think this would be a really good thing you could turn on. Another thing is the graphics. I understand mobile can be as good looking as pc or console but I’d there some way to make It better? And can you put vision settings so I can make it smoother or something like that. And the last thing is glitches. I understand it’s in early development but there are so many and I was playing with my friend and he had a 7 and I have a 7 plus and his kept crashing but mine never has before. Sorry for the lengthy review but I think these could help the game get past good, and to great! :) have a good day hope you read this. Sorry for my bad spelling and/or wrong word usage.
  • Its a great game

I personally have never played this game on the computer or any console but I love the way it plays with the moblie version. There are other reviews saying to change the button layout mainly the shooting button and to add a button to open chests. I can agree with a button to open chests but this issue really hasn't affected me because it only took a short time to realize that I had to look at it at a small angle and I can now open it every time. I also love where the shooting button is because in a gun fight I am able to maneuver around and use my right thumb to aim making it so that all I have to do to shoot is raise my left thumb. This was a little weird at the beginning but I have gotten used to it playing like this and it works great. Plus even when you aim with your right thumb another way of shooting that I often use for close range fights is to aim then use the right thumb to tap the right screen because this also allows you to fire. The only real problems I encountered was the loot lamas not working and lag. However the lag usually went away as soon as I closed the app then re-opened it, as to refresh it. If ur reading this send a friend request to "Lavygames" and we can do some squad games.
  • Awesome!

I managed to get selected in the 1st wave of the invite event I was stoked. The game is amazing, slightly glitchy but amazing. You can do everything! Play with your pc buddy’s while on mobile, buy skins (game is basically a companion app as you can change load out anytime and check store updates). You can level up your account while in math class, you can grind the challenges in the battle pass... I’d like a better reload button because I accidentally shoot 80% of the time I reload. You can honestly say the Tactical shotgun is better than a Pump on mobile and the bush consumable is actually good. I see people build the 1 by 1 tower design and its hilarious how slow it is but ayy. I’d like to see game controller input somehow but idk if that would be good. A glitch I found is that you can’t grab the golden symbol that is hidden between 3 objects that rewards you 10 battle pass points, I had to go on ps4 to do that. I also noticed no bar indicator when opening Llama supply drops on mobile, idk if the same for normal supply drops. The assault rifles need a buff because there very unreliable compared to the tactical sub machine guns. I would rather have a green tac sub than a legendary scar every time. Game is great and will only get better!. I’m out
  • Fortnite Mobile!!!

    By ColDog5044眠
Now I don’t have to miss out on daily challenges during spring break. I can just play Fortnite on my phone. Rules of Survival and Knives Out were OK, but by far Fortnite is the best Battle Royale game on IOS. I got let in in just 1 day so I am playing now. The running stick isn’t very good but you just have to get used to it. In my first 2 games I got 3rd place in both of them so the controls aren’t very difficult and I’m starting to build faster each game I place. The building button is in the way so when you’re trying to look around when you’re in build mode, you might end up building a wall, stair, platform, or pyramid on accident. Sniping is fairly easy with the Hunting Rifle. I haven’t picked up a Bolt or Semi-Automatic Sniper up yet so I’m not sure how easy that is. Over time everyone that plays Fortnite on Mobile will be good with their fingers and build faster.(Tip: If you want to get some decent loot to start out, go somewhere on the map that isn’t too small, but not to populated either. 1st game-Mountain by Snobby Shores with a house on it. 2nd game- Snobby Shores with the secret staircase that leads to a chest(s).)In both of those games like I said before: I got 3rd place being completely new to the game.
  • Next generation iOS gaming

    By ztmlkidd搔
Lets be real, Fortnite mobile has so far been that one game that everyone has been sneaking in their History class. It has just brought that late night gaming type of style back to reality. Honestly, the game has been insane, but I do not get the full experience because I have an iPhone 6s Plus , but do not worry because I plan to get the iPhone X or iPhone 8 to see some good graphics! The great thing about this game is that once I told my friends about it the day it released the sign up form, they all went crazy. And the next day, we were sneaking every single class to see if the website was giving out sign up forms. It was just crazy. Currently I have 5 wins in total since the game dropped. I love it. The one thing I would fix though, is moving the fire button to the right, because it would be hard to shoot and move at the same time with the controls the way they are, and the double tap to shoot can glitch a bit. Also, this may be taking it far, but why not producing an official customized gamepad designed for each iPhone /iPad that is supported? In conclusion, this game is insane and I can't wait to see more updates to come. Thank you so much!

First off, let us all remember that this is Fortnite MOBILE, not Console or PC. I see a lot of pointless reviews about the subpar controls or the lag. The annoying part is that the people writing those types of reviews have no ideas on how to make the controls better, they just state the obvious. Lastly, there are very few games that allow a Console player, a PC player, and a Mobile player to all play on the same game with each other. One of the obvious ones is Minecraft. It took Mojang several years to come out with cross compatibility, so to see a 100 player Battle Royale introduce it so soon is quite impressive. I think we all need to take a step back and realize how amazing it is that we can play Fortnite on a phone, then play on another platform and have all of your progress transfer over. The things that I would like to see in the game is a larger fire button and the removal of being able to tap anywhere to shoot, because it usually makes me accidentally shoot and give away my position. Other than that all I see is potential in this game, and how convenient it is to be able to complete weekly challenges on your phone.
  • This game is great

    By Evie Morris
Hi. I think this game is great for about 6 reasons. Number one: this game is free and it doesn’t make you pay to have fun! The games that make you pay may by fun but you should be able to have fun without paying. Number two: This game makes you think. It may not seem like it to most people but if you want to get all the way to level ten, it takes a lot of thinking. For example: you have to get the timing right to be able to make sure the ball dose not hit it and make you start over. Number three: you can tell your friends to get it and race! You could see who gets the farthest fastest! I think it’s awesome to play against others and be competitive. Number four: you don’t have to have internet to play! You can take the game anywhere and be able to play! You can have fun wherever you go. Number five: you can also do epic levels and play wit different courses every time you play! Number six: this game motivates you to try harder. It is a goal that people like me want to reach. And some do! I didn’t give up until I passed level ten. Even then I tried to make my own new goals and I had a lot of fun. So thanks. — Evie Morris
