If you successfully downloaded the Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe, go to your Downloads folder on your computer or anywhere you ususally store downloaded files.

App Reviews

  • It’s just really not worth it

Now it’s Already in or to have an anime streaming website that’s legal and has dubbed but Honestly the small selection of good anime in my opinion I have probably watched maybe 7-9 anime series from this app Since I got it (NOTE I have the premium )because of the reason there is little selection and good anime also ( note that most of the 7-9 anime’s were only 1 season 12 eps I don’t know about you guys but 12 eps is like 1 1/2 days out of my weekend that’s not a long time plus on those days studying for school for hours so ya that’s not as much anime as I’d like it to be but hay what can you do now I’m not telling you to do any thing illegal and I honestly get mad when people go to illegal websites for in a man because then the animal sells last copies of their product and when they sell less they usually don’t make all the seasons of good shows like(sky wizards academy, aesthetica of a rogueHero,Chrome shelled regios, world break aria of curse for a holy swordsman,reLife,GAMERS! , another world with my smart phone,High school of the dead, akaschic records of bastard magic instructor ,classrooms of the Elite, dragonar Academy, The scared blacksmith, and ECT.) and for those who saying you never stumbled upon a illegal website to watch anime your lying and you know it I’ve done it once or twice but still by the anime DVDs in merchandise )
  • iPhone X complaints

First off, I really enjoy the app. Haven’t used it in a long while, then I redone loaded and noticed that they’re using the ad type model now and got back in, and now I’m using the free trial and will likely use the paid version, however... I’m finding that the thin line that has effectively replaced the home button on this model of iPhone is always on when watching from this app, so I’ve got the bar on the screen over the videos that are playing. Other apps have the bar fade away when the screen isn’t touched. It’s rather annoying. The other complaint would be that I got to episode 10 of High School DxD and it just will not for whatever reason play the next episode. I’ve had startup issues on some before but they usually play. It’s like I’m not allowed to watch further, and just gives an error message. I tried other devices and it doesn’t work there either, so it’s obviously the service in general. Outside of that, I enjoy the selection of anime that’s provided, but like many that are posting reviews here, the service itself and the way it’s presented needs a lot of fine tuning. I want to love it, I really do. P.S.- a screen rotation option would be nice guys, k thx. That being said, thanks for the awesome app.
  • love what y’all do but this isn’t your specialty

This App makes me re-login to my account every single time I open it after closing, not only that and does not give you the option to flip your phone around and watch things the other way it’s like having your phone on lock, and it hardly ever actually lets you watch things given the fact most times you click on videos it’ll just say something went wrong as well with with my login I can log on fine in my account on the computer but everytime I try to login on the app it says something went wrong and then eventually lets me in after about 15 minutes of trying (with the same correct password mind you) I love the anime that’s available on this app but this app is so poorly made that I hardly get to ever watch them not to mention the fact that I pay a monthly fee for this app the constantly crash or have a million other issues, seriously it’s not that hard to fix whoever made this app should’ve taken a little more time making it or at least take a lot of time fixing it. Oh and get this, their customer support doesn’t even work!
  • Apple TV app needs one thing...

I love the app overall, but not being able to hit the Menu button and return to your place on the show list (like when you want to read the description of a show then return to your place on the list) is a bummer. Instead I have to go back to the main screen and start over, which often means I have to scroll BACK through hundreds of shows just to get to the one I just read about. I’ve tried everything to fix this in case it was me doing something wrong, but it’s not. Now the only thing I can do is not click on a show unless it really really looks interesting enough to watch based on the photo, and often I end up not watching it, or else I have to search through all that all over again. Or I just have to browse shows on my phone and add them to my queue for the Apple TV—browsing on the Apple TV itself is terrible. If you guys could fix this issue, that would be sweet.

Look between Crunchyroll and Funimation I prefer Funimation but there are somethings that Crunchyroll has the higher up on. One thing I like about Crunchyroll is that they allow you to download things for offline viewing albeit you have to use VRV but the option is still there. I also tend to watch stuff in the dark and I don’t like Funimation’s extremely bright white and purple UI compared to Crunchyroll’s black and orange UI which is much better to look at in the dark. Funimation’s UI also seems so barebone(not that Crunchyroll’s is much better but still at least they show the seasonal anime). Overall the only reason I use Funimation over Crunchyroll is for the dubs I used to use Crunchyroll cause of their more extensive catalog of anime. I wouldn’t mind if Funimation had some subbed only anime on there along with the dubs but this is the main reason I’m debating going back to Crunchyroll. If they can change some of these things I’ll never go back to Crunchyroll again
  • Not as great as i hoped

I dont have premium so i sit through the ads which for this app i dont mind; for example VRV its commercials are random and i had the same commercial play 5 times in a row, Funimation only plays 2-3 commercials that are about 5-10 seconds long but at least these are set to play at a certain time. But VRV isn’t as glitchy when it comes to scrolling through different animes and when adding one to your watchlist. When scrolling this app has glitched to 10 animes ahead when im trying to read the title and scroll. This app has also glitched when tapping on the next episode of an anime which annoys me as well because im so into the show. VRV also has the 1st season to, im pretty sure, all the animes unlike this app, i was gonna start watching the 1st season of black butler but there’s only the 2nd season. Im also not a fan of how this app doesn’t tell you or show you an episode is for premium until you click it and the thumbnail says subscription or (as ive encountered) the episodes thumbnail wont say subscription but when clicking on it it will say sorry but you need to have a subscription. At least with this i can get episodes that VRV wouldnt let me watch To be honest I’d get a premium account with VRV but their monthly payment is too high compared to Funimation. This is just my experience with the app, it might just depend on what device you’re using it on. I’ll most likely give another review if i get premium But other than that Bye

Mobile app is pretty glitchy can’t scroll through the selections without it skipping or jumping to a previous position. Some shows don’t have second seasons even though I know they do. When being used on the PS4 scrolling and searching are much more easier to bare with but I would like to see better fast forwarding options. I don’t like watching the intro every time a new episode comes on so I have to fast forward, with that you don’t know exactly when to stop because it does not project what frame you are on like Netflix does. I’m not sure if it’s just my end but the options for Japanese isn’t available and there are some shows I would rather watch English subbed but I can’t seem to figure that out so I just assume that isn’t a options for me. I love supporting the company so paying for the subscription is still worth it I just know that there is more potential for the app. Hope to see some fixes along the line
  • Big !problems !that need!to be fixed!

dear Funimation crew, this is a great app to use! They have dubs and subs. You can stream anytime, and anywhere. But the streaming isn't even that great :( it doesn't work well. Another problem is ads, you guys have way too many adds back to back in just one episode, and sometimes the same ads constantly play! The last, and most terrible problem about Funimation is, if you don't have the premium membership you can only watch two free episodes of a anime like "My Hero Academia", which isn't fair. Nobody wants to pay a heaping amount of money just to watch a anime they can watch on another site that's a full free season. Its truly disappointing and a rip off! If you have the membership than great. But I don't some others too. Some people can't even afford to pay the monthly membership... I like Funimation but I think you guys need to fix problems like this. Personally I think you should extend the amount charger for the premium gold Crunchyroll member ship to probably, like 6.99 or 7.99. thanks for reading that's my review.
  • It’s better than before but still needs work

A year ago this app was a complete mess. I have fiber internet and it would buffer about every 3 minutes. But now I’ve recently come back to it and it seems to be working wayyyy wayyy better than before. Watched all of high school dxd and it buffered once. But still you guys need to fix the glitch with the search engine on consoles and mobile. Seems like every other time you go to type something in it freezes. Sometimes to the point where you have to close out of the app. Another thing. I really wish you guys offered a little bit more seasonal anime. Even if it’s only subbed I always keep up season to season and it’d be nice to make Funimation my go to place for all anime . I do understand with licensing and partnerships it can be kind of difficult but I’m sure you guys can figure something out. I’ve been a premium user for over a year and overall I’ve enjoyed my experience. ^_^
  • 2 issues

I have 2 complaints. 1st is a minor inconvenience, can’t rotate my phone. The app only plays videos in one direction and I can’t rotate my phone the other way unless I wanna watch my show upside down. I have poor hearing on my right side and the app forces my phone to be laying with the speakers away from my good ear. Would be nice if the app would rotate the screen. The second is a bigger inconvenience. I can’t remove shows from the currently watching list with out having to get on my computer. If I watch a show and decide I don’t like it, I’m stuck with it on my list until I get on my computer to remove it from my list. This should be built into the app. A lot of the time I’ll watch the first episode or 2 to see if it’s something I wanna watch and if it’s not, I don’t want it to always be on my list. These 2 issues should be easily fixable with an update to the app. The 2nd is also an issue for watching on my PS4.
