App Reviews

  • Needs to be fixed

    By Mike9365
UPDATE: 2/8/17 You can read the review below. I'm changing from one star to five stars. The developers listened and now it's working great. OLD REVIEW: I've used this app in the past and it's worked fine. I would normally have given it 4-5 stars because it did what it was supposed to without being anything special. However, I tried to order tonight and before it will let me put anything in my cart, it says the name and phone number is missing. So I look at my profile and everything is there. So I think maybe add a space or something and it will somehow pick it up; but it returns an unavailable error. So, it's basically a phone book and menu, because that's all it can do. If I have to call to order carry-out I can just use the Yelp app and it would be faster. Either fix it or eliminate it because apps that don't work are worse than none at all.
  • App is losing OG business

    By Makie1490
I love ordering online and I love Olive Garden. However, this new app is losing business for Olive Garden, and I'll tell you why. Everything about the app works well, with the exception of the pick up time. If I call OG and place an order I can pick it up in 20 minutes, if I order with the OG app it gives me a pick up time in the neighborhood of 40 minutes to one hour. There is an Applebee's almost next-door to Olive Garden. With their app I can pick up the order in 15 minutes. As a result, I tend to order from Applebee's instead. I think OG should take another look at their app and make the pick up times the same as when you call in an order. This is an update to a previous review. This does everything well except checkout. I have tried at least 10 different times. At first it wouldn't take my card, so I paid at the restaurant. Now it doesn't even work for that. I just have to call them; like in 1950's. Come on folks get it together.
  • Nice app. Could have nicer, modern UI

    By xMhillx
UPDATE: So I closed & restarted the app, i.e. cleared it from the app switcher. Then the Order To Go worked and I placed my order. So it does work after all. It's a nice app but I think it could be made nicer and more intuitively. I'd like way more pictures, and the ability to zoom into pictures. Also, integrate more swiping gestures to navigate between pages. Oh and add ability to pay with Apple Pay!! ---- Downloaded on April 07. Wanted to order on my iPhone 6s and pickup. Went through the process. My selected location says it has Order To Go available. Got to the end to place the order. But an error wouldn't let me make the order "Unable to process the request at this time. Please try again later." Tried multiple times; couldn't get it to place the order. I'm more technical savvy than the average person. So it's not seemingly user error. Disappointed. I'll be deleting the app. Eating somewhere else.
  • App is great on the off chance that it works

    By T Guil
I have used this app before and when it works it’s great. It’s wonderful to be able to order while on the go. Other reviews are quite right that the app is sluggish and hard to navigate but it’s still great to order on the go when it decides to work. I spent 20 minutes tonight (not the first time I’ve done this) trying to order a to go order with the app. I continually got: “Sorry there’s been a problem completing your request. Please try again later.” I rebooted my phone and deleted and reinstalled the app to no avail. Olive Garden really needs to step up their game.
  • Thanks for you recent update, but...

    By stacie0202
I can use the app but under appetizers where you can add the dipping sauces that comes with 4 bread sticks is missing meat sauce. I see marinara and 2 other kind of dipping sauces but not meat sauce. We order that for extra sauce for our spaghetti but I have to put that in special instructions for them to add later. Upon another update if that is able to get added that would be great. Thanks!
  • Not coded to function well

    By Tevitt
While ordering a to go order it kept saying the time had changed for pickup - and after that message I couldn’t add anything to the order or delete. Basically couldn’t continue and kept fighting with it and wasting time. Finally figured out that I had to go to the checkout screen and *I* had to change the time to a later time (the error message doesn’t indicate that) before I could add more to the order. It should tell the user what to do to remedy the problem so it’s not frustrating or wastes time.
  • Very Poor User Interface

    By Lakjal
This is not a good app. I’ve known this for awhile, and worked around it by calling in orders instead. However, recently hold times have been so long I thought I’d give the app another shot. I instantly regretted that decision. The interface is unintuitive, and generally difficult to navigate. The animations are jerky, scrolling menus feel clunky, and many basic niceties of the iOS interface are missing. Some examples are: no credit card scanning, no Apple Pay, and I’m sure there are more. If Olive Garden wants people to order online, please re-make this app from the ground up.
  • Great App

    By Ellie usinxnckdis
Finally this has came out!!!! I can order what I want and pick up my food later! Also I can see the menu with pictures of what the food will look like and a description of what it is. You can find restaurants near you and have everything you want ready when you get there. I really recommend getting this
  • Misleading "Join waiting list" section

    By Drewbacca777
If I can't do a party of 7, then why does the counter go up to 7 when joining the wait list? It said 7 on the list, then when I confirmed the reservation, it only showed for 2. I went back to look at it, and I'm very small print it adds, "for parties of 7 or more, please call...". Then they tell you thy don't do wait list reservations for 7 or more. The app should just say that, and not have me waste my time calling in, or even thinking I can do a party of 7 on the wait list.
  • Awesome!!

    By tassmstr66
This app has everything. Order Togo online, searches local OGs automatically, pictures and descriptions of the menus. Basically anything you would want and it's so easy to use. Looks like soon you will also be able to see and join the wait as well. I highly recommend this app. Finally!! Thank you!
