App Reviews

  • Not much better than adobe clip

Looks like adobe rushed this to market? Seems a tad bit better than adobe clip but just wonder why adobe did not get it from there past experience with adobe clip? One being that you still can not toggle the upload of material! Seems like a no brained that this is a preference toggle switch. Also the app keeps wanting to update every time I open it. The ability to cut up video is still not as slick as iMovie where you can use a swipe up or down to cut and I’m finding the inability to roll clips into smaller or bigger segments is not working. Someone mentioned this app is Bette than Luma Fusion. Well maybe they are not actually purchasing this app and so they have adsaybe but in my opinion nothing matches what Luma Fusion can do once you learn the workflow. Sorry Adobe this app is a notch up from clip app but not by much. Hope you guys can do better with creating something that really works well. Until then my vote goes to Luma Fusion for iOS video editing.

I think this is very good for a mobile editor. I think if a few features were added this would be really really good for quick edits while traveling. A few features I would like to see are, key frames for basic stuff like scale etc., maybe some masks, and a few effects like grain, and the warp stabilizer. I would also like to change the sequence size to a custom size. For example 2.39:1 instead of using a .png overlay. Also this is probably the most important thing I would like to see, can we please have a way to view, at least preview our full timelines from the desktop app over CC to show clients what we have been working on, on the go?That would be extremely useful for me at least. Overall, this app seems very promising, keep up the good work 🙂.

For working on your phone app it’s getting there. I’m liking the audio control you get, being able to change the frame of my videos a must need for portrait size. But i found it a little difficult, to get precise cuts on my clips, also the lack of a creative installed title presets, it’s a little difficult to position curser when changing or correcting words and the no speed interpolation for video tracks. So i have to switch between adobe clips and this. I feel they could have just added what they did here to adobe clips and made that a better app, rather then start a whole new one. One last thing. If your going to give us the ability to lair tracks then we need our blend modes.
  • Great! Lacking, but great!

This is pretty good, not gonna lie. It works smoothly and all, but it’s lacking in a few departments. The most important in my case being the lack of transitions. It would be great if there was a system implemented where custom transitions could be added onto clips with the ability to move and arrange key frames while setting their values as well. It would add a lot more possibilities to this app’s editing features and I believe that would increase its popularity within the editing community, resulting in more downloads. It would also go hand in hand with the ability to save presets so it’s good that there is a feature that supports that. The whole transitions thing though, I think it would be great if they were implemented!
  • Ok, but lacks some basic features

While I am an advocate for Adobe products and use them daily, I do have to say that Rush is not quite there yet with functionality that can be found in other free apps. For example, the ability to put a title slide before and after your video. For me to do that, I have to use another app to create the title and then bring it in as a separate graphic. Another example is to fade in/out audio. You again would need to edit in a separate app to do that. Given the limitations, Rush does do some good things with basic cuts, transitions, trims, etc. Overall, I think Rush just needs to mature a bit to become a great “edit anywhere” app.
  • Excellent - can’t wait for it to grow with more features

Started using it last night. Love it!! So happy to be able to use a phone app that will straighten videos, and give the option for editing exposure, etc. also zoom in without losing clarity is sweet! I’m hoping Adobe will get right on it and fix this soon, but unfortunately it crashes constantly. Ugh. But it saves where you left off, so no loss of editing time thankfully. And trying to use the shorten or lengthen tools are hard to use on the phone. The app needs to be more responsive to that command. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars!
  • Good app OUTRAGEOUS PRICE

This app is pretty solid but you have to pay $9.99 per month to export after the first three times. That is a ridiculous price. Especially when you consider there are some really good competitors on the App Store for way less money. I went with an app called Luma Fusion which is a great editor like premier but for a one time payment of $15. Luma fusion is actually more powerful with more options and the price makes it the best option. In my opinion this app should be $20 or one or two dollars a month. No one is going to pay $10 a month when they’re so much cheaper and equal or better competition.
  • Not free to export

Definitely not worth to spend money on monthly subscription for just export. Luma fusion is definitely worth. Because you don’t need to buy a subscription. I hope adobe should do the same thing no more burden to buy a subscription. It’s bad business & who make this idea should be fired. What adobe should do? Is to make some money for their application, Only Mobile. Is to make a pricing for your product & you can make it expensive or less expensive so you don’t have to worry about losing money. You can make bundle packs. Adobe should be afraid of their competitors. Because I believe someone else will have a good idea to beat their competitor without subscription.
  • clean, but needs work

I think the interface is very clean, but battery drain seems to be an issue with Adobe products on mobile. You’ll get quality and can stack 4 video tracks (awesome) but this feels kinda PCish. It is slow to export & heats up the phone (right on time for winter). I love Adobe, but this is not cutting it. We want great mobile apps with the performance we have on larger devices without the old burdensome ways of battery drain and over heating. Other apps are doing it like Lumafusion... so what’s with this? We are rooting for you Adobe.
  • YASSS!!! Finally a GOOD editing app for iPad

I was previously using iMovie but was looking for something with better/more features. I tried several different apps before finding this one and I am glad I found it. This APP is AMAZING!!! Literally has all the features of a desktop application on the iPad. I don’t have a laptop as the iPad is just more portable, but was considering getting one before finding this app. 5 STARS!!!
