  • Ehhh

The idea is fun but I can’t help but feel cheated all the time. First of all, you get 10 seconds which is fine but the song doesn’t even start til you’re 6 seconds in. Second, there is minor lagging but it comes at the most inconvenient times, like during my 10 seconds or just always during the live. Third, (only my opinion) Juliano is the only great host, the others are awkward in their own ways. And fourth, (this isn’t a big deal, it just wasn’t expected) during the countdown before a live there are a number of people, but almost instantly when a game starts the number triples. I understand the app sends out notifications to people before a game but it’s usually like a minute and a half out or so, the count goes from 100 people to 350 people soon as the timer hits one. It only bothered me because of course the winnings would be lower but the app is fun so no problem. And not everybody in the live actually plays the game. It just feels like the app is making that number higher so they won’t have to pay out high winnings.
  • OMG The variety!!

    By Game Varietyyyy
I enjoy JoyRide! The variety in game shows is spectacular in comparison to other live game shows on the phone. You use keys in order to play a game, but you can easily win some if you answer correctly on “Key Questions.” There are some free games & games that are required of at least 8 friends in order to enter. I’ve won a decent amount on here, but not enough to cash out yet lol. I’ve never had any real issues with JoyRide. The only issue I had was when my phone died in the middle of a game that I paid 4 keys to enter. I emailed them for a refund and they did just that! If you don’t see a game theme that interests you, you are able to request themes which makes it even more fun and personable. The hosts are fun too! They interact with the game players and all. This is the only game show I’ve kept on my phone and I don’t think I’ll be deleting it any time soon 😌
  • Bad first impression

Technical issues during the free orientation game, first song didn't play for a large portion of the people playing so I got knocked out right away didn't care about using a key to continue you only get 2 and the games require 3 to join so I wasn't going to waste a key in order to continue playing on that trainwreck. If you really like pop and rap this is the game for you with the exception of one bonus round song that was rock it only used pop or rap artist. How much you earn from winning will not pay for the subscription you need to earn $10($25 if you don't have a subscription) before you can cash out but subscription cost 6.99 per week for 14 keys you can only play 4 games with them since games require 3 to join, so unless you win all your games and earn a minimum of 1.75 per game just to make up what the subscription cost you'll be losing money you still need to earn $3 to meet the 10 minimum to cash out so you really need to win $2.50 in the 4 games you can join with the 14 keys you get from the subscription.
  • Slowly becoming pay to play/win

    By DMac9296
I use to love this app and I still like it, but it’s slowly become a pay to play/win app. Before September there would only be games it the night and they would start at regular times(top of the hour and half past). And there would only be afternoon games on the weekend. Now, there are afternoon games everyday and the start times are weird(top of the hour, 20 past, and 40 past). Also, most of those games require keys and it’s hard to keep up. Now I’m not saying that you should play every game, but if someone wanted to do that, eventually they will have to pay for keys, especially since we don’t get 2 per game anymore. It’s cool that you are trying to get all the types of games all in one day, but honestly you should go back to how you were and split the games. For example, one day have TopPop and Film Frenzy, and other days have Sold and Fan. That way you still get games, but it doesn’t become a p2w app.
  • The Best Trivia App

    By Hoke
I play or have played most of the more popular trivia apps out there as it is a great way to make some extra cash, especially if you just happen to know a lot of random tidbits of different kinds of trivia (and are also good at making educated guesses lol.) I must say, that Joyride has become my favorite app to play. I really enjoy the different types of games they have from Film Frenzie to Music Mania to Sold to regular trivia games, the hosts, and the not wasting 5 minutes for shout outs and self promotion to get to the game haha. Yes, in order to REALLY play, you should get a weekly or monthly subscription, but it’s totally worth it. If you play a few times a day, you can almost always make a decent profit. So overall, Joyride gets 5 stars for me and if you’re looking to add a trivia app or even download your first one, I definitely recommend Joyride!
  • The best trivia app out there!

    By Nickc2171
I started playing Joyride a few weeks ago and have been paid a few times already. There are different types of games that you can play including Music Mania which is my personal favorite. All of the hosts are excellent and keep the app fresh and innovative. The payouts are much higher than other trivia apps that I have played and you get paid quickly. I could see why others wouldn’t like the interactive features of the app but personally I think that they are fantastic and what makes this app unique. I love collecting keys on Joyride and how you need to earn your way into playing certain games. These key games are the most fun and the best way to earn money. The support team is quick to respond if you have any problems as well which is great. Overall I would definitely give Joyride 5/5 stars.
  • One of the last good trivia apps

    By reynoodle8236
When I saw the subscription model of joyride I thought that this would be yet another cash grab trivia game, but when I started playing I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this was not the case! I signed up for the free trial to experience the premium experience, and the benefits are well worth paying the $6.99/mo. You get 14 “keys” per week, which you can use as extra lives, as “freezes” during the speed based trivia crush, or as entry into the higher paying trivia games. In addition to this, all of the key based games are half off! The trivia games are fun and challenging and the hosts are full of life (especially Ruba). And the best part is you don’t have to pay for anything if you don’t want to because every game has questions which award you keys for free! Get joyride and you won’t regret it.
  • My favorite live trivia app!

    By Paperbounded
I rarely write reviews, but I have to for Joyride. I love to play “name that tune” and tend to be a bit of a sponge of useless information. Joyride was one of the few apps I’d found with several games per day AND much of it was music trivia! If that hadn’t been enough for me, the hosts are amazing and they’re constantly improving - since I started playing, they’ve rolled out at least three new types of games - have definitely won me over. The hosts are all great (and not to play favorites from behind-the-scenes, but I always love seeing Pemberton in the chat). It’s been worth it to me to have the subscription - I’ve cashed out twice and have more than covered what I’ve spent so far and look forward to playing more!

Joyride is a unique find in the sea of trivia apps, and it’s their own doing that has made it one of my go-to apps for trivia and entertainment. Every week, Joyride seems to bring some new game format or change to their existing formula that keeps their app feeling fresh, especially when comparing the game plans of their competitors. While most of their trivia games are free to play, you won’t have to jump through too many hoops to play many of the rest; however, you may have to cough up some cash to cover some of the entry fees (paid in Keys, the in-app lifeline system) to play some of the Big Money shows. If you’re good enough at trivia, there are plenty of free Keys and money to be earned in the process. And the community that has formed around the Joyride app and its games has been largely positive! Check it out for yourself, and if you don’t like what you see, provide feedback—Joyride has an excellent customer service team that tends to respond in a respectful and reasonably quick manner.
  • Joyride is one of best trivia games out there

    By Nessasaurian
Joyride is one of the best trivia games out there! I’ve been playing consistently and it’s become my daily addiction. They offer a variety of trivia games (not just one) with Music Mania being my personal favorite. Some shows are even themed so you have time to brush up on your trivia skills beforehand. It’s not impossible to win, and their support team is quick to pay your winnings and will often give free keys (or extra lives as some people call it) if anything goes wrong in the game. The hosts are awesome, everything is awesome. Keep up the great work and please keep the games coming!!!
