  • Won't open beyond Logo screen

    I've used the app for a while with no issues. After the last update, the app will not open beyond the Logo screen. I tried closing the app completely and rebooting my iPhone 6 before trying to reopen and still it will not go beyond the logo screen. This version does not work. In response to your questions, I have an iPhone 6 software version 10.3.3. I believe that prior to the app upgrade I was using the remember me function. I do not believe that I was using the Touch ID to log in. The app never goes beyond the Dish Logo, so I cannot verify that information. The app was convenient prior to the app upgrade and is now useless in its current configuration. Since there appear to be several reviews with the same issue, hopefully this will be able to be resolved quickly. Thank you for your response.
  • It Finally Works!

    A few days ago, I received a developer’s note saying that an update was issued “this morning” and that improvements had been made. I immediately updated the app (and for good measure, updated the iOS on my iPad Air 2). With hopeful anticipation I opened the app. Black screen with MyDish logo in the middle. I waited, pressed all over the screen (thinking there might be a secret login square somewhere), closed the app and re-opened it. Nope. Just black screen and MyDish logo. Still waiting. Update: I tried opening the app today and was pleasantly surprised—it finally worked. It is now a very useful tool.
  • Paying bill

    I finally just down loaded the app. I was trying to pay my bill with no success--your website is down. Tried calling but would have to wait 50 minutes, so called back for tech support which was a 21 minute wait. While waiting, I downloaded the app and paid the bill. I tried paying the bill 2 weeks ago, but you don't have a calendar to pay in advance for a later due date. I don't want give my money to you 2 weeks early, so I have to wait until the due date to pay it. All other businesses I deal with, you can pay early. This would be nice if you offered that.
  • Poor service

    My voice command not working. Have been in chats and phone with them several times, they sent out tech and he said never saw this issue before. Replaced receiver and it worked for 2 days. Called again, they said they had and issue and it has been sent to higher ups to fix in 10/5, over a month ago. They did schedule another tech to come out which I canceled. I have spent literally hours on this and was not going to waist time agin with another tech. So I just do not have the voice commands that I keep watching the ads for telling me how great it is. Then last straw, today I go to watch HBO and it is gone! Again I have to spend my time calling to find out they are in contract dispute with them. Could Dish not have informed me and saved me the calling time.
  • The app is about as good as the service

    After my third time of uninstalling/reinstalling, I am finally deleting this useless app for good. Nine times out of ten, it won’t load past the opening screen, and it just did that again today. I got the app because I was told we could manage our week-long wait for a technician there, and try to find an earlier date for our appointment. Can’t do that either... the app allows you to reschedule for a later date or cancel. Not what I needed it for. I am using an iPhone 8+ with plenty of space. There’s no reason any app shouldn’t work on this phone - unless it’s a crappy app. So on TOP of our broken DISH, and extreme lag in getting a technician, now we get a useless app too? Thanks DISH. Good thing our contract is up. Time to look for new service.

    I have tried them all and Dish is just simply The Best! Hands down they are truly the BEST and I am finally satisfied with my services and equipment and my monthly bill! I should have switched to them years ago... to think of how much money I wasted and was over charged by other companies! You will not regret going with Dish ... you have nothing to lose because you do not have to sign any contracts! Give them a try and be happy about paying a bill for awesome features and excellent service!!!!! A+++++
  • Billing

    You all are not going to change your procedures for one person , but most bills I receive are due in 28-30 days not 15. I would hate to think youall do this so you can collect a late fee. Why the short billing time? I received my paper bill the day my service was discontinued. I cannot get cable where I Am located and the other satellite service is an absolute crook. Guess I am stuck with you . Perhaps you wish all your subscribers to do everything electronically. That is only answer I can imagine So, now how long before service is back on?
  • Loyalty Matters

    Wish I could get better deals like new customers do. You should reward your long term customers better with better rates. I’ve been loyal customer for 5 years, you should give me better rates on my package. I love Dish, I’d just like to get better rates like new customers. I can switch to a different provider for much cheaper, but I don’t and you should reward me with free pay per views occasionally or a better package rate deal for sticking with you.
  • App. Doesn’t work 40% of the time.....

    Frustrating! The Dish App. is great when it works. The App. Continuously locks up while watching programming. I am not able to schedule my recordings in the App. the App. shows an error message (not able to schedule recording) I am also not able to watch my “series” recorded shows. Very Frustrating! Dish prices are too high @ $145 per month not to receive your programming. Direct TV prices are much cheaper and offer the same services. I have been a customer of DISH for 16 years due to there customer service is great.😊
  • Dish for My RV needs work!!

    We still don’t understand the reason, but way too often, our program guide fails to update as it should during the wee morning hours. So what we get is a guide with only the current channel lineup and the upcoming hour or two. Beyond that, “no information available.” It’s very frustrating and aggravating! When we call in, DISH customer service has us going through a receiver reset, re-downloading the guide, everything we had already tried before calling in. One rep even said we needed a new coaxial cable (not!). There’s got to be a reason why this happens so frequently and DISH needs to figure it out and fix it.
