App Reviews

  • iPhone X bugs

    By bicb02
The formatting of this app feels like the whole thing is too blown up, as all the content doesn’t fit on an iPhone X. When I click the pullout menu on the left, some of the text isn’t able to be seen, presumably because of the screen dimensions of my phone. The main reason I got this app was for the daily practice questions. However, when I try and look at the Question & Answer pull-up menu, the whole thing glitches as I can’t pull down the menu. This means I can’t see the question, look at most of the answers, or go back to the text. It is physically impossible for me to answer the daily questions... Isn’t that the entire purpose of the app? So I can “practice daily”? Um okay. Everything about this app feels cramped on my iPhone X. It’s really annoying and makes the app difficult to operate. If everything was working correctly and was properly formatted on my phone, then I would really like this app. It seems like a great tool for students, though I wouldn’t know, because due to bugs I haven’t had the pleasure of trying it out firsthand. College Board— Please fix this!
  • Good questions

    By C0okiemonster
I mainly downloaded this because of the question of the day, and the questions are fun to do. Although the questions are fine, the app itself is a bit buggy because sometimes I can’t get into the app. The app will make me return to the home screen once I press on it which is annoying. I would like for the company who updates this app to tell us where we can get all the practice tests in the app. I know the Khan Academy tests are available, but I will do those on their website. I’m just wondering if there are other practice tests.
  • TIP: Complete Black Box!

    By Chi22chi22
Scanned a full test yesterday and got my score. Checked a few of the marked answers with the key just to make sure and everything matched! I have also been doing the practice question each day with no problems. PRO TIP: make sure the ENTIRE black box is visible in the picture before holding still. Even things like hole punches or staples can throw it off. Otherwise it's solid.

This app is perfect for studying, whether it be months in advance or days before. The scanner portion is super nice because it saved time. I had a PSAT score of 1260. A month before my test, I downloaded this and used it often, doing practice questions and multiple tests. I ended up with a 1510. This app is great to test and elaborate on your skills in preparation for your test day.
  • Won’t allow us to sign in

    By Hannes Soll
Both my sister and I created accounts on the college board website. The app won’t recognize either of our sign in details. Keeps saying password is not recognized. We have both tried resetting our passwords in the app and on the website which we do successfully but as soon as you try sign in on the app, it doesn’t recognize the password. I’ve wasted a half hour trying to sign in. Would be appreciated if the developer can fix this bug as I wld really like to use the app
  • Frustrating

    By cynicalsyd
I really wish I could recommend this app, but I cannot. The screen dimensions need to be fixed for the iPhone X. It’s frustrating not being able to use this app because the answers pull out too far off the screen. The Scan and Score feature works, but is rather fickle. It’s honestly more convenient to take the full practice tests online on Khan Academy than going through the scanning process to score.
  • Literal Hell!!!

    By iOS Datasurfer
I had finished taking the practice SAT and thought that I would use this "convenient" app. I struggled for half an hour trying to get the scanner to score my test. I couldn't even scan one page. It kept popping up with a message saying that I was having problems scanning the page every time that I was about to successfully scan the page. This app made me want to bash my head into a wall. I recommend hand scoring your tests instead. Just google how to do so.

The Scan and Score feature works well, although you need to take bright pictures, and it doesn’t tell you why it’s not grading them otherwise. However, the Question of the Day does not work for me, perhaps because I am on an iPhone X. The bottom tab races up and up and... out of screen. I can’t see the answers, let alone pick one. Please fix this in the next update!
  • Needs work

    By Bsnskskslshdh
The app worked fine at first but I tried signing in today and it said there is an error in the system and I’m taking the SAT very soon. All I wanted to do was see my score but now that’s not possible because of the issue on the app. This needs to be fixed immediately because I need my scores to see if I’m improving or not and what I need to work on before I take the real test!!!!!
  • Previously left a bad review, but the app is flawless with new update

    By jper1818
Old version was very buggy on iPhone X and newer, now the app has no issues. Scanning feature works great, daily practice is awesome and connection with Khan Academy is the cherry on top. 🍒
