Using My CenturyLink on your Windows computer is actually very easy but if you are new to this process, you will definitely need to pay attention to the steps listed below. This is because you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We will help you download and install My CenturyLink on your computer in 4 simple steps below:

1: Download an Andriod Software emulator for Windows

The importance of the emulator is that it emulates or immitates an android environment on your computer, making it super easy to install and run android apps from the comfort of your PC without buying a phone that runs android. Who says you cannot enjoy both worlds? To begin, you can download such an emulator app made by too top dogs in the space.
A. Nox App . OR
B. Bluestacks App .
Personally, I recommend the "B" option as Bluestacks is very popular so if you run into any trobles using it, you can find good solutions on Google or Bing (lol).

2: Now Install the Software Emulator on your Windows PC

If you successfully downloaded the Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe, go to your Downloads folder on your computer or anywhere you ususally store downloaded files.
Once you have find it, click it to install the application. It should start the installation process on your PC.
Click Next to accept the EULA License agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application.
If you do the above correctly, the Software will be successfully installed.

3: How to Use My CenturyLink for Windows PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and locate the search bar. Now type My CenturyLink in the search bar and hit Search. You will easily see the app. Click on My CenturyLink application icon. A window of My CenturyLink will open and it will display the app in your Emulator Software. Hit the Install button and your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
Next, you will see the "All Apps" icon.
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.

  • Horrible when it comes to installs or repairs

Save yourself a head ach! I’ll make this as short as I can, if you have no choice and work Monday - Friday, plan on taking the day off, as the they have no Saturday install hours. My installer didn't show up the first time, didn't bother to call to let me know that he’d been delayed and wasn't going to make it. I was on chat till about 8pm trying figure what was going on. When an installer does call, the caller id says unknown, so you can call back and they didn't leave their phone number in the voice mail. They can't seem give correct information nor take it, and you don't find out till you have to call back. Long story short, lots of issues later, I found out that I could get hughesnet in my area(I live in the country) and they could come out the next day, so I went with them. I have talked to a lot of other people as well, and they’ve all had issues with this company.
  • DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CENTURYLINK

Do yourself a favor and choose another company! This app is as bad as the rest of CenturyLink’s services. You can’t log in. Too bad there isn’t a negative review. I had prism. After my contract expired they wanted an additional $130/month. I said no turn it off. It took me calling 4x over a 5 week period to get the return label for the equipment. Which I of course now have been charged for. After being told I wouldn’t be. During all of that I decided to upgrade my internet speed. Their 1st visit to “upgrade” they turned it off. After the 2nd I was told they couldn’t provide me that speed because I was too far from their equipment?!?! Total BS!! I used to live 3 blocks from where I am now and had the faster speed. The tech obviously just didn’t want to do the work. I’m done with this pathetic so called company.

Came home last night to no DSL. I hate calling any utilities companies and try to navigate their phone tree, sit on hold forever etc. etc. Instead I installed this app. easily got logged into my account and my home page showed a message that internet service in my area was down. The answer I was looking for. Some might rate this app. as low because it delivered bad news but that has nothing to do with how well the app. works. This app. gave me the info I was looking for and did so very quickly.

Having problems with internet repair ( I won’t bore you with all the details of not having internet for two weeks) and tech support suggested that I download this app so that I could follow progress of the repair plus other options After spending much of the morning chatting with tech support in trying to get the app to recognize my email logon that is associated with my account I finally gave up I deleted the app to reinstall and this time I read the reviews. SURPRISE SURPRISE. Almost every single review I read says the app is useless and most are complaining of the same thing Why in the world would CenturyLink put out this app if it was not thoroughly tested and reviewed. Especially when there are an overwhelming number of complaints of the same issue. Could it be the same people who developed this app are also in charge of their internet? Hmmmm Do yourself a favor and read the reviews first before attempting to download this app so that you don’t waste an additional morning of frustration
  • Horrible app. Horrible company

First to review the app. All features just re rout you to the web app so there is no reason at all to download it. The one feature the app advertises - that you can track your technician is utter bs. They just tell you what day your technician will arrive. The web services are super cumbersome and slow. You are better off calling the company directly. As for the company go with any other company. My service went down and they could not get a tech to me for five days, the tech was hours late, and I had to call the company multiple times to make sure they got there. Go with a different internet provider.

I just downloaded the app after talking to a service rep today. For some reason, my phone was saying my WiFi password was wrong but I hadn’t changed it recently. It took literally 2 min to update my password on the app and now I’m good to go! Not sure what other people are complaining about. It’s 8pm and I just fixed my internet issue on my own.
  • Diagnostics & Reset Great. Tech Chat SUCKED

I can’t speak to others’ complaints/bad reviews but App worked great to diagnose/reset my modem... which is what I wanted and is critical if the WiFi stalls on Smart Home devices. App ould be improved with a “Resetting” and “Done/Reset” dialogue boxes for that process- but WiFi restarted. Also needs Facial Recognition... fingerprint is nice but not the latest tech :/ I tried tech Chat and the app/system was fine but the tech agent either couldn’t or wouldn’t answer my question and simply sent some web addresses and hung up. The transcript shows agent wouldn’t admit not knowing or digging for the answer. I’d be fine if someone said “I don’t know” but why waste time on a service or company that just runs away. I haven’t had problems with live customer service but this was BAD.
  • Useless [cr]app

Apparently designed by retards who were also high on dope (and having a lobotomy performed) while designing the app. Could not be worse in so many ways. Useless dung. For instance: I spent over 30 minutes simply trying to get it to log in properly, and then to simply pay a bill. Tried paying bill with credit cards multiple times. Don’t take AMEX. Okay, Visa: “Error: we experienced a system issue”. No other message. So, they stored my credit cards, but cannot process a credit card payment because of a “system issue”? Chat for support? Link doesn’t work. Man!

I had an awesome experience using this app. I couldn’t connect to the internet and was helped through the Chat function. I way prefer this option to calling in for customer service. I was back up and running in 15 mins. I would recommend giving it a try next time you need help.
  • This app works fine!!

Most 1 star reviews on here are complaining about bad experiences with century link customer service. You’re going to get that with any phone/internet company. The app itself is fast and gives me all the info I need. It lets me test my connection and speed and view the status of technical help.
